I don't even know what to say. That was such a great cover, it's just world class. You hear ABBA, but at the same time you hear you and your style, and it fits together so beautiful. ABBA will definitely be proud of you when they hear this version.

The chord change in "history book" compared to the original is very appealing - a change from C minor to A flat major, if I heard it correctly. This is the kind of thing that someone who knows his craft does.

WOW! What a great cover to wake up to on a FriYAY!!!! It's almost become our weekly Friday morning musical party to kick the weekend off early! Who else is LOVING these 'Tommyfied' and 'Johanssonized' covers as much as I am. I really enjoy watching Tommy 'play with himself' and bring some different characterization to showing himself playing each different instrument. His natural talent and finely honed metal and overall musical sensibilities just make each new cover such a joy to listen to over and over again! Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go replay this one about another 50 times or more.....

This is my favourite thing I've seen Tommy do! It is just ridiculously energetic and catchy, a perfect arrangement/re-imagination of the ABBA classic. I'm convinced that if Tommy could get this in wide release it would be a hit. Would love to see it on the charts.

Whenever I hear this song, I think of the anniversary of my grandmother's death. When the call came in the morning that she had died, Waterloo was playing on the radio. It was like our own personal Waterloo. But that was more than 40 years ago and I've become a big girl in the meantime ☺️....but I still like this song. Tommy, thanks for this great cover - it makes me very happy. By the way: at the last Sabaton album listing you seemed very tired to me. Take care of yourself and don't work so much. ​@@Tattoolady1972 I was also a little concerned a few months ago when he seemed to have so many commitments but since leaving Sabaton I think he does have a less frantic life and he looks good. Lighting does have ways of masking any issues but the eyes always tell the truth.

A combination of ABBA and Tommy in the style. More covers should be a combination of the original style as well as the cover artist's style.

Since Waterloo was a place of a famous battle, I would not be surprised by a Sabaton-styled cover of the song :D

Blimey. This absolute classic is 50 years old, this year. And _this_ is a fitting tribute. Usually, I would beg people to _never_ cover ABBA songs, but this is a rare exception. Stunningly competent and actually "adds" something to the original. Not an easy thing to achieve. Amazing! 🎹🎤
