Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young - Helpless (Live at Farm Aid 2000)
Музыка
Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young perform "Helpless" at the Farm Aid concert in Bristow, Virginia on September 17, 2000.
Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid's board of directors in 2001.
For more information about Farm Aid, visit: farmaid.org/youtube
Farm Aid's performances are donated by the artists in order to raise funds and raise awareness for family farmers. They've raised their voices to help - what can you do?

He sings so amazing live, love this track xx❤❤😂
It's so right to hear Neil speaking for American values......even if he doesn't realize it.

❤❤❤❤. That’s beautiful! ❤❤❤. My parents bought a plot of land in the 1950’s. They’re both gone now, but us kids still have the land. I’ll never sell it. Never!❤❤❤

Do what ever you can to keep that. I raised two kids and pushed them to college. They are in their 30s and after their mom died, they hate me now to point I can't even see my Grandkids. Was it my fault and could I have handled it better? Maybe, but I am the same guy I was 50 years ago. My two kids who I pushed to chase the dream for college, they became Athiest, Marxist, Socialist, Feminest. I am just still dad, and after all I did for them, they are gone. Not trying to be a downer, just letting you know its great your kids are still with you. Keep it at what ever cost.
This version is pure Magic! Rest in Peace David Crosby
I grew up on a family farm. My dad started as a sharecropper in the 1930s and ended up with thousands of areas of some of the best farmland in the USA. It’s still in the family.

GOOD for you! Long may your grain wave. I grew up on a very small family farm, best times of my life!
We need you more than ever….our family farms have folded. Your talk before this view, by me….takes me right to today. Your organization has helped keep our souls alive. We just want to grow growers, and we are now having a saying between my wife, and partner….as we talk no more chemicals, go organic, go back to our roots, no more GMO …we get “the beatings will continue until morale improves”. Thank you for helping us, and love FARMAID. You have just said the words we need everybody to hear…Jeff and Sandy

Oh Neil, Love you and your profound message. One of my favorite tunes beautifully delivered. Thank you from Eve G.
When I was 14 years old I listened this song and now I 56 year old I listen this song
This song is a Masterpiece 💕💕 RIP David Crosby 🙏🙏🙏
Looking for this wonderful song from my childhood, I came across this platform. It's 2021 and I write from Spain. And the feeling is the same. Rural communities, families, land, kitchen table. But for all, from north, south, east, west. There's a place for every little one. Thank you, gracias CSNY!
What a voice after all these years! LOVE YOU NEIL💕💕

Neil has a style I'm not sure his voice is one of his best traits unless he's doing harmonys with CSN.not putting neil down he one of the best but not the best voice in rock that's for sure.
The decision is made around the kitchen table, - not in the boardrooms ... so sweet ❤
Crosby, Stills,Nasch und Neil Young war eine großartige Band
I am a farm girl and proud to be one. You see, I have values and I care for others. I did so without drugs or alcohol. Pure love.

I applaud you. Either fortunately, or unfortunately, I was born with the addiction gene.
As they watched Neil open the song I cannot help but wonder were they thinking about all those years and the journey.
Relevant 50 years ago, 20 years ago and still today... God Bless
There is a definite moment where Crosby reads young. They each had such respect and awe for one another.

Some of the best music out there !!!!
My first concert ever was Crosby, Stills, and Nash introducing, Neil Young. I was 14 saw them at the forum in LA. 14th row floor center. My girlfriends father was a ticket promoter. We were amount all the suits. Great memories.
Wish we all had 100 more years of this
Yes this is Pure Poetry. Look at these greats on stage together again.
I know my days are numbered so I decided to do some research to create a montage of my most favorite performances of music, not just a list of songs. This is certainly one. I knew Crosby, Stills, and Nash before Neil Young joined them and they were so fabulous. Then they found their next level of song. The four of them, collectively chose take it to take it to a different level and so in their reunification for farm aid it shows what real artists are all about. They are real people with enormous talent but they do not take it for granted and so they use it for good. I think sometimes these gifted people who have made a lot of money because of their beautiful work are not so appreciated as they should be. This is a great example of giving back. LET US NOT FORGET! Let us also remember the joy they brought to us all in their music.

I am so very sorry for the person that gave me a thumbs downs. Your life must be so shallow. I will probably be dead before you know how meaningful this response is. LISTEN AND TRY TO LEARN TO THINK. Listen Dearling because it can change your life, not because of the musicians but because of the way you interpret it for yourself. Be Well.
The family farm is the ONLY WAY! Spot ON, NEIL ❤

I love this so much. Prior to knowing Crosby, Stills, and Nash, Neil wasn’t as political in his music. So to see his speech to the crowd at the beginning as the others look on is just powerful to me

In the 60's I grew up on a cotton farm. In the 70's I grew up on a dairy farm. Then I saw Germany and some other European places. But there is no better place than this place where I live. Just now, it's Idaho. But it could be any place in America.

One of his best, I kinda wanna hear an extended version of cowgirl in the sand like 20 minutes would be good lol
Questo succedeva quando ad un certo tipo di musica la accompagnava un discorso, parole che avevano un fondo sociale, un senso, il tutto in una armonia deliziosa.
Excelente . mi musica ........ Bello ........................
When it comes to harmony these guys got it hands down followed by the Bee Gees and Simon and Garfunkel.
Legends love it 😀💜
