@oriamir8994 you obviously weren't in the military. He was the Sergeant, why would he yell his own rank? There were only 2 ranks referenced in the movie; Dutch who was a Major and Mac who was a Sergeant (most likely E7 or E8). More than likely Blaine was around the same rank as Mac, but it was never mentioned. So why would he yell his own rank?

First movie I ever saw. I was 5 years old! My aunt was babysitting & we all feel asleep in the living room watching a move. I woke up in the middle of the night. Everyone was still asleep. Guess what movie was on television. I will never forget it! 😎 Predator is still my favorite movie to this day! Never gets old!

You sir are absolutely perfectly RIGHT! The main thing all these newer remakes got wrong and messed up! Even the prequel to The Thing that was released in like 2010 or 2011. Ruined a CLASSIC, didn't do the original 1983 movie any justice! The original with Kurt Russell and so many other great actors was INCREDIBLE, and so many other 80's films. No stupid, fake Cgi and All original ideas and very creative

​@@mikesanchez5479 I've read somewhere that the producers wanted more scene of guns firing which the Director felt the idea is nonsense and unnecessary. But to save his job, he did the scene but with a hidden message like in the end of the day, you did not accomplish anything with that senseless action (something like that) and the Director did mention about "gun pornography" 😁

I remember going to see this at the movie theater in 1987 after returning home from college and I must admit that this was next level sci-fi that we were not ready for.

When he fired that gauntlet gun... That sounds like pure music!! Especially when it's on your side 🫡🫡🫡

⁠comically whenever you cut on the closed captions, they put Sargeant instead of contact.

This scene is one of the best scenes in cinematic history, it never gets old!!!

This movie was “way” before its time. If it were out today, it would STILL be a top tier film!
