WOW!! Amazing. Reni absolutely smashes it on the drums here. Mani & Reni really glue together then John just goes mental like a jedi guitar master over the top. Superb performance. One of the best of this song. Very well shot as well, thank you for the upload!!

i noticed his body language and dancing is also different in the ny gig, more like old ian. madison square garden is a smaller basketball arena, i think the roses sound better in smaller to mid sized arenas than the huge stadiums.

Not having to compete against 60,000 people in the UK belting the songs out probably helps. Nothing wrong with this per se but because the Americans lack of familiarity with the stuff you can clearly see/hear Ian and he can obviously hear himself.

Hate to say anything negative about these guys, I really love them, esp Reni the magnificent, but Ian is veering a little too close to the Bez look, and that's not a good thing. But the band sound beautiful.

The old bitch...Elizabeth nearly outlasted The Stone Roses. What happened to Mani? He's still a great bass player but he used to be such a mover. I saw them in 1989 in Belfast and he was the one to watch! Never stood still for a second. Swinging his Rickenbacker like a dangerous weapon.

Here's an unpopular opinion--Brownie's voice was terrible at this gig. I'm curious to know if that why the band called it a day.
