I don't think you know how much joy you bring to your viewers. I really love the places you visit and the food you cook. And your love for each other is beautiful. I have been married for 52 years and still love my husband to bits! We were 15 and 17 when we met! Thank you so much for sharing your lives with us.

You two are so modest, but you know what you love in each other. So important. You bring so much joy, beauty, and artistry via your channel to your youtube family, and for this we are truly grateful. You inspire so many and remind us of the goodness of our humanity. Fantastic Q&A; many thanks for all you do! One of my favorite books is the series by James Herriot, "All Creatures Great and Small" that is made up of charming stories of a Scottish veterinarian practicing in the Yorkshire Dales in the 1930s. A favorite long tv series is "Upstairs, Downstairs" which predates Downton by 30 years. :-)

There is a book series by Lillian Beckwith about a lady that goes to live on Scottish Croft.The first one is called "The Hills is Lonely"So funny.

But, you both do it with such humility and kindness that it endears us even more to you. Towards the end, Joerg, you spoke of finding beauty and happiness in the smallest of things. That touched me so much, because that has been my belief for the past many years of my life. And, Kirsten, if you could see of you, what we see of you, it would be a real revelation. Now I know your both German , wow .Kirstan your English sounds British , no German accent at all Joreg has a accent. Very pleasant too . Both of you speak English better than those that speak it . I have to say that you are so right that beauty is worth looking for in the home and the great outdoors! Thank you both for sharing your precious time with us!

Kirsten, I forgot to mention that the Downton Abbey sets and costumes came to the States in exhibition at the Biltmore Hotel in Asheville North Carolina two years ago, and I was blessed to have the opportunity to see the exhibition! The costumes were simply exquisite! The craftsmanship was beyond words. I don't know if they've ever had or will have that exhibit there, but it would be absolutely worth seeing. The costumes are breathtaking!

I always stop what I am doing when you have a new video! Kirsten and Joerg - you speak English so well and are so easy to understand (saying this because it is TRUE)...loved learning more about you both. I am excited you are going to Edinburgh. My cousin lives there and I was last there at 10 (1974) and still remember looking up from the street to the castle. It was a tour I will always remember.

Just found this video. Joerg is SO right! There is beauty all around us - sometimes we just don't notice, or are looking too much at the bigger picture. eg: I was hanging out the washing in the warm spring sunshine here in NZ (after many cold days of rain) and I sighed despondently to see the many weeds invading my garden - then suddenly two of the most beautiful Monarch butterflies alighted on the flowers of some of the many carrots gone to seed. And I thought - if I hadn't been a bit lazy and allowed the carrots to go to seed - those beautiful creatures wouldn't have found that nectar in my garden. Moral of the story: There is even beauty to be found in my ramshackle garden if you overlook the bigger messy picture lol. Love your videos - much love to you both.

I’m so fascinated watching you both, I was born and raised in England, then emigrated to Australia then the USA. I miss so much of what you love, the countryside, the history and the amazing buildings. I return to visit now and then, my favorite places are Dorset, Wales, Yorkshire,Devon, Cotswolds, so many. I visited a fascinating little Island once called Caldy, there I saw an old monastery and acres of lavender, beautiful walks and beaches. I have been following you for several months now and been going back to see earlier blogs. I feel so good after watching you both. I too was born in Germany and was brought up in England but now live in Canada. I love your enthusiasm and love of the beautiful, especially old architecture. Thank you so very much for making my tea time so entertaining and comforting.

I’m so glad I found your channel. You both truly make my day! Your honesty is endearing and you are so down to earth.. Yes I also love Downton. Doc Martin is brilliant and filmed in one of the most beautiful locations. I believe there are visits to the sets. I also love the old funny classic comedies such as keeping up appearances and George and Mildred! Such a laugh! Please keep doing what you are doing.. you brighten so many of our days...Thankyou

Thanks so much! Oh yes, we love Doc Martin as well and we've been to Port Isaac a couple of times, it's so beautiful.

Oh I was so thrilled you mentioned my beautiful State as a place you would love to visit....Tasmania!!!!! As you love the great outdoors and wilderness it makes total sense to have New Zealand and Tasmania on your list. I enjoy "visiting" with you so much! I have a tendency to rush through life and your gentle, calm manner encourages me to slow down a little and take more care to enjoy the moments. My husband and I have been together for 39 years and I love to see other couples who so obviously enjoy being with each other

You are GOOD ENOUGH for what ever you want to accomplish in your life.. And you have a husband who has faith and confidence in you.. You go do what ever it is that you want to do and you will see that YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH.. I think you and your husband are wonderful as a couple..
