Just picked it up on sale and holy moly,! The big selling point for me is that this is perfect for those of us with hearing loss due to age, improper care, and/or tinnitus. I can mix with headphones on in a proper room and despite my cruddy hearing get a great mix. It's a freaking miracle!

I like the way you presented the plugin, thanks! I tried the demo for a couple of days and I can't say that it could really help me make better mixing decisions. Also, I find it's quite heavy on the CPU so I don't think I would ever use it. I agree that Sonarworks is a better investment.

Im seeing some bad reviews about it but im in the same boat as yourself. I also use sonarworks through some dt1990s and its sounds great. sitting in front of my monitors with tracking on my brain gets completely tricked into thinking the audio is coming from my monitors. first time i loaded the plugin and pressed play I genuinely in a knee jerk reaction thought I forgot to switch to headphones. Plus I have found switching between the different speakers to be helpful, mostly in taming the bass. Quite impressed tbh.

@@CedricMialaret I have been using a webcam so far, its worth noting that its very important to setup the camera to get good fps (id say at least 30) most cameras you have to make sure you lower the exposure as low as possible so that the shutter speed stays high enough for good fps, so just turn in down and make sure you are in good lighing. Anything below 30 can mess with the tracking too much for it to be smooth. Although after being so impressed with the software, I have ordered one of the trackers which should be here monday. Ill let you know how I find it

Good presentation 🙏 I do not understand why use this plug-in? I bought it but never use it. Sounds crap! Advice: -Buy a pair of headphones that are calibrated with you speakers. This plugin you sometimes can be used to play with. It’s a toy. That goes for all plugins from Waves. They ha a nice design. But if I want to do a transparent mix I prefer other labels. Cubase got a lot included. Strongly recommended.

To me, when you turn your head too much is lost in the opposite ear. This was the case for me in both Nx as well as demoing this plugin. Sounded like it was similar for you in the video as well. I guess I just don't hear that much loss mixing through speakers (and I do have a treated room). If there was a way to dial back or tweak that aspect then I think this may be a viable tool.

Nice demo, would have liked longer clips, but I guess copyright. OK those big wall mounted monitors were amazing, I can see those coupled with that recording room would really force you to pay attention to want to control the balance of all your sound sources, I could see some instruments getting out of control pretty quickly.

To mix a full track would go beyond the purpose of the video. I wanted to cover the features and give you a sample of how it sounds, but the experience of using this varies so much depending on your equipment, head tracking settings, etc. that you really have to demo it for yourself to see if it works for your mixing workflow.

@@GreenLightSound This plugin is unique in the fact that it does nothing by itself to alter your mix. You have to use it as a monitor i.e. listen through the plug in - tweak your mix then shut it off and listen to your mix. THis is where no one on youtube has doen this even for a 1 second example. THis leads me to believe no one understands the use of this plugin.
