@Fred W - There was nothing funny about Wendy's snarky insults about Christie's serious 'provable' injury. Especially when Wendy's viewers have had to overlook a lot of Wendy's lies and conflicting statements this past year. Yet despite Wendy receiving a lot of well wishes and forgiveness ... she quickly and falsely calls a friend a liar and manipulator on national TV. Especially appalling since Wendy's own FAKE arm fracture last Dec and had to wear a sling, while slurring her words and refusing to stand during her show, for no apparent reason ... YET a few weeks later - Wendy was in Florida with NO brace and NO sling ... and carrying things in her 'injured' arm. FAKE REASONS. FAKE EXCUSES. FAKE PUBLIC PERSONA. She has now suddenly also started lying about the fact she was abusing drugs and alcohol during her absences ... expecting her viewers to believe her stay in a seedy sober house and having a sober coach drive her to work and back .... was because she needed 'alone' time to sort thru her relationship problems .... yet, wouldn't staying in a nice hotel accomplish the same thing. SMH!! !?!? She is treating her viewers like they are idiots with serious memory loss who can't remember all her prior admissions she made earlier ... and all the news stories this past year. I recently had a similar fall and injury to my wrist a few months ago - only worse - my hand and arm were badly swollen, bruised and very, very painful for weeks and after over 3 months, is just now beginning to look and function at about 85% normal. It is not something funny to be used as banter on a cheezy talk show to insult a 'former' Friend. Wendy has received a lot of kindness and sympathy due to her personal struggles - but those struggles were problems she brought on herself by staying in a lousy marriage with an abusive cheating husband no self respecting woman would tolerate for over a few weeks before tossing him out the door ... yet she has been his willful doormat for YEARS. Wendy needs to get her stories straight and show others the compassion she received during her self created He!!.

It's only "fun" for those of us who can be genuinely kind and really mean it; some people are deeply insecure, envious of others, and only pretend to be your friend when they need something from you...and then they stab you in the back and try to smear your reputation publicly, and we call those people pathological narcissists. I didn't give Ms. Brinkley two thoughts before I saw this clip, and (at first) I couldn't figure out why this was a recommended video for me. I'm so glad I watched it. New found respect for Christie and another level of disgust for Ms. Williams' petty, gossipy insecurity.

She apologized ONLY for 'hurting' Christie's feelings - and immediately said she stood by her original comment ... despite Christie having proof of her injury. I really think Wendy is messed up with her marriage issues, her health issues and her addictions issues - and probably should get off TV .... this past year she has been a train wreck on multiple levels, and she ONLY gets so many 'get out of jail' free cards for all her poor behavior ....and she is on her last one.

How fake and *Jealous* can Wendy be? Christie is the most down to earth beautiful person and for after helping her out so much she’s gonna stab her in the back for a 3 minute spot for her hot topics! Christie handled this with such class!

Christie is so confident and positive. Shes a ray of sunshine

Christy holds herself with such elegance. She is a class act.

Wendy has had Christie on her show and acted all nice to her, and then she goes and accuses her of faking an injury that was obviously very real. And even then Christie still didn't say anything mean about her like most people would in this situation. Wendy is obnoxious and rude. All she does is trash talk celebrities, but as soon as someone talks about her personal life she gets offended.
