We are the first to try out XPG's NIA Handheld Console. Prototype Hands On!
We were able to check, first worldwide, on XPG’s new handheld console, called NIA!
We bumped into our friend who happened to have the first and only working prototype of NIA, so we opted for a short hands on.
Price close to 500 dollars, good specs and highly usable at least during the short testing time.

This is sick! Open-sourcing the chassis and pinouts will go a LONG way with community modding support. Imma be all up on this thing as soon as it hits the KS.
Those are some seriously impressive specs. I'm not big on gaming on the go, but with this kind of hardware it might become compelling enough. Especially if they can deliver "as close to as possible" to that price.
Nice to see other players in this field
More competition never hurt anyone. :-)
huh, neat. modularity is always good stuff, and didn't expect to hear Adata offering something into this market.
the fact that they made the RAM as well as the storage easily user accessible is definitely unusual I like the hinged screen, if it manages to support different angles it'd be fantastic I only noticed a single USB-C port, that's the one thing that always bothered me with my steam deck
Nobody knew Aris, this is the first time I've heard of it!!

I happened to bump into my friend, who had on him the first working prototype. I didn't know about it either.
Great, thank you !!!
Great to see this I would love to see 8inch which they can do with that screen with no bezels.
That looks epic and a great price
I guess the camera can be used to track the user's eyes and only render in full resolution where he looks. This way performance can be increased without sacrificing visuals much.

aye, Eyetracking for Variable Resolution most likely. though it's going to be outside of the game rather than an internal feature, so... the Latency penalty and slow reaction to new Frames/data seems like quite the hurdle...

That's called Foveated Rendering, though it's mostly used in high-end PC VR and the PSVR2 headsets. Using that on a small flat screen is overkill though.
I like that the screen tilts up. But the bezels are too much. Please copy the legion go screen. And keep the weight down.
I understood maybe 1/3 of what Aris was saying.
👍👍👍👍
please let it have another usb c port with thunderbolt function
windows without touchpad? its like a gameboy without controlls 😂😂😂 bye kewls passing it
