I love the Roses since ‘89. Was with them ever since. What held them back from a unified supremacy was the fact they really couldn’t pull off that amazing sound live. Well, Ian couldn’t. The studio helped him stay in key and find the notes. Can’t hide live. While Reni, Mani and John did their thing, Ian just couldn’t keep up. Wow....this is a surprise. I saw them live and their Telly appearances and this is by far the best I’ve heard him. Well, done Ian.

@steveeaston nice one for putting this on..great footage
Best IV heard Ian sing, was at Heaton park and Finsbury park and this sounds on a different level, sublime!!
No words the music speaks for itself 🤟🤟🤟😖😎😎😎😎

Well, it is easy for him. He's a natural musician.
Best part of my mid-late teens, this album, snogging hot guys with floppy hair, wearing flarey cords and smoking Gold Seal or Nepalese bifters
Immense roses
Excellent, Cheers amigo
STONE ROSES EUROPE ✊❤️💥
Ian looks more engaged, appreciates the crowd more.
Don't Stop really reminds me of Draft Morning by The Byrd's. Brilliant performance. Got to say Reni really holds it together. His bass playing is flawless and fluid. From the top.

What makes them special is they disappeared as quick as they arrived giving them mythical status but there influence still ripples. That is an effect that cant be replicated. They arent about being the best band in the world, but the best band your world. Music is about feeling and the roses make you feel everything
Thank you. I never realised. Play it forwards. Play it backwards. Smile.
That's the best I've heard Ian sing
The mental capacity to play something backwards effortlessly 👍

With total respect to you, do you think there will be a "professional" dvd of this entire gig? He, varying angles etc?

Next time they are playing New York msg I think they might need to do a few nights!!!

I think they did it bcs it was probably a long standing ambition of theirs' to play MSG together....bcs other than that one show it doesn't fit in with any tour ....I really doubt they'd sell MSG out over a few nights, they're not so well known over there, seriously, there's only one city they can play night after night in a big venue and its their hometown... but good on 'um - they should rightly be proud of this gig
Mani is just incredible
They were the hottest UK band `89-90.I didnt get their debut album then for my sins.I saw them in 1989 on a Boxpops tv show and thought thank f**k a proper guitar band are here again. But unfortunately they were fucked by a record company they were stuck with
Props for the Mani close ups!

It clearly was all about Reni for Reni at least, since he can't resist overplaying the fuck out of it, to the point of completely ruining the rhythm
