This movie was like watching a whole omnibus edition becoming an epic movie experience. Simply phenomenal.

That's Martian Manhunter / Jonn Jonzz. Seventh most powerful founding member of the Justice League of America. He is incredibly powerful at the level of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman. He has mostly Martian superpowers and psychic in nature. Great combatant and shapeshifter too. He is also one of my favorites DC characters. Overall ZSJL is a MASTERPIECE ❤

This movie is always a fresh breath of superhero cinematic aesthetic. Colors, cinematography, the slow mo shots.... Pristine! This movie is so renaissance-like in terms of motion picture. Man of Steel had the theme of "Fathers." It was Clark's biological father, and his earthly one. Batman v Superman had a "Mothers" theme. It is what connected Batman to Superman, which allowed him to see the humanity in him. And Zack Synder's Justice League is about family, which each character having broken home, but finding a family in each other.

I think people forget that Wonder Woman also has super speed because they don’t really show it like that but that moment with flash and him pushing her sword back to her she grabbed it which mean she saw him move that fast

Thank God someone else said it. People ignore this fact a lot that Wonder Woman in some comics is also considered a speedster. She was able to keep up with Jesse Quick another member of the flash family. Able to stop Zoom when he was moving pretty fast. Then as a bonus she get her godspeed powers from the Greek God Of Speed, Hermes.

Snyder's JL is one of the ABSOLUTE GREATEST SUPERHERO MOVIES OF ALL TIME!

A few things about your thoughts on "resurrection" and "time-travelling". It was not mentioned in the movie but, like in the comics and what was implied at the end of BvS, Clark isn't really dead. He was just sort of in a comatose stasis. It is possible that he's also a Kryptonian and with the Codex (from MoS) infused within his cells. So he's kind of a special one of a kind being, possibly allowing him to be "resurrected" by the Mother Box. Consequences of time-travelling was initially planned to be explored further down the line in future movies (explained in the next section of my comment), and especially in The Flash movies. Unfortunately, Zack Snyder's storylines and universe are discontinued. There will be no more Justice League movies from this continuity. But I'll try to explain things and tied up confusing ends for you, in a "spoilery" kind of way (gathered from interviews and released concept arts/sypnosis). These WILL NOT spoil any other released or in-production DCEU films. - All the premonitions Bruce and Victor have had in BvS and in this movie are going to happen in the future. - In the planned JL2 movie, Darkseid army will invade Earth. Lois will die because Batman failed to save her. Clark then is traumatized and vulnerable, susceptible to being mind-controlled by Darkseid using the "Anti-Life Equation". This brings the apocalyptic future of Earth that will unfold in the planned JL3. - What's left of the heroes (also with aid of villains) then send Barry travelling back in time to prevent Lois' death and fix things. Initially Barry made a mistake and went too far back to BvS. Hence why in that film, Barry said "Am I too soon? I'm too soon". - Their effort and mistake didn't help to prevent the apocalyptic future. This timeline is the one actually happening in the movies (BvS and ZSJL). Hence why when they resurrect Clark, Victor saw a premonition and the ship said "The future has taken route in the present". - However, back to the apocalyptic future. This time around during preparation for Barry travelling back in time to fix things. Bruce (recalling BvS) now realized that Barry will make a mistake, travelling to an incorrect point in time, he corrected the mistake. Barry now travelled to the correct event and warned Bruce in which Bruce then sacrificed his life to prevent Lois' death. Clark leads the Justice League, humans, Atlanteans and warriors of Thesmycira in defeating Darkseid and his army. - Lois gave birth to Clark's son. They named him Bruce in honor. - The cinematic universe will then "ends" in the proceeding The Flash's movie, "Flashpoint". Where Barry now tries to go even further back in time to prevent his mother's death, causing irrepairable disruptions to the timelines resulting in a cinematic reboot. Supposedly with completely fresh new casts and stories. Love your vids, reactions and thoughts. You usually seems to be more insightful regarding characters' arcs, impact, and their state of mind than any other reactors out there. Keep it up!

Watching Wonder Woman saving the all team is amazing, she is being worried for every single one, but she is not in her full capacity, she is the only one in that team who can rival Superman!

The alien who pretended to be Martha is the Martian ManHunter who disguise himself to be General Swanswick in human form. He was there doing the events of Man of Steel but chose not to get involved helping the Justice League till the end of this movie. Superman was the only one who knew he was Martian using his xray vision in the scene where Lois interviewed Superman before he surrendered in Man of Steel...

As someone who loves this version with a passion, def check out the other just so you can see how we had to suffer compared to this. The other movie is fun, and that's all. Lacking in more than just substance. This version is immaculate compared to the other

Bruce got Diana the job at the Louvre as a conservator. He also bought her that car. He likely also bought her apartment that she lives in on the coast. Unlike Tony Stark, lol, Bruce actually funds his friends who need it, even if they dont and wont ever ask him to.

The goal was not to injure Superman when they fought because they needed him to win in the end ...everyone held back that's why it seemed as if Superman was unbeatable ..that's why Wonder Woman made it clear to Aquaman they must contain him ...not kill him

The scene between Lois and Martha in this movie was so great. I think it was a really unfortunate decision by Snyder to undermine that scene by have it turn out to have been the Martian Manhunter. I love MM, but there had to be a better way of introducing him than messing with such a powerfully emotional scene between 2 people grieving a lost loved one.

Make no mistake WW is more than capable of killing supes if she has the intent. Cinematically speaking we know Amazonian steel can cut kryptonian skin. Supes has a weakness to magic which also gives WW a massive advantage

Yeah, you are the first one to comment that she was on top of that statue. And it is not just any statue but the one at the top of the courthouse, the Old Bailey. This one is the original movie pretty much. The theatrical is the one the studio remade to try to be more like Marvel and have a runtime of less than two hours. It is a veeeery different movie. Different scenes, different dialogues, tone, music, fx, designs, no Darkseid. And it is not very good. You can check it if you want but I'd say it is not worth it other than getting pissed over how they treated this movie and so many involved. Martian Manhunter (which means "Martian Detective") is one of the members of JL and is also super strong, almost as strong as Superman, has mind reading and shapeshifting powers. His weakness is fire, though. Flash has powers of running back in time but is the first time he does it here and as he said, it is a rule he never wanted to break because to play with time is dangerous. So it is not something he would just do all the time. Besides, it must take an insane amount of energy out if him or like in the comics, if he is not careful, he could get desirengrated and die. Really glad you enjoyed the movie so much! One of the best ones about super heroes.

Great reaction! This version of JL is amazing. It is 1hr 45min longer than the theatrical cut but has about 2hrs 45min of different footage. Completely different story line. Darkseid story line wasn't in the theatrical cut. Zack Snyder's daughter died while the movie was in editing, so he understandingly left the project, WB hired Joss Weeden to finish the film. Weeden reshot 50% percent of the movie and rewrote the script. It felt very disjointed. Zack was allowed to re-edit the film back to his original vision, and what a vision it was! This version has sadly never been shown in theaters. I know I'd pay to see it in IMAX.

Bringing Superman back was the only option because Diana revealed they were not strong enough to defeat Steppenwolf ...Wonder Woman can sense power levels

ZSJL IS the original mate, 2017 is the remake. It was literally filmed first.

Glad you loved it. A lot of your questions and concerns are answered in the source material/comics. Like the death of Superman and his rebirth and the Flash and Flashpoint involving time travel are iconic in the comics, as well as the movies now.

Every time I watch this movie -- and I watch it once or twice a year -- I think of the video of Ray Fisher's joy after watching this version of the movie. The theatrical release easily erased the majority of his scenes, especially those about his backstory and his character development. The theatrical release also minimized Ezra Miller's Flash to being comic relief by cutting the entire part where he saves the world. When you watch the theatrical release, you may be extremely surprised at the decisions that were made. For me, the theatrical release was a one-and-done. This four hour version resonates.

Don’t understand people that “hate” this movie. I suspect it’s just they’ve been trained to hate it for some fanboy pretentious reason. It’s one of the best comic book movies ever made. And it’s cinematic history.

Legend Rico! Zack Snyders' Justice League is by far and a way one of the most captivating and entertaining DC films to have come out in the last 5/6 years (considering only Joker & The Batman as closest comparisons). I'm so disappointed Warner Bros is choosing to reboot the whole DC universe instead of giving real closure by allowing Zack Snyder to finish the story. But I'm forever grateful we got this authentic version of Justice League, because what came out in 2017 is a dumpster fire.

Doomsday killed Superman back in the 90's comics and they brought him back. He regenerated and wore the black suit which helps him regenerate quicker.

Glad you enjoyed the movie. If you ever watch the theatrical version, you can probably see why no one believes in DC anymore. The theatrical version was pretty bad. So to answer your question about Lois being pregnant, yes. She was pregnant. Here is the catch (tons of people hate this), Bruce is the father. I’m not sure if Bruce was aware or not. Clark believes its his and they stick to that. Darkseid gets the anti-life equation and uses it on Superman AFTER Lois gets killed. So the equation basically gives darkseid complete control of superman. That is what led to the “nightmare” scenes. That was glimpses of the future We will never see this, because WB said they are done with the snyderverse. Which is sad. I really wanted to see how this ended

As much as I love Marvel and The Avengers. I feel like the Avengers would lose against Darkseid. Darkseid is more brutal and terrifying compared to Thanos. Even the voice of Darkseid sends chills down my spine!

It depends on verisons of the avengers fighting thanos just like it depends on verison of the jutice league fighting darkseid. Thanos is just has brutal and terrifying as thanos in the comics for example,or more so.Thanos is stronger and more powerful then darksied. Anyway certain verisons of the avengers and justice league could beat darkseid and thanos and certain versions can't and it depends on the writer,story etc..

Lol, the Avengers would pretty much squash the Darkseid without omega beams of that flashback scene and so would Thanos.

Regarding the idea that flash can just go back and change things, you should watch The flash movie. Then in regards to Bruce's flashbacks, cyborg also had a similar vision. The vision where Superman works for darkseid. Even flash came back from the future to warn Bruce in the past. They are definitely playing the idea of multiple timelines or maybe not? That's the nice part about these movies is you're not entirely sure. You don't know what is actually going to happen, and anything is possible.

Yeah Darkside is child’s play compared to Thanos. Thanos wouldn’t just stand there and let that happen.

The scene where The Flash turns time back to save basically the world was so good it beat out the Spider-Man scene where all 3 Spider-Man’s join forces to fight and the Avengers Assemble call out by captain marvel at the end of the Endgame movie to win the Oscar for best scene. And to criticize it makes no sense because it hasn’t been done before so assuming every time the world is in danger he will use the speed force is assuming too much. At this point if it was to happen in the next movie and then again in a following movie then I would agree with that criticism. I saw his Endgame movie review and he didn’t question the time travel in a 1970s van or a random sewer rat activating it. Fair is fair but MCU fans seem to not see the countless plot holes and bad writing in MCU comedies/superhero movies.

that's right, they didn't have to bring back superman. that's the point. they bring him back because it's a part of Batman's character arc. The only reason why superman is alive because Bruce's guilt and regret, not because they have to.

Well of course using a mother-box to resurrect Superman was a risky idea. No one knew that if they just take him out of the ground and expose him to massive amounts of sunlight he will eventually come back on his own. Unfortunately they didn’t know that and they needed him immediately, so they had no other choice.

@@Just-Rico you are wrong ZSJL version is the original one. Everything was done except some CGI and the MM scene at the end was the replacement of bruce meeting a green lantern instead. The studio simply didn't like this version amd hired Joss to change the movie. So the real change is what happened to the 2017 one not this masterclass.

These DC characters don't fight gangsters and stop bank robbers. These characters are demigods who fight aliens, demons and gods. DC is mythological. It's not Marvel, it's more adult. DC and Marvel should be able to exist as seperate entities but MCU fans attack these films because they are not rainbow coloured comedies.

Im guessing u didnt watch wonder woman that film came out before this one and u would of seen her speed quickness and power. Marshin manhunter can shape shift and is powerful u just didnt see it in this. Superman needed to come back bro...he and bruce are the leaders of the justice league and superman died in the comics and was brought back.

@@Just-Rico Superman was supposed to die in BVS but here we can see that batman blames himself for his death so he didn't think twice before bringing him back but As U can see in the dreams of Batman this choice that he made will lead to a darker future Injustice Superman ( villain) So my point is that when bats change the nature death of Superman , it is going to cost a lot to him and whole world so Ressuraction Comes With A price Which I feel is Great and does not take way the emotion we felt when the character was dead the first time.

@@Just-Rico It was ONLY possible with a Mother Box. A superpowerful ancient artifact from another dimension. And then it took Victor and Barry to actually get that to work. And the birthing chamber in the Kryptonian ship. The mother boxes are now useless. It's a magic glove which can kill half the universe in a second that I find hard to believe :)

Man of Steel, Batman v Superman Ultimate Edition, Zack Snyder's Justice League is Snyder's trilogy, it's a continuation of the story one movie after another. And you can watch Wonder Woman after the BvS UE. Basically order is this: 1. Man of Steel 2. BvS UE (it's a Directors cut +30 min) watch this cut it's superior 3. Wonder Woman (Zack didn't direct this movie, but he was supervising so to speak) 4. Zack Snyder's Justice League

@@Just-Rico I mean yeah that's the advantage of having to watch the first one that was released but the down side is even bigger to me because you would be too busy comparing the two and not enjoying ZSJL to the full experience. Some people don't even watch tje first one and they couldn't get 'marvel' out of their head when they were watching ZSJL and that pisse me off. I wish people can be objective when it's needed.

You are making the same mistake a lot of reactors made and assuming this movie is an extension of the Justice League movie that was released in theaters in 2018. iT IS NOT!. The 2018 is a hatchet job that uses a couple of fight scenes from this movie and rewrote and reshot another movie around them. Warner Bros was not happy with Zack Snyder's work on Man of Steel and Batman v Superman because it wasn't as well received as the Marvel movies. After this film had completed filming Zack left the project after his daughter died (self inflicted) . Warner Bros, who own DC Comics, brought in Joss Wheddon who directed some of the Avengers movies to "finish" the movie so it could meet the release date. In truth they wrote a new movie, reshot a bunch of scenes for their new story and used a few fight scenes that Zack shot. They tried to make it funnier and add a lot of lame jokes. Barry is sillier, Victor is just there, there is no character development. They add a subplot about some Russian family that spend half the movie hiding under a table (this is for laughs) and he rehashes the bit where a guy fall on top a woman and face plants in her boobs just like he did in Avenger: Age of Ultron.. This version has been labeled the "Josstice League" So this film is the originally shot film but it had never been completed. After the other film was released a fan movement demand the release of the original Zack Snyder version because the other film didn't fit in with the other DC movies by Zack. After a few year the fans got their wish. Zack came back and finished this movie in 2021. Mostly just post-production work but a few small additions ( the epilogue scenes and the hallway). Zack didn't use any of the reshot footage the Joss added. So nothing added in the "Josstice League" is relevant to this film, The are two different films. He just used what he had already filmed. Also no one saw this in theaters as in was only released as a streaming movie (on HBO) which is why it's 4 hours. One of WB's issues with Zack is that he made movies too long for theaters and they would force him to cut the runtime to something more theater friendly. But since this was going to be released on a streaming service they used pretty much everything they had shot. No there won't be any other movies of this franchise.. WB only allow Zack to finish this to shut up the "Snyder Cut" fans. They didn't want it to succeed because they were already down on his other movies and claimed this on was a huge mess and that's why they had to make the changes they did with Joss but it was well received so they are kind of eating crow but they are going to reboot and restart the franchise. The transforming alien in the hallway is The Martian Manhunter, who in the comics is one of the founding members of the Justice League. And for many years was considered the heart of the team. The alien with the ring, who died in the Age of heroes battle was a member of the Green Lantern Corps. They basically are a group of space cops (over 3600). There is a not well received live action movie dedicated to the version in the comics who is also a founding member of the Justice League in the comics. There are several animated movies about Green Lantern that are much better than the live action. Superman coming back from the dead is an homage to the comics and the Death of Superman story arc.. In the comics Superman dies fighting Doomsday ( kind of like the monster in Batman v Superman but the story is different) Four being show up to replace Superman, some claiming to be him. When Superman does return he wear the Black suit to help recharge his powers so it's another homage here. There are animated movie that cover this story but they are part of connected universe of Animated Movies (there is a watch order) and the Superman story is toward the end. But the DC animated movies are mostly very good. You should have watched the Wonder Woman movie before this one, then the Aquaman movie after. Flash does get his own movie that just came out this year but it's kind of a redo of the Flash animated movie "Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox" which kicks off the connected animated universe I mentioned before. Most of the time the animated stuff is closer to the comics where the live action stuff tends to make up new versions of the characters. The Nightmare stuff is based of the Injustice: Gods Among Us video games where Superman goes bad, which IMHO is just a bad take but gives an excuses for the characters to fight.

Did you watch Man of Steel, did you watch BVS ultimate edition, did you watch Wonder Woman? If you HAVNT then you are missing a ton of information.

Just for the record, you would have enjoyed it extremely more if you had wasted your precious time watching that horrible 2017 version and then years later came to finally watch the real thing like the rest of us 🤣🤣😂. I watched the Joss version when it came out and it was terrible, years later, coming to watch this version. Best feeling ever. I do not recommend watching the Joss version lol, most of us only watched it because we had no choice lol.

Did you not watch wonder woman before this? You seemed to be surprised by her ability? If not you should consider watching these movies in order. A Google search would help before watching any marvel or DC movie with multiple characters.
