all right guys, here in Brazil more precisely in Curitiba, we are replacing the iron water pipe mainer with pvc, big hug

We use a rock drill in the winter if there is a lot of frost and it's not obvious where the issue is really at. Sometimes the failure is 100 feet down the road. So we locate the pipe in all directions and drill through the frost (I've seen our 4 ft. bit not go through all the way) until we get a nice flow. Then we confirm with our ground mic. We water guys are a hearty group, no one ever wants to work in our dept!! Good job guys!

We've kinda did the same procedure with the hammer for situations where the water is pushing under asphalt as well! Poke a few holes and see where it comes out the most. Leaks can definitely lead you in a wild goose chase! Thanks as well!

@@lidsman2221 We've had 9 breaks so far this year! I have recorded what I could of them and will get some edited asap. Been an unusually busy year at work so far. Have a few other projects as well at work and after the day job I'll be getting together as well.

Crappy job to do on the best of days, but the sub zero temps really suck. Great hard working crew.👍

I like that you have reflective clothes, looks more professional. That weather is to cold to work in but I guess you don’t get to choose.

Enjoyed you video. Stay warm here in Saskatchewan we've had a bit of a break in the cold but last night -20 could be worse.

Don't know it's official name but we call it a chain cleaner. Just metal flaps on links.
