The Oscar's one is better

Wow, Billies vocal composition in this has to be one of the best I have ever heard. I love the violin touch in the back, it gave the live performance more depth. This was the best performance of “what was I made for” live. She nailed EVERY single note, even extending some notes, which I loved. She deserved the 2 Grammys she won that night, well deserved. I’m so excited to hear her Oscar performance.🏆 Also I love how supportive Finneas is of her, by always clapping & smiling big for her at the end of her performances. I love their siblingship❤️ Both Maggie & Patrick (their parents) are definitely proud of how far they have come. They are winning big and doing huge.❤️

I loved this performance of the song because it seemed very nuanced..👌👏👏💕 But for me, the best was her SNL performance of it.. That one was just ~heartbreaking~ly good..like wow.. Made me cry it was so moving & good. 👌

At the start, it felt like she was singing with two voices.

Her and her brother truly make such beautiful music hits the soul .full of emotions and feelings.

I love that she always highlights her vocals. No choreography with distracting back up dancers, no crazy costumes to try to hide lack of talent. Just musical instruments and a beautiful voice. That’s why she wins so many awards

Why would any of her music have back up dancers anyways. This is a slow song and billie doesn’t even dance. And if she wanted back up dancers or crazy costumes there isn’t anything wrong with having those.

This song when you hear it on the radio your like this is so beautiful, but it would be hard to do in person... She freaking killed that in person. The control to come in and out of different tones of her voice and the control was just so lovely. The whisper soft tone to the full powerful voice that she has. Just beautiful❤

this is so inspiring for every kid in the world. you can make music in your bedroom and attempt to Grammys and even you don't have to have a big belting voice to do that. just be yourself and create Art and share and stay humble.

Ethereal, the whole song is great, but verse 2 is absolutely stunning with the strings and her run and then the concluding "something I wait for AND something I'm made for" - the "AND" is - I think - her new addition (not certain) - all the Oscar nominated songs are truly worthy, but I'm hoping ...! The RECORDING ACADEMY HISTORIAN would know this: has any other person had 9 GRAMMYS by the age of 22 [or in Finneas's case, 10 by the age of 26]?
