Sweet. Still surprises me how many cleaners don’t see the value in a strong UV for urine detection. One is able to do a more thorough job and impress upon the clients mind that you’re a consummate professional. By the way, have you ever used it for spot removal?

Id like to see a follow up video a week later and see if the urine smell is completely eliminated. I dont take on urine work for this very reason. No matter what product or method ive ever used will completely eleminate the smell without replacing carpet, padding and cleaning/treating subfloor and in some cases replacing subfloor

I totally think that’s a great idea. It would help those that are either new and just getting into it, or those that run a truck and wanna become better! I think the process of mixing chemicals is important to keep in the process of these videos. The spraying portion as well if able to, as I know it’s time consuming. My questions after this video are the following: Did you spray the stairs, would it have gotten the same clean without spraying (if you did) also your process on how much chemical should I use - say on a carpet that doesn’t look “dirty.” Im new to carpet cleaning (1 year in) I love it! Customers are what makes our job and I love that you’re all about Positive Moment of Truth, I’ve been implementing some of the things I learn from you Rob into my daily habits and continue to grow and become even more happy in this choice! just my opinion.. Direct drives Pros are consistent power & heat and fewer engines to up keep. Cons; even with less engines to up keep Direct drives seem to have much more maintenance and repairs in my experience they can be fussy and when they do need repairs the labor/parts are usually more $. I like to spread out my risks, bills and liabilities so i prefer slide ins.. But if i lived in a very cold weather state i would more seriously consider a Direct drive as a mandatory cost of business. Before buying make a list of your needs, niche, environment, competition, cost vs benefit, how mechanically inclined you are, your back up plans for mechanical down time and anything else you can think of then make two columns and mark a winner.. its a nerdy way of doing it but at least youll be able to see your thinking. But for your own sake just buy what makes the most sense for you. I started with a franchise using a hydramaster cds, then started my own with a very used ChemTex panther 18 (ill pretend i didnt start with a porty) and now i have a 870ss. Just dont be any cheaper than you absolutely must be... stretch your budget =a little= on the core piece of equipment. my biggest regret was stretching one expense into a decade of small upgrades that just wasted money remember #1 piece of equipment is your body.. invest in what makes the job easiest. after TM buy a electric reel. without health the TM doesnt matter. one pinched nerve will cost you $6-10k in lost work alone.

wow rob that job the way you did it in the video i woulda been at @$1100... $137 area + $50 pet (no stain guard). have to ask do you offer options / service levels or is it the "kitchen sink" or pass? do you have a bare bones way of tackling this job? Ill be honest in 27 years ive never seen anyone post bonnet on a real job. I mean you have a $130k empty rig there and your using premium product and your help and equipment isnt cheap... do you refuse to do basic service for folks that want or need to pay half that for 80-90% of the result? i mean if someone asks me to do the best i can for the regular price i make it clear it wont be the best i can do but ill give the time they pay for. There are 8 guys in my town trying to do the kitchen sink thing and each of them seem to work 2 days a week. i work every day (that i want to lol) but none of them are building anything. seems like a great part time strategy but maybe not so much for a outfit so im just curious if your outfit is kitchen sink or nothing? and if so what am i missing ( 870ss in t250 xl iicrc cct wrt 132 5 stars only one man show 1pt employee working Toward FT ) btw love Red Label. need the scent as a additive signature (people call back for scents they remember) when using stronger products
