That's simply because truly talented musicians are becoming scarce and you realize now how good vocal harmony and tasteful guitar licks sound.

The harmony on this song is so good. I've listened to it for 40 years and it never ceases to amaze me .

Damn, all the music I grew up on. I am sooo happy to have grown up when I did. I'm 65 year old "girl", lol, & I wouldn't trade it for anything. I was raised on some of the best music ever. Perfect example right here.

This is my favorite Crosby, Stills and Nash song. I've grown old now and can understand what they were singing about. Life is too short to fake it, you'll feel a lot better standing up for who you are.

I bought this album in 20 year anniversary of the summer of love 1987 for those of you who were around in 67 an cant remember because you were tripping your face off . I also graduated high school that year in 87 . I was 17 getting ready to turn 18 that August . I have been in love with CSN for 33 years and I will always love wasted on the way I didn't have to turn 50 which I do this August to figure it out but I can say there are friends that I can't wait for them to figure it out .Cause I love you guys Travis Barcomb Andy Latimer Joel Allenbaugh and John Hope come on guys it's been 30 yrs this summer and I still love you all

Everyone says I was born late. I was only 4 years old when Woodstock took place, yet I would have been there if I was older. Peace, pot and microdot my friends😊

Each of C,S,&N are special in their own way. Nash is a very careful musician, Stills is never afraid to go and thrash his guitar, and Crosby is amazing in that his vocals never stand out, meaning his blending is so seamless as to be invisible. 💙🙏🏼

The first time I heard this, I felt shattered, and every time the same. Bonnie's voice imbues these songs with such vulnerability. Her version of 'Love has no Pride' another heartbreaker ❤

Songs with meaning...real heart felt experiences behind each and every word...such music is timeless...I look back on my brief moment on earth and I review my actions, my efforts and I realize I could have treated people better, done things with more commitment and used time more thoughtfully...then I aspire to live the next half of my life making up for this...doing better...having learnt...from these mistakes...thats what "living" should be about...

Just pure magic, these three guys....My heart is broken that "and now we are two", as Croz has flown away. But his music ....wow, such a legacy to live on. Timeless.

I listen everyday. Just bought the autobiography of Croz and Nash. These guys were my escape from reality when I was young and troubled. No bigger fan then myself. See you in Omaha in August, Graham.

Beautiful song. Simple and elegant.

From another 60/70s geezer...these guys are the best, sans question. True rock and roll & meaningful. Best harmony. Just saw them...after 30+ years...awesome!

God, I love all three of these guys, and all of them together. Look at them -- three such different personalities, singers, people, but put them together and -- YIKES! We were so lucky to have their music during our coming-of-age years. I think I am a better person for it.

AND he told me that he and several fellow vets hoped, after Vietnam, that the US had learned its lesson around colonial wars and being " the police of the world. Nazi's and the Vietnamese are apples and oranges. Vietnam was part of French Indochina... A COLONY to make French Corporations ( Michelin Rubber) rich. We just took the place of the French and made some American Corporations richer...the beginning of the Military-Industrial- Congressional Complex that General Dwight David Eisenhower warned us of..WW II and Vietnam....not even CLOSE to analogous!

Once in awhile you need a reminder of the perfect harmony of these three voices! Never gets old!!!

Nash has said that he likes his music to be personal--it doesn't get much more personal than this. And I love the views of them in profile singing together. It's how I'll always remember them, now that Croz is gone.

Got misty eyes here watching this... And it's 2020 with COVID-19 Pandemic still on its run... They should come back together again + Young... For good & forever... Setting aside their egoes once and for all... Sigh...

Back 9 years later (from my last comment). Even though it was already very unlikely, it's sad now with the final realization that we won't hear / see these 3 voice sing live together ever again. You can practice all you want, but these 3 unique voices just blended heavenly. I've played this repeatedly since the news yesterday of Croz's passing. Heaven may include being transported back to this performance.

I was lucky enough to stand about ten feet from the stage over 20 years ago and watch these guys showcase their artistry, from the first note, I got chills, imagining them at Woodstock and knowing for a fact I was seeing history and feeling some of the best music ever played. thank you guys, we love your music.

@@emm352 I was about to say that. Saw them on CBS this morning a few months ago. They could be making incredible music and are really blowing it by being petty.

I was a sound man from the early 1970's through the mid 1980's and the first thing I saw on the video was the colored tape on the mics. A beautiful rendition none the less. The colors let us behind the scenes know what we were listening for, Stevens voice was very different that Grahams and Davids. I always had a small strip of colored tape on my sound board so I could keep up, stuff moves fast on stage. I also met Johnny and Edgar Winters at Studio in the Country during that time, but that is a story for anther time

They brought it live. Impeckable, gorgeous harmonies.

So many years wasted with petty arguments about trivial matters, so true! I love all their music, for they sing the truth!!! God Bless this gifted trio of artistic magic!!!❤❤❤

They were absolutely amazing.

When this song came out 40 years ago it just reminded me so much of my two best friends and I. We were in our 30s at the time and we're not quite where we should have been financially. I always wished we had more money to do more things that we love to do together. They are both gone now and I miss them so much . This song is how I stay in touch with them. Sleep well my brothers I will miss you forever.

I have been very very poor and also pretty well off not rich but very comfortable and believe me life is a lot easier if you're not worrying about paying bills . Hanging out is a lot different then being able to afford to go on trips together . It's all relative to how much money you actually have

No group harmonized better. These guys could SING!!!!

You can't beat harmonizing like this, absolutely brilliant.

This is a complete nostalgia blast. If you're over the age of 40 in 2020, this song is probably part of your childhood in some way.

Sure you've heard it so many times but of course you're right.. I was in college 1968-72 right in the thick of it, though I think we all just sort of took this remarkable time in music in particular for granted.. so much changing, such talented groups and musicians in the offing, just surrounded by it. Then it just kind of slowly started slipping away.. to where it is today. Many of wish we could back to relive those years, in spite of the wars, racial problems and so on. An evolving time, not perfect in any way, but it was our lives to live and we did.

Bud B I am going back and listening to music that I somehow missed during that time. being raised in a very conservative area these guys were considered either dopers or draft Dodger kind of guys. now that I've gotten older I can go back and listen and just be blown away by the music they created Stephen Stills is an absolute monster on guitar vocal and writing Graham Nash is also very great. David Crosby I'm not so sure about. From what I understand he's kind of a toad anyway. But KZread is amazing in that we still have these things to listen and go back to and to get in touch with the fact that some old stuff is really really good and amazing. Thanks guys

One of my earliest memories was Suite: Judy Blue Eyes on my silly lil transistor radio. If the harmonies can come through a cheap transistor radio? yeah that says something. I was hooked and I'm still hooked to this day but my stereo is MUCH better.

RIP Mr. Crosby.. thank you for your gift of music and song.
