Tim when hauling a piece of equipment backwards you got to cover the exhaust. The turbo will free spin with "no oil" and you know what happens next.

Before disconnecting, move the fifth wheel forward, it makes it a lot easier. And cover the smoke pipe you going to damage the turbo.

When you hook up to your deck after removing the collars, before you put your wood and air back up, slide you fifth wheel forward to have more of the truck under the deck to avoid chucking the wood. When you re-connect put your safety pin in. Air down, pull boards. Then slide the fifth wheel back using the safety pin to hold it still. Then drop the deck off to re-connect the collars.

there are many ways to work. the fast and smart way ,ore the slow and hard way. Tim like the hard way. you show the disconect and reconect many thimes in the smart way !
HEY TIM, READ THIS! IMPORTANT INFO. Very experienced double drop guy here. 1. Slide 5th wheel to ahead of center. (Gives proper cantilever) Now you can drop the trailer. 2. Set the trailer on the ground. I only use wooden blocks to store the trailer. (Chain back the goose neck to the deck when you store the trailer or when you have snow) 3. Remove Air Lines!!!! Tuck them away! Hard to find spares…yup 4. Unhook D rings. (Do Not pull the safety pin at this time!!! Or crawl under the trailer with both pulled! The only thing holding that when you were under was the pin V notch! Not a good way to die! 5. Find proper 4X6 hardwood for frame rails. One is enough! Back truck under again leave air out Install block of wood at the ramp. 6. Now you can pull the safety pin, jump in air up and gently pull away. When loading pull your chains first. Less sweat 7. Load. Always store your ratchet binders oiled and threads retracted. 8. Reverse the process to hook up. Remember to line the goose neck to the trailer, not the truck. Print and Carry in the truck with you. Glue it to your forehead if you have to, But be safe…that was pretty crazy.

Little 30 t wagon. We use them to be under the 80 000 lbs. Some trailer brands use air bags on the rails.
Where's your turbo savers if I loaded a machine without putting the turbo saver on my boss would have a fit

He doesn't know any better. Never been taught correctly. Also flags on the widest part of the load. Please wash those nasty windows, wear gloves so you don't get it all over the wheel, and dig the taters on the tach. Good grief.

@ericpeterson9051
Жыл бұрын
@@OffroadCpl it's not a myth because it makes your turbo spin backwards which ruins them not to mention there's no way for lubrication without the motor running to keep the turbo lubricated so you supposed to put a turbo saver over to exhaust to keep it from spinning
I saw Braxton stick that trailer with that truck into a hole in front of his shop on another video better than 80% of these Swift drivers that I have to sit 10 minutes waiting on them to get it in a hole at the truck stops. He is an awesome young man
Just had my first working interview since I got my cdl, accepted the position after spending the day with the owner and moving 3 loads. 96 KW with a straight piped cat and a 15 speed. So glad I’m not starting in a plastic truck for a mega carrier !! Let’s go !!!

I love the shots from the trailer point of view. Really awesome!
Love you too brother! Miss Braxton!
What a hodge podge setup! What in the world. So much hassle to hook and unhook that piece of junk.
Hey Tim! Love it when you show the hauling segment from different angles! It really adds a lot to the entertainment value! Video is still very overexposed when you film from inside the cab and even some indoor stuff. You might need to really double check the camera settings before recording.
When i ran a 60 ton float i had a stinger that rested on the rear frame and lifted the front of the trailer and held it up never disconnected the trailer ever, just lifted it off the pins.

Thanks for the video.
Good job Tim appreciate the videos buddy 👍
exhaust leak,.? keep all Windows opened until you get to the shop and fix it.
Just so you know Tim in the past I did a of equipment moves and you always tape up the exhaust pipe up on your load when it's not running because the turbo is spinning dry no oil lubricant on the bearings that's why if it's a short move you just leave it running and that's why towtrucks through the sock on the pipe they don't want to be liable for the turbo and that noise your hereing just might be the clamp in-between cold and hot side of the turbo on your truck it almost sounds the same as my truck and it didn't loose boost much at all but it run hoter and sounded the same as yours and the bolt broke on mine but really didn't loosen up that much and spin around but that's what it was on mine to look at it looked fine when it was cold you could shake the bolt a bit other than that it looked fine. Have a great day brother.
Gosh I love your Kenworth!!
Gentry n son's. I been watching u for a while. Back in 12/99 I lost my wife.directly next to me. I actually put my head on her back. But some was off. Doctor's gave her strong medicine. Lost mine a month ago, sorry for you’re loss!
You need to add a T-bar in the neck of your trailer that reaches the sides of you truck frame with a air cylinder and control valve on the outside to raise and lower the neck.It will make it a lot easier.I used to pull one that had it.Just thought I'd share that.I hate seeing someone struggling with something when I know a easier way.Have a Blessed day
You need to make a little flip up bar. That flips up where the wood is at behind your fist will. I've seen some of the old timers have Pizza metal flips up to the right height
That loader has good rubber all around. 👍
Great video even though you worked your ass off witch I know you do every day for your family good job 👏
Man i love that K-Wopper makes me wanna be a trucker just to drive that thing!!
Hey brother I run a 2013 Volvo 120g 6 days a week. You got a awesome loader .
You’re coming through my hometown in this video. Good ole 411 and Chatsworth.
Hi hope y'all have fun
Pretty cool seeing a big KZreadr video going through your town
I’m heavy haul driver in the wind division and I pull 19, 13, 9, and 8 axles I keep trailer chained from neck to deck.
Nice video Tim have a great day my friend greetings from Portugal Lisbon
Make a set of frame rail ramps and then get a good 4x6 or 4x8 to set the neck on so you don't have to fight it so much. It'll make life so much easier
Hi Tim; The low boy has a very funny system of hitch.
Yay Tim, you got windshield wiper on the W900 !
Love it! hit I-85 N ext 140. If ever this way and need anything just shout. Meet you there.lol Keep on Trucking enjoy watching Keep up the great content.
GREAT VIDEO GUYS !! ❤️🤍💙🇺🇸🇺🇸
Excellent video Tim
Check you headbolts and anything seeping from under the heads. Since you jacked it up a broken headbolt will make that sound. A exhaust leak should be simple to find if thats it.
Great job, Tim! You must be "wore" out after all that booming and duck walking!
Hi Tim watching videos of you hauling heavy equipment makes me wish I could pass a physical and get my CDL back and drive again I loved driving even being able to do a ride along would make me happy. I have family that drive semi's only thing they never get close enough to where I live for me to go and ride with one of them or the company won't allow a rider I do miss it.
Next time you haul equipment and the exhaust is pointed towards the wind . Tape it off with ductape or something . Wind ain't good for that turbo
❤️❤️❤️ Gentry and Sons
hi Gentry your videos are inspired and I might thinking of becoming a truck driver
Love your content, always fun to watch, i truck up here in western canada, and i was wondering why you didn't cross chain both the front and back of the loader?? or why you didn't chain it down either in the center as i do believe it turns/pivots via hydraulic steering in the center of the frame...
Gentry&sontrucking It sounds like your W9 head gasket is Leaking that's what noise my N14 made when it blew the head gasket out! Mine torched out the middle head cause I ignored it and cost me a head I'd do a cylinder leak down test on that asap before you torch the head or the block
The old KW would look mighty fine with a nice headache rack on it boss.
My last ride was a w900 limited edition, studio sleeper, 725 😸 18sp 373gears cut back to 98mph.
Looks like Brax has a new toy to build mega jumps on the farm for his razor 🤠🤠. Hopefully you can find a good deal on a hydraulic lowboy to make loading easier.
Great content thanks for sharing
I am going to be in Nashville on the 19th. I am transporting a Beagle puppy from Missouri to it's new human (owner). Wish I had more money for fuel, I would love to swing by Sweetwater and meet all of you!
Cajun lady has amazing food. Dinner bell also in sweetwater.
I pulled mechanical RGN now I pull a hydraulic detachment I never slide my fith plate Have your fifth plate farther forward. You have lots of room to turn I think it would help keeping your neck up when split.
That's the job I loved the most 💕 I drove a triple axle international with a Cat and 18/ triple axle low boy 💪 Since you're hauling oversized you should get an easier set up 🤙
very good ill call the office on Monday
Can you move that fifth wheel up a little bit for that block and lay on the frame in the toung don't hang so low you don't have to use blocks on the trailer it's designed to lay flat on the ground and then you can dump the air on the axles where will they flat
Nice trailer!!
🤔 yep, better think bout updating that back breaking lowboy trailer. 😉 Not getting any younger. Nor are those disc in ya back. I'm sure lots out there know what I'm talkin bout 💪😉👍💯
C'MON MAN you know that trailer ain't right. It's time to step your trailer game up. You know Heavy D would float you a loan. Get you a new shiny one
Gah dang bud you got your but handed to ya where was the help on this one you Def worked for this one
Cover the exhaust when hauling equipment backwards.
Tim, love the videos. Camera quality seems to be better but, only issue I’ve noticed the past couple videos is anytime you’re filming anything outside or anywhere with bright lighting the contrast is way off and you can see anything on a screen.
I know a Volvo fan who can put this wheel loader to good use. Hope he watches your channel. Letsdig18. Lovely machine.
Need to have your welder weld up in an alignment block so that thing will slide together nice and tight and you ain't have to work so damn hard to put the nose back on that drop deck trailer

Why not a Hydraulic low boy instead of a RGN?

There all rgn powered or not if the neck comes off r=removable g= goose n=neck If he had a 4"X8"X4' block instead of 4 blocks he wouldn't have that much trouble unhooking and hooking back up
That trailer dangerous be safe tim hope and pray you get a new one soon
@danielseelye6005

The trailer's fine. He just needs to operate it better. - One big block under the gooseneck that stretches across the frame rails to support it. - Have the fifth wheel slid up so the neck will rest more on the frame and be level instead of sloping down. - Having the trailer flush to the ground instead of resting on blocks. I know he's new to the RGN but he needs to get a better understanding of the equipment.
