Well actually, the tempo is different from the version in the musical so I'd definitely say is mostly that she could sing it with her eyes clothes since she watched it so much as a kid

when they raise their arms at the same time!! chills

I can imagine Christy singing for an animated movie in the future. Just watch.

Years later and this still brings me goosebumps. She’s the reason why I bought tickets to see Anastasia touring with Lila Coogan who also was amazing. Nothing can beat the two originals. Singing is not just about technique but also performance and emotions. You’re on a stage telling a story with more than your voice. Christy made us believe she was Anya, made us feel it in our bones.
