Dropping everything at a moments notice, and rushing to her mom's rescue; taking on an incredible challenge on national television with almost no warning or time to prepare.... WHAT BRAVERY!!! Good job Sailor but I hope that Christie will do this number as originally intended at the finale when her wrist heals. That would just be full circle for mom and daughter. And why didn't I see Billy Joel in the audience? Yes, it was short notice for his daughter, so maybe in the finale if she makes it.

It does but I'm sure it's not. I had a roommate in college that was cross country skiing and went over a rock. She needed surgery with pins in her ankle. Sometimes the little things can get you too.

Arman doing it 3 days prior is even better. It sparks a conversation, about the show, Christie, and her daughter. Plus, I feel celebs only use DWTS to reclaim their fame they might have lost. Having Christie’s daughter take her place will draw more attention to both of them, and you can measure that by watching their following (on instagram, Twitter) rise over the several weeks to come. Let’s be real, if Christie broke/fractured her arm than she could have just been eliminated without having to enter the season. This situation stirs the pot even more.
