Such asmr I got from your watercolor tutorial.I really like walking when it’s peaceful winter and I’m so relaxed and sleepy and I clear my mind do well.I love it.
I am such a beginner but your tutorials have been so helpful. Thank you for being so patient with all the small details, paints and brushes.
I am so glad you don’t have a Patreon account. Those who do just give off an attitude of only sharing their best secrets if you pay. And maybe that’s ok, but I think it comes across as terribly crass. So thank you for sharing your expertise here!
One of my favourites Shelley! Thanks once again. You’re an excellent teacher and your help is much appreciated 🙏🏼.
Thank you very much for this detailed and inspiring video! I was desperately trying to paint some trees in the snow and now I have learned a lot about it! ❤

Beautiful, another fantastic tutorial, thank you
One of the best tutorials I've seen and I've seen hundreds so thank you
Thanks!
Water coloring painting to me, seems like it could test the artists patience at times, what with needing the right balance of water/paint, it varies for different needs.

You are THE BEST, Shelley! I watch tons of excellent artists and you are not only the best teacher, but your works of art are consistently superb.
Best watercolor tutorial I’ve seen yet! Great instruction and beautiful paintings. ♥️
I use a similar method..only use that paper..love it
Thank you, Shelley. This has been an absolutely wonderful tutorial.
Awesome tutorial, Thank you !
Amazing tutorial, as always, thank you
Thanks for this video! I paint my whole life and love to learn something new every day! 😄☀💞
Thank you Shelley. Wonderful demo!
Love the tip on round removable stickers! Why didn’t I think of that 😂❤
Amazing, you explain it so well. Thank you from the Netherlands.
Like the rounding of the trees ( card 1 ), good pics. Like how simple techniques = good results. Thanks
You can use some raw sienna or even burnt as when bitrxh bark peals it has that tone under the bark. For the shade of curvy bark you can add payne's gray with touch of sienna under it. Go into the woods and see it yourself. But also silver birch is kind of different then regular one. It has more light cool blue to it as well and thinner bark.
I love your paintings and explanations of techniques. I have decided to make small cards to insert with my Christmas cards. I'm in Dunedin Florida 😊. Not much snow here but I grew up in Ohio
This is one of my favorites, Shelley!! I look forward to your videos every week!! Thanks for sharing your incredible talent and knowledge!!
Thank you so much! I’ve learned a lot today, you’re are a wonderful teacher. I’ve never missed any of your classes and I’m glad because I’m a better artist because of it. ❤❤❤
Shelly, Thank you so much. these were such lovely cards to make and to send.
So glad I found you. Thank you
Beautiful paintings and tutorials! They look like photos! You are a wonderful watercolor teacher!
Love this learned so much thank you
A lot harder than it looks to lay down the blue and get those trees in there, making sure to not have too much color in your brush. I think I'll get it on the third try. Thanks Shelley, these are some great snow scenes for us neophytes. You are very much appreciated for all the gifts you are giving us. Merry Xmas.
They are so simple and so beautiful 🎉Thank you Shelley! 💐
This is amazing! Please do snowy mountains for us too💕💕💕💕💕🤣🤣🤣

Thank you so much Shelly ❤. I was always daunted by any kind of landscape but loved painting these and so encouraged by how they turned out
Thank you for such lovely winter Christmas cards… you have simplified and made these look easier than the finished paintings look. I can’t find the thank you button to donate for this tutorial. I feel it was there during the live viewing but is not there now. 🙏🏼🎨✨💕 I live in Australia and the live tutorial is after midnight and I am not so alert then.
Loved this! I got carried away and mine is a spooky array of sunset colours and shadows but it looks amazing! Thanks 😁
I just subscribed, I love watercolors but don't have the best luck doing them. This wonderful video gives me inspiration! Thank you!

This was a perfect tutorial for the time of year, with a lot of good tips! The tip about painting trees obscured by intense sun backlighting is so helpful! And I see you avoided moonshine like last year!😉
This is a super tutorial. Thank you❤

I’ve tried and failed epically… I wasn’t patient enough to wait the drying time. Trying again tomorrow.

Should you be too impatient to wait for your paint to dry , you can always use a hair blower to dry it quickly , then proceed...
Lovely tutorial! Where can I find the round palette that is shown in this video? Thank you Shelly.

Unfortunately this Speedball Color Wheel palette has been discontinued but is quite similar to the Stephen Quiller palette
I am always afraid to mail my watercolour cards without putting them inn a plastic sleeve. Do you spray your cards with fixative before mailing them? I've had my mail arrive wet many times. Thanks Shelley

You could try rubbing some cold wax medium (Dorlands) on them to make them water-repellent
What kind of sticker do you use? They look beautiful!! Thank you!

I have a few favourites but not one that is well above another. Mostly I’m using squirrel hair round brushes (Biaelk travel brushes or Danaiyw). I use synthetics for detail, flat or fan brushes (assorted makes)
QUESTION : You added the permanent rose with the blue and then it showed hints of the pink on it's own am I correct ?? Or did you add the permant rose on it's own ??
@shelleypriorfineart

It usually separates slightly on it’s own. I didn’t mix the colours too thoroughly on my palette either. Permanent rose on its own would be much too pink. It’s a mix but varies between being slightly more pink or blue which I like.
Where do I find the Round palette?🙏🏻

The round palette I’m using has been discontinued but it’s a lot like the Stephen Quiller palette
My colors kept blending in the big trees.
