Water Memory (2014 Documentary about Nobel Prize laureate Luc Montagnier)

Ғылым және технология

Water is the key element of life, but new information is coming to light on the element which we thought we were so familiar with: information which could potentially reimagine our tree of life.
That is the belief shared by the advocates of a surprising theory called "water memory". For Prof. Luc Montagnier, water has the ability to reproduce the properties of any substance it once contained. Water would have the ability to retain a memory of the properties of the molecules.
What if Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, autism, HIV and even cancer could be treated thanks to this controversial theory?

I believe that you don't know much about Luc Montagnier :/ He is really not great and more a search thief that researcher. I would advise you to have a look at how he robbed Jean-Claude Chermann form the Nobel prize. Besides Jacques Benveniste is considered a crook in the Scientific environment because he could reproduce the experiment about water memory only in his lab with his team. It has never been reproduced outside of their environment. This is just sensationalism and playing on the credulity of people. Don't get tricked.

Gotta second that, Bonys Adnan; sadly, Emoto FAILED TO REPLICATE his results. The city I live in created public art displays that amplified the debunked concepts in Emoto's book. It was frustrating to have seen Emoto's slippery claims being touted publicly -- flimsy-at-best notions largely propped-up by the cities art-funds' boni fides -- being palmed-off on this self-proclaimed progressively-educated PDX populate i'm a part of. Earlier I said "sadly" because, at first part of me found the notions contained in Emoto's book entertaining and romantic, guess I still do in certain ways.

My personal Observation on the Memory of Water: I worked in the penthouse of a building on the shore of Miami Beach. The ocean conditions that morning were ‘glassy’ . No wind ; no swell. The ocean was as calm as a lake. There was a kayaker paddling along the shore, and the low angle of the sun struck the water to outline a clear distinction between the particular line the kayaker made in the water and the rest of the ocean. More than an hour had passed and that line the kayak made in the water was still visible.

If water can remember a DNA or RNA molecule and under certain conditions replicate it, then, water may be the contributing factor in replicating simple life forms. It would then be just a matter of the DNA or RNA coming into contact with the raw materials to build a cell. It would also be the reason life had its origins in the oceans and the origin of mitosis.

Isn't it strange that rather than trying to replicate an experiment, people who call themselves scientist will attack someone based on their imagination, what is or isn't possible. And the call themselves rational thinkers and are convinced of it too. This is maybe the best example why you can't always trust something just because a scientist said it and why we still have much to learn.

Reminds me of the Celtic tale of "The Quest of the Children of Tuireann" in how the stones that the sons of Tuireann used to kill Cian cried out in despair to Lugh of the Long Arm about how they were used to slay his father. "Crying out in despair" tells to me that the stones were imbued with the negative energies of a vicious execution. Maybe the old stories have some truth to them that we can't seem to find anywhere else right now. Many cultures have interesting oral traditions and stories that most likely hold truths in them you can rarely find anywhere else. Most of all I recommend reading the Bible and associated apocrypha!

This also fits the Buddhist Perspective on Existence. All within All. It was also shown that the brain doesn't store information in a particular location, but distributes it's throughout the whole. You all think this "water memory" is knowledge? More like total malarkey. I could sum up multiple of reasons why the experiment on minutes 5-15 is critically flawed. Yet, what baffles me most is that this renowned Nobel laureate does not seem to know how to design a structurally sound scientific experiment. Just mindblowing... For anyone who is curious on the reasons why: -(setup) DNA floats around in the air and gets into the tubes. In the room you are in there are countless skin particles with YOUR dna flying around. Also your pets, possibly plant dna among bacterial dna, viral dna etc. So not being in an extremely well controlled airtight room invalidates their experiment. This should have been done in a vacuum. -(noise surpression) There is no meaningful theory behind a mechanism WHY the water has memory. Electromagnetic signals of a single molecule are impossible to detect in such a (electrically) noisy lab environment. Their computers would disturb the findings, their hands would, their watches would, their walking, their speech would, every single movement would influence the findings and drown it with electrical noise. Anyone who has worked with sensitive electronic measurement equipment knows this. But the worst and most glaring error is in the statistics: -(statistics) A succes rate of 2 out of 10 is not statistically better than chance (just over 5% chance that the experiment 'proves' anything). It would have been better if he had to guess 10 "dna touched" ones and another 10 "untouched" ones and then check the outcomes. Then still, for a 98% confident proof that water has memory, he should correctly identify 15 or more out of the 20! These findings are horribly inconclusive. Do a 2 week stats class and calculate for yourself. If anything, this experiment proves a severe case of Nobelitis😂

They also only transmitted the ones that where deemed to be carrying the memory and not the ones that weren't , i suspect they would have gotten the sae results . To me, one of the most remarkable aspects of water is that besides being important to life in general, it's also an excellent solvent. It can dissolve many different kinds of molecules. So, if it can retain a 'memory' of what it dissolved -- however briefly -- then possibly that will explain how life began in the first place. Hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe and a major component of water, so anywhere there's oxygen then there can be water. And wherever there is water there can be life however microscopic and/or simple. Life necessarily evolves if given ample time and the proper conditions. Simple organisms evolve into higher forms of life. I believe that to be true anywhere in the universe where the proper conditions exist. It's the rule, not the exception. The universe is vast, ancient, and in constant flux. That means movement. Matter and energy have gone through many different phases since the beginning. Eventually, various substances like chemicals came into existence. It's not hard to imagine that life was not far behind. Once life took root, it must have traveled, evolved, and changed over time too. Giant planets with abundant water must have come and gone leaving behind chunks of debris, many of which became comets that are known to contain water. It's not a stretch to consider that they might also contain living organisms, or molecules important to produce simple lifeforms capable of surviving the harsh conditions of space in frozen form during the eons of time until that comet collides with a planet, like earth, that is not only capable of sustaining life but allows it flourish. Scientists have concluded that water on earth has come from many sources, and it's obvious that it's also come from outer space. Thus many molecules have been introduced to it during its passage through time and space. The origins of simple organisms being created in water due to some unknown process of memory retention do not seem that much of a stretch to me. Water exists. Life exists. Humans exist. Humans came from water. Humans need water to exist. Memory exists. Humans have memory, as do all lifeforms no matter how simple, therefore, all memory came from water. I'm sure somebody will tear apart my simple logic but I will still maintain that without water there wouldn't be any memory at all present in the universe. That's why people are thirsty for knowledge! 🤩😎

Well said and analized. My gut tells me you are on the right track. However... Your last sentence is not true. Most people are NOT curious and very bored to understand and examine the why's, the when's, the who's. They are mostly interrested only in sex, food, and other things, just to exist. My experiences are, most people give a damn about to know how things work and why we humans, plants, oceans, animals and other lifeforms even exist and how. Thank you for your post. YOU are curious. I am curious about so many things and i am thirsty to just know how things work and so on and on and on. So, this video's are a blessing.

This is just quackery though. In January 2009, Luc Montagnier, the Nobel Laureate virologist who led the team that discovered the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), claimed (in a paper published in a journal that he set up, which seems to have avoided conventional peer review as it was accepted three days after submission) that the DNA of pathogenic bacteria and viruses massively diluted in water emit radio waves that he can detect.[37] The device used to detect these signals was developed by Jacques Benveniste, and was independently tested, with the co-operation of the Benveniste team, at the request of the United States Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. That investigation was unable to replicate any effects of digital signals using the device.

It is both interesting and ironic to see this clip, knowing from my early science career that when Montagnier initially discovered HIV and soon followed by Gallo in NCI, Duesberg from Berkely started to suspect that HIV cannot explain the clinical courses of AIDS. HIV-AIDS quickly took over and became the dogma of the therapy, and Duesberg was quickly bashed into trash. Years later Lo from Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in the US spent a decade to identify a new strain of mycoplasma, Mycoplasma incognitus, from AIDS patients. Although this mycoplasma was never adopted by the mainstream AIDS research and was investigated in other diseases it is associated with, all these pieces of information, in my opinion, are either indirectly or tangentially converging to the possibility that AIDS (which we already knew that it is a collection of syndromes/diseases) has more than one factor/agent (that is, the HIV) playing roles in it. For example, Mycoplasma incognitus is an agent that can invade the RBC just like what the EM image shows here. That goes very well with why Montagnier started to look into the possible link of mycoplasma to AIDS in the 90s as well.

And that is why "research" like this is so dangerous. People like yourself would rather believe either cherry picked pieces of real studies, or pseudoscience, combines with distrust of The Man instead of genuine science. I say show me double blind tests published in respectable journals, and you guys either point to the one redacted paper that was very obviously bogus and never should have been published, or you shout that it is all a big conspiracy. We can all agree that Pharma companies are evil AF, but that doesn't change genuine science STILL disproving nearly all "alternative Medicine". (With the exception of a few things like SOME herbal medicine and massage, and the underappreciated science of nutrition) There is SO much money to be made, do you really think that if a company selling some alternative remedy could publish a paper proving it works they wouldn't do it? They would become the number one brand and make billions. They don't, because they can't, because this is all just nonsense. Anti-vaxxers are correct that their movement is gaining strength though, and we have the resurgence of several diseases to thank you all for because you would rather listen to David "Avocado" Wolfe than thousands of people with medical degrees.

Many years, decades even, ago there was a story involving what were then called micro insertions of chemicals to water. I was interested because in a high school biology course the teacher had a test tube of what looked liked clear water. It included "trace elements" that would provide a positive addition to our simple plant/light experiments. These helped sustain healthy growth of the plants we were using. So, while searching, in those pre-Internet days, information about these trace elements. Among the stories of them being catalysts and minor components of critical internal chemistry (essentially plant vitamins). One story, which I almost ignored, involved someone's experiments with baterium (in Canada, as my fuzzy memory suggests). He observed the reaction to bacterial cells with the trace substance and then searched for a threshold minimum amount. He got to the place, as described in these water memory studies, where the water was so diluted that he could not detect, much less measure, the originially introduced trace substance--but the effect on the bacteria continued. He concluded that this was a fluke and asked for others to try the experiement because he had obviously done something wrong because the dilution was impossibly too great to have any reasonable cause for the continued reaction results he got. I wonder how many others also accidently brushed against this water memory phenomenon.

It is interresting what you mention here btw for another subject. In my country homeopathy is considered by the scientists, and so on as a quack. Because some scientists concluded that in the solution is nothing there to SEE with their test methods. So nothing is there. With this video i think, that they are wrong. Homeopathy is a dilution of molecules, but not detectable, so they think it is a quack and there is nothing in there. But i know people who say homeopathy works on their dogs, babies, toddlers and so on. This dogs and babies, toddlers have no perception of placebo i guess. I guess it is not all in their head. Right? So i come to the conclutlsion that homeophaty is not quackery after all. Thanks to this video and your post.

I remember hearing of a study a while back where they grew a bunch of corn plants in individual containers. They put most the containers together in a group, and put a few controls off to the side, each by themselves. Some of the controls went unwatered. They also picked one corn plant within the group that did not receive water. They watered the rest of them normally. The watered plants grew normally and healthily. The controls placed outside of the group that didn't receive water wilted and eventually died. However, the one corn plant within the group that didn't receive water seemed to thrive along with its peers. Nobody has any idea why. They thought it might be due to chemical signaling among the plants. Now, I wonder if it has something to do with water memory. Maybe the healthy plants were able to transmit some sort of information or even energy to the unwatered one. Who knows?

Christine, I am under the care of a naturopath who does bioscans, reading through the heart what pathogens are present in my body. I think she must use technology similar to this. The info is transmitted to a lab that customizes water with signaling in it to kill the pathogens. It helps me tremendously. (Of interest - she told me one of the scans showed bubonic plague. I was surprised. Yes, she said, the plague is still around.

In the years following publication, multiple supervised experiments were run by Benveniste's team, the United States Department of Defense, BBC's Horizon programme, and other researchers, but no team has ever reproduced Benveniste's results in controlled conditions.

Interestingly, the knowledge which is very common is seen as a fascinating science in the west. We use the science of water memory in various rituals and practices.

@@neneodonkor The "Gospel of John". Read the 1st paragraph of the St. James Bible. In the original Greek - "word" was "sound" - "In the Beginning was the word (sound)", or vibration of the string theorized by the Quantum Mechanics, then come Life, then comes Light. A nice theory, like so many of the Bible stories. Perhaps the vibration led to life (god), which led to light. Perhaps life, which we have found everywhere we have looked, 35,000' deep in the Oceans, within the crystals of the New Mexico caves, within the boiling waters of Yosemite - they're called "extremeophiles" I think. The stars may be "alive" - which led to light. Who knows!

Here is a profound thought that I had while watching this; yeah we can heal with frequencies, but can't we also make one sick? So now, who is in charge of what frequencies we get; and how much to certain frequency bands cost? If we gather enough information about how to craft frequencies, we could treat or ail anything. Think about that.

I get where your coming from, but it is my belief that faith/God ect and science are adversaries.. science attempts to explain how everything came about. We in the know. Know how it came about. Godda created it.. knowledge was the original sin.. the ability to know right from wrong. And too that, look at how wrong science is.. interbreeding different animals, creating poison to inject into people, when God created a perfectly functioning immune system. To me, I'll stuck with God, because practically everything I see from science is anti God.
