WCW Nitro 2001 Minnesota Massacre Match - DEADLOCK Podcast Retro Review

Ойын-сауық

It’s the first WCW Nitro of 2001! Ric Flair is the owner of WCW and we are getting ready for the WCW Sin. There is a mystery man running around and nobody knows who it is. As the episode goes on, the pieces for the main event at the ppv are falling into place. Shane Douglas fights Sid Vicious for his spot in the WCW Championship match. Schedule is Scott Steiner vs Jeff Jarrett vs Sid Vicious vs The Mystery Man! We have no idea who this mystery is! Also, Goldberg and Sarge are very upset with Kronik! If Kronik beats Goldberg his career is over! And for the first time ever we have a Minnesota Massacre Last Man Standing Match with the Natural Born Thrillers vs randomly selected opponents.

Goldberg and Sarge vs. Kronik is one of my favourite moments in Deadlock history. Do yourself a favour and look that match up, because the Meltdown that Bryan Adams hits on Goldberg sent me for about 10 straight minutes. Also, just to see how much James is not lying about the extent of how Juiceboxed Kronik are.

I remember seeing an interview with Sid about the scissors incident and apparently arn wrestled the scissors away from him and stabbed him in the stomach. So as for the sid arn fight, i think the way it was explained since then, they took both of them to the hospital because they were both covered in blood from sid stabbing arn and they didn't know whose it was so they took them both (also i think they were both fucked up drunk so the EMTs thought they were delirious from blood loss or something similar) The orndorff thing is actually crazier than it sounds, according to the wrestlers who were there, he wasn't wearing sandals, like with grip, he was wearing shower flipflops because when they were done doing pretapes and pictures he was gonna shower before the show
