how could i not hit subscribe after seeing this. love your attitude, keep it up dude!
I literally live in a next country across the water and getting an B series ecu where I'm from is near impossible, this set up will be great for my daily B series civic, all I want is to get from point A-B and have some weekend fun with A/C to, the funds is my problem as usual but I'll definitely keep this in mind
Still the best intro on KZread!!!
Hella Dope video; love how you're sporting the Speedfactory hoodie,That's Wassup!! 😎

Congrats on 100k subs papi. Kenny!!!
Glad I saw this video...was looking for something to run my engine once its finished, and it came down to the Hondata and the 750 series Haltech. More inputs, better overall control and hall sensor control was what I was looking for, but when doing the quick maths on it...The Hondata with everything I wanted was going to come out somewhere between 900-1400usd. And while it may of been cheaper if deals were found, the Haltech is just better all around. Agree 1000% with what is being said in this video and thanks for posting it!

I'm in the same boat, just under 2k CAD for myself kpro v4, almost 2k for a piggyback is crazy i think, I'm thinking haltech 750 is a better option long run, going to be K20z1 turbo street/summer car .. 400 hp ish
Awesome video great job
Great vid, thanks. Do you guys still build b series turbo kits or just mainly focusing on k series?
Ill be running my dw twin pumps off a switch panel anyways. Go Kenny. Kenny te quiero mucho 😢❤. Jumper harness is 🔥. Haltech ftw. Ill be running boost solenoid and tach on my 550 that's it. I dont have iacv, vtc or vtec solenoid. My k24 is locked.
Thanks for information
Let’s go!!
AYYYY WHAT A PHUCK'N DAY HUMBLE HIT 100K JUST ANOTHER DESERVED ACCLAIM FOR ALEX PAGAN AN THE WHOLE HP TEAM💯💯💯🙏🏾👏🏾
I dumped $$$ for the 2500 Elite into my 98 Accord. Don’t regret it one bit.
Great breakdown and explanation Kenny. Wanna buy my FuelTech 450? Lol
You should also push the Haltech CAN gauge.. it’ll be the only gauge one will ever need.,
Posting up my KPro for sale right now 😂
I wanna replace my kpro, so will this setup work in a em2 with k20a type-r? I'll most likely need a different jumper?
Does this offer only last so long or if I finish the car say in 2 years will I still get the base map and tuning videos ?
If i'm understanding this correctly. The 1500 can essentially do everything that oem/kpro ecu can do and that its future proof as in I can later turbo charged and not worry all from a plug and play part? With this 1500, I can just plug it in to my stock car right away and daily it without problems all while retaining everything about it? I've been wanting an ecu to have before i start doing bolt ons.
Is this like the TerminatorX of the Honda world ? I love my terminator stand alone but would like something similar for my Honda .
Is the haltech 550 better the kpro ?
I already have an Elite 750 ECU, so all I need to purchase is your Haltech Elite K - series adapter for 549? For 05 rsx type S, Thanks guys 🙏
this must be the case in the US. Kpro is still cheaper in the uk, Would have been great if the prices were fairly close , this way haltech in a no brainer
Who do you all remote dyno tune with in the dmv area?
i have a 87 porsche 911 that i am putting a k20a2 in. no harness at all for either engine or car so obviously starting fresh. I feel like a ecu is good starting point then harness/plugs/circuits. whats a good option/s if planning to first utilize stock engine power but probably turbo down the road?? thx!
amazing
Does the 550 pnp kot come with the jumper harness for the k harness. I have a 96-98 civic
I planning on going merc racing supercharged . Can you boost control a supercharger?
Will the eilte 550 work for 97 prelude with the h

Does this thing have throttle blip feature?
How would buy this but for a b series ? It doesn't show up on the link shared, also is something in the making for the fueltech ??
If I had and questions about Wiring a test stand to run a k series engines, could you help me?I'm sure there's a way I could use a stock ecu and and immobilizer with key. I just don't know what all would have to be hooked up for the engine to run and not be in limp mode and what ECUs are compatible with what blocks.
I haven't been around in a while pero diablooo el cabello looks nice bro, no homo
I need ECU that well work with timing crank wheel in a K24Z3
you're actually better off with a Haltech 1500 or FueLTech 550.. Save a lil bit longer, add a couple more dollars and get those 2 instead. everything else is either go with OEM, or go all out standalone.. everything in the middle.. you're getting nickel and dimed left and right TBH .. You're going to need all the inputs and outputs sooner or later. Better to have it available when you don't need and not have it. Then having to repurchase the next level one. Buy it once and you won't have to buy it again.

What makes the haltech 550 a piggy back like k pro or s300? From what I see the 550 is not installed into an oem unit to allow it to be tuned which would make it a full standalone… this is for guys building a basic street car that don’t need all the extra sensor inputs.

“If you were going to buy a KPro, get a 550/750, if you were going to get a stand-alone, get a 1500” encapsulates everything you just said. 550/750 isn’t in the middle. It’s cheaper than KPro and better. KPro is the middle in this regard.

Whats recommended for AllMotor B ?
@duanebailey6253
7 ай бұрын
Don't will take a ton of money. Easier for a simple turbo b. If you really want a na build go k. Cams pistons and bolt ons get you around 300. Lucky to get 230 in a b. The head flow on a K is almost double the B.
Out of curiousity, how does the haltech compare to the fuel tech setups?

They will be the same. Use whatever your tuner likes.
@joshr8680

@humbleperformance
7 ай бұрын
They’re not the same fundamentally. FT is an injection timing based computer. Haltech is a volumetric efficiency ecu. FT is only really preferred by tuners who don’t understand the advantages of VE. Fueltech is a great drag racing ecu. But for a huge number of reasons, haltech is a better street car ecu. That’s not to say fueltech can’t be used in a street car, but you’re missing a lot using it.
@teego473
7 ай бұрын
This is the same conclusion i came to after going with a ft550 for my b13 sentra. I love the FT, dont be mistaken. But for a street car, Haltech is laid out better. Its mainly from the list of engines in the settings drop down menu. It's a good point to start from. FT is universal. No stored engine credentials. FT generates a base map off the info entered i.e: inj size, engine comp., etc. But it's nothing to depend on. You will have to alter it.@humbleperformance
@humbleperformance
7 ай бұрын
Haltech is also universal. Also VE is more or less universal as well, that’s why it doesn’t really need a base map generator. You do roughly the same thing as fueltech in the engine config and fuel setup. You can start pretty much any car with a 50% VE table across the board lol

WHY doesn't Hondata figure out how to make more K series Ecus tunable? Is it really that much work to do? Honestly I don't know much about haking factory ecu's. I do see that over time K Tuner has established more K ecus tunable such as base auto Rsx ecus and some Element ecus.
