  Thank you for making this video..i honestly have not really heard many health professionals say that it's okay if my baby doesnt meet a certain daily target in milk consumption ...many times if i mention how much my baby is drinking (which is veryyy little - only about 20-24oz a day at 4 months plus) ..i will be suggested ways to increase his intake (i.e. faster flow nipples, waiting longer between feeds, changing formula, changing bottles) ..but my baby still only insists on drinking the same amount. So far my baby has been growing and has been meeting his milestones but we've yet to attend his next checkup.. so im not sure whether he has put on weight this month

  The last one!! Fast flow bottle is a form of pressure is SPOT ON! My baby starts to not really suck her bottle when i move to faster flow teat. I was sooo confused it lasted for 3 months, then i did joyful reconnection + move 2 teat slower (pigeon SS) then she starts to suck again. It took her 1+ hour to finish her bottle because she just didnt suck, she just waits for milk to came out cause she was too scared to choke on milk. Now, she finish her bottle in 20 mins with nonstop rhythmic sucking. THANK YOU!!

  Very interesting video. I’m an infant feeding specialist and I’m sorry that you saw a feeding specialist that told you to “starve her out”. That is not the appropriate recommendation. I’m happy this current method worked for you! Also on that note, via video her latch and sucking doesn’t look optimal. Did the feeding therapist recommend any changes for that?

  Thank you so much for this informative video. My baby has started to develop feeding aversion right after his 1st vaccination. We didn't know the appetite could be affected and so I pressured him to drink milk on his bottle even he is fussing and crying.

  my baby might have mild tongue tie, and we use the Pigeon bottles you showed(with M size teat) she manages ok but does often gag on the teat/flow. Do you think i also need to change what we use? We tried Dr.Brown previously but she didn't like it much either. I might try again.

  You could try Lansinoh Mama. It has a similar shame to Pigeon and the flow is more manageable.

  Yes, likely! It could also be the position, but if your baby is not laying flat, it’s likely the flow.

  My baby has bottle inversion ! I don’t know how I caused it but I know I’m making it worse by forcing it to her because she will barely drink milk. I will just wait for her signals and just try to make her happy before feeding her no matter how long it takes. She’s only drinking 20oz a day which stresses me out but other than that she seems to be just fine.
