Anyone that thinks that way they should never have one. I don't even have a pet and i still think this was cruel. Only a heartless person will do this. And those are the main reasons Ive cared more about animals than humans as owners we take on the responsibilities the dog can’t they didn’t choose to have problems or choose you as an owner you have to be responsible it’s the same a child people that give up on an animal that fast shouldn’t even think to have children I got my animals to see if I can keep them alive and healthy and provide health care then I can do the same for my children when I’m ready

The moment he walked the first time with the wheelchair made me cry. 😭 The poor baby went through hell but still smiled and was so friendly with no aggression only love to give. I’m just speechless and even after the video I feel choked up. Thank you thank you so much for saving this special beautiful dog. God bless this dog and wish you happiness and health. ❤

Me too! It reminded me of my beloved Whiskey. She tore both of her hind ACLs (ligaments behind the knees without which the legs cannot work.) At first they thought she had a broken back like Alex. I told them to save her without hesitation. It cost a few thousand dollars with surgeries and complications, and I had to carry her around and do her rehab every day and supporting her back with a sling while she re learned to walk--all while I myself was very sick and poor. A neighbour of mine at the same time had his dog killed for a relatively less serious health problem. He said he didn't have the money but had just bought himself a $2000 leather sofa. I said "Don't ever complain to me again you could not save your dog, and don't ever get another dog unless you are prepared to act like a man who deserves a dog." As for Whiskey, she eventually made a full recovery and had six more happy years with me full of fun and love--for both of us! I don't regret all the effort and expense to save her. She was priceless, she brought me so much laughter and love, comfort and joy, through trying times. Dogs are a gift.

I have a yellow rescue lab and this brought tears to my eyes. This breed is so social and loyal, I can’t imagine what this poor boy went through. Thank you so much for all you do in Ukraine and I will be donating to your mission. Slava Ukraini ❤️🇺🇦

That tells me they didn’t want him to suffer but couldn’t afford the medical expense. It isn’t cheap. At least they left him in a place they knew could help him and not thrown in a trash can

What the previous owners did to this dog

This truly touched my heart. Merry Christmas. I needed this encouragement during this time. I’m keeping my faith, but I’m Feeling so hopeless. I’m so alone no one cares about me crying out to my brothers and sisters through Christ for prayers. Me and my children are struggling because I lost my job over declining the vaccine I declined due to my pre existing health conditions lupus and heart disease. We are now facing homelessness. I’m a single mother I have nowhere to turn. I pray that God will hear my prayers and bless me. I must be patient. With it being the holidays my situation has really been bringing me down. I will continue to keep Faith in God he will provide.

Angels like you keep this world beautiful. We lost our golden retriever last year. He was 13 Yrs old. Ok I agree with you to a point but there is a major difference between the owner of Alex and some other owners of dogs, it's very plain to see that Alex at some stage was very much loved and cared for as he is in very good condition apart from the injury to his back, he is well fed and his coat is in good condition with no sign of fleas, ticks ect, the problem how I see it is the previous owners of Alex simply could not afford his surgery to fix his back and could not afford to keep him any longer in this condition so they left him outside of the vets knowing full well that he would be immediately picked up and taken care of, in an ideal world this would not happen but in some parts people struggle to feed themselves let alone pay $1000's for surgery on their pet 😔😔 owners who starve & beat their dogs and then leave them tied up in a deserted area instead of taking them to a dog rescue are the ones who deserve to be taken off the planet immediately

@@ninjabluewings Agreed! It’s easy for people to judge. Babies get thrown in dumpsters. Dogs left alone to die of starvation. Puppies dropped in lakes to drown. This dog was left there out of love, no one knows if this family cried they’re eyes out to have to make this decision.

Bless you. You must have a whole lot of compassion and a very big heart to rescue a dog with no bladder control. He also can’t walk. I loved this story, it warms my soul. Thank you 🙏

What absolutely kills me is to see with Alex, is how gentle of a soul this dog is and I'm sure not all of it felt good like physio therapy he probably went through and he just troopers through it probably like how he took everything else in this video and didn't miss a beat never a growl never a bite never even showing teeth. Just zen sitting down open mouth breathing just the happiest little buggee, and happiest thing in existence. He's looks so happy to be alive and be around you guys. Something very deep about this specific dog. I don't comment alot on KZread and I actually work with and specialize in Behavioral Rehabilitation For dogs and every so often you meet one of those those special guys and sometimes you're blessed to own one too but even just to meet one of those are rare. All dogs freakin rock they're awesome I love em all but there's something special about this little tyke. Many robes dogs even just from the pain can give a nip but not because he's aggressive. He's heartbreakingly precious. You guys should have long lives whomever you are in front and in back of the cameras. Respect, this work you do is brilliant. You both are lucky the dog is lucky to have people like you guys taking care of him and you are lucky to have a dog with an angel like spirit. Much peace and love to you guys stay safe.... Considering you work in that field how can you sleep at night when you condem a dog for death.i watch alot of rescues on the.v and I watch while they access a dog who is starving. With a bowl of food that's his.with a stick with a stupid hand on it.the other day the assessment lady had it in bowl poking him.only towards end did he attack the stick hand.firstly a dog knows it's not a real hand secondly you say a child may want to put thier hands in HIS FOOD BOWL.SO YOU PUT SWEETEST DOG TO SLEEP.I TAUGHT MY BABYS THE BED BELONGS TO DOG SO IF THEY DO ALITTLE GROWL THIER TELLING YOU THIS IS MY SPACE IM TIRED LEve me alone. Kids understand very quickly in end my little one could lay with our dog in his bed.same as I taught my dog that a certain toy was my little girls.its about patience love and teaching right from wrong.uk

How can anyone do this, as it is truly unreal, who does not love a Labrador? They are just so adorable 🥰 and give so much love after everything Alex has gone through fully deserves a loving family and a loving home.

It is really sad. Pet owner did not want to put dog down but cannot afford the $20,000+ needed for multiple surgeries. It's too much money for any pet owner. It's sad but when you don't have the money what can you do.

He's so nice. I love these videos. I can't believe people who mistreat their dogs. All dogs have is love for their people pack. how could you not help him when he was injured? It makes me so mad. I'm very happy that he has found people who love him and he can be safe, warm and loved again.

A home full of happiness and love FOREVER! So happy to know gorgeous boy Alex has found humans that truly love and adore him as much as they do. And he also has a special little doggy friend Lada to play with. You can feel the love and see the joy they all share. So heart-warming to see. Thankyou.💚❤💛

We had a yellow lab. One of the best, loyal & well mannered dogs we ever had. She's been gone about 3 years now and is still missed each and every day!

There is condemnation for any and all who intentionally or non intentionally betray an animal at their time of need. The Creator of heaven and earth sees all things . Mankind is responsible for every deed they do. Let us all do the right thing in every situation. There are also employees of vetenaries who are heartless and demand fees be paid upfront before helping creatures, dogs, cats and everyliving creature. So There is no love or compassion to do what is right in many many animal emergencies. I know this personally. My precious dog died because the supervising Employee demanded upfront payment while my little Maltese was near death. I will add that I brought all my animals and strays to this vetenary and always paid for their services in full every visit. There are very negative individuals in this world who put money before care. My little Maltese passed away due to lack of compassion 💔 😞

Disgusting pigs leaving him like that. Thank you for helping him and not giving up. You are amazing. Poor cats get run over by the wheelchairs, but don't care and go to play too. I cried so hard, I can't even breathe, to think that someone could this to their dog. Evil humans do not deserve to walk on this earth. No conscience. Subhuman, lower than maggots. They deserve the worse karma. Sick!

Everyone who loves animals should see the rights" for people's that treating dogs or cats or also any forms of animals, should be severely punished and paid for theirs dogs medical Bill's and never having animals in theirs homes . Strictly forbidden and understood. I really thankyou guys that takecare unwanted, mistreated and abused animals . Lawsuits should be addresses firmly and enforced rightnow and stopped all cruelty fir thoses helpless animals that cannot defending themselves. Thoses Assholes- DICKHEAD- MORONS" should be accountable and faces what they did and posted their faces every places and on media too!

Thank God there are people like you guys and the vets too to help this beautiful fur baby that didn’t deserve to be thrown away (just because they might not be able to afford to take care of him or afford the bills) there are other options! What they did was wrong 😡 Absolutely NO FUR BABY DESERVES TO BE THROWN AWAY OR DESERTED! They deserve LOVE and loyalty right back! God bless this beautiful sweet fur baby and I PRAY 🙏 he finds his FUREVER home 🐶💙

How incredibly sad. I'm sitting here crying for these poor souls. At least there are a few kind people to make their lives more bearable. No zoomies. Thank you for all the kind work you do. Merry Christmas to you all.

Thank you for taking care of him, he deserves to be with someone who loves him and provides him a good life. Hopefully his old owner will be very sick and his family will leave them at the hospital and drive off so they can get a taste of their own medicine. Merry Christmas all.

What heartless owners get away with is beyond me. Thank God for Angles like you all. May God bless you for taking care of him and others. You truly are God sent.

One look into those brown eyes must melt every heart that is even remotely capable of feeling. What a lovable dog he is and he has been through so much. I hope he has found a wonderful new home by now and is doing as well as he deserves.

I was in tears when I saw this video. God bless you all for giving him a second life.

He ran over the cat’s foot lol! I cried watching this, to see this beautiful dog with a new lease on life! God bless these women for rescuing him!

Watching the transformation of this dog and how seamlessly he adapted to the wheelchair brought a few tears to my eyes.

When he jumped up to catch his toy my heart skipped a beat. What a beautiful sight to see.

A whole year without no professional advice??? Humans can be so stupid!,! I’m just glad lucky has new hoomans in his life now that will make a difference. He is so forgiving and so adorable. You just want to hug him up!
