I immigrated here 37 years ago. I spent 10 days at the Embassy in London being screened, background checked, Xrayed, fingerprinted and questioned. One of the requirements for immigration was, you had to,speak ENGLISH!

Dawn Morris my family emigrated legally. They took English lessons before that. And they integrated. And yes, we were interviewed, had to be vaccinated, and show that we had a support group.

I've looked all through the U.S. Constitution, and for the life of me I can't find ANYTHING which requires the U.S. to take in a certain number of immigrants from ANYWHERE in the world.

Then don't address him if he ever opens his mouth. The courts made the White House let him back in, not listen to him. I'm Brazilian, a Portuguese speaking nation, and I agree with Trump. I had to learn English to survive in the US and I don't see why many other people don't want to do that.

If I wanted to emigrate to Germany, I would learn to speak German. To France, I'd learn to speak French first. To Mexico, Spanish. Now I know English is one of the most difficult languages to learn well, but not the worst. I don't think it's that high a standard to request.

The White House needs to implement a new policy in their press conferences. The reporters are welcome to ask actual questions, two per person at one time, and then move on to the next person. Acosta wants to lecture people and it steals time from actual journalists. If he can't abide by the rule of only asking questions, then he should have his credentials revoked. That in no way restricts the press or what questions they can ask, but it adds order to the process. There's no reason at all the American people should have to try to watch a press conference that's been hijacked by liberal evangelists like this who want to preach their religion to us. That's not what it's for.

We should always raise our standards and not lower them which would be self defeating and even perilously detrimental, because we live in a global market and are in competition with the world. Leadership and sound policies are needed that raise the bar will set the Gold Standard for our country and the rest of the world !!! Enough said.

I know for a fact that when you want to move to Australia, you had to have at least one year of income saved. It might be more now. That poem was put on a plaque after the Statue of Liberty was given to us. It’s a poem from a lady that raised money for the plaque.

The statute of liberty poem needs to be changed. Instead of" yearning to breath free" to "yearning redistribute the wealth of Americans that used to be free."

For a nation that is so hated by so many, there sure is a long line of people waiting to get in.
