Kate's baby, Everly is 7 months old.
This is how Kate described their problem before we got started:
"Severe bottle aversion. Started due to uncontrolled reflux and cows milk allergy. Now baby will only feed when fully asleep, and even then she doesn’t always accept. We are now experiencing low milk volumes in sleep and I feel confined to my house to try and get her to feed."
They were struggling for 4 months.
This is how Kate described her feeding attempts before we got started:
"I cradle Everly on my left side and put the TV on in bed. When Everly is fully distracted watching the TV I then place the bottle in her mouth. She may accept at first, then realise that it’s her milk and will thrash around to get away from the bottle. Then any time I attempt to bring the bottle closer to her mouth she will cry and thrash around until I remove the bottle from sight."
We worked together for 8 days. Everly recovered from bottle feeding aversion within 3 days. There was a regression on the second day, but we quickly fixed it, and on the next day, all feeds were great.
