The toe tap by Devonte Smith was amazing. Out standing throw by Jalen that thing didn't look like it had a chance at being completed.

Jalen Hurts had a solid performance for the Philadelphia offense and the Eagles defense slowed down Washington just enough to stay in the playoffs hunt.

Their offense is solid though, if they don't do dumb mistakes and run the ball, they will score. Their defense on the other hand very rarely brings pressure and blitzes, they could make a pratice squad QB looks like a HoF elite QB

I think they are gonna sacrifice those picks. They won too many games and this draft doesn't have any high-tier franchise QBs. So, they will probably package those picks in order to trade for a QB. The Eagles are 7-7, the Colts are 8-6 so those picks won't be great. We would get 3 quality players if they believed in Hurts, but eventually, I think those 3 picks will be in order to trade for a QB. I think they want Watson and just need Watson to say he is willing to go to Philly. The only reason Miami dominated the Watson talk is because Watson didn't have Philly on his wish list.

And if he does end up doing a bad job (which I don’t think he will, I think he can be the franchise guy),? No problem, we have the best backup QB in the league in Gardner Minshew who’s another young guy and we can give him a shot.

@@semi6544 Philly with hurts and draft a good Olineman or two with maybe a WR1 could make some noise next season. Philly should build around hurts and if it doesn't bare fruit in 4 years then blow it up.

Jalen is 100% improving, you can tell he is getting better each game. Give him time and add pieces especially a strong O-line and he will develop. A good O-line gives a young QB time which is crucial.

Shh, you’re making too much sense for the eagles fans and organization. If Howie and Jeffrey were smart they’d at the very least keep Hurts another year. Feels like Philly is the only team in the league that would seriously look at a 7-7 team with a young QB and still try and get another young QB in the draft🤦🏾‍♂️. Love the eagles as a team, but the team is ran by stupid ass owners and gm’s, and some of the fans are just as stupid.

Rusty start for the Eagles but they finished greatly. And props to Washington for fighting all the way through it. Regardless of records, the NFC East will always be one of the most competitive divisions in football in my opinion.

great game for a first one. I went to my first one with the Giants vs Saints in the 90`s. the score was 12-7 but great seats. great experience either way going to games. When Jason Sehorn was an ill corner. Tyrone Wheatley running back kicks for the g-men. while back.

This team will be something special in 2023-24 season and beyond.

A very slow start for the Eagles, and then a nice finish and run game for them.

@@XVNRX That's what happens in Philly. I was at an Eagles-Giants game at the Vet back in the 80's. A Giants fan was held by his ankles from the upper deck. Good times! Never go to Eagles games wearing the opposing teams colors.

Not a single team in the NFL can stop this rushing attack. The #1 Ranked Rush Defense Allowed over 200 (Saints) I could see this team pulling off a playoff upset if we get there.

This coaching staff has to be praised for one thing, thats going to the run game and realizing that the BIG BOYS upfront are the heart of this team. Switching to a RUN focus offence is a pleasant surprise for this staff to adjust to. I think we see something they can build off.

Dallas Goedert is turning out to be a fine replacement for Zack Ertz. He has impressed me all season.

What a great win today for the Eagles Hurts and Goedert got off to a slow start but they came back especially Hurts with those touchdowns seeing Reagor actually catching the ball was nice and Ward getting playing time and a touchdown was awesome the defense was good and seeing Cox get the sack was great the O Line was good despite not having Dickerson and Elliot is on fire this year he better make the pro bowl all in all a good win for the birds after a slow start

Considering his age, the limited experience he has and the team around him I think Hurts has played pretty darn good this year.

Wow interesting how the entire comments is talking about how impressive Hurts was. Too bad he had to play half of a team before people started doing that.

We played better than I expected giving everything we went through prior to the game

Good to see Hurts play well. I wish the best for whoever is under center for the Birds.

If eagles ran the ball like this in the first half of the season, no doubt they would be leading nfc east.

Eagles made some early mistakes but we did a good job. 👍

We’re a well balanced team the ability to run and throw the ball, the future is bright 🦅🦅

Looking back on this game, I still wasn't sold on Hurts in 2021. But watching knowing that 2022 he became an MVP candidate, you can see it here. He was improving dangerously fast.

Wash had in a 3rd string QB. Let's not forget that.

Someone please turn off injures in the settings while Washington is playing.

The lead blocking of the Eagles offensive line is something in this game.

Covid only really messed up the one game for them so far. But if any team besides my Eagles are gonna finally win the division twice in a row, I wanted to be Washington. I like a lot of the players, love the coach and I am really sad I don’t get to see any Fitz magic this year

Very possible. The run game is close to unstoppable. And if the defense step up. We got a terrible and inconsistent defense most of the time, though they had their great moments.

as an Eagles fan, Hurts is QB1. Minshew is probably the best backup in the league though too. Hurts’ throwing arm has been getting stronger every single game and he’s obviously getting more and more comfortable against the secondary to throw the ball. plus, his receivers are getting better and developing more too, I liked Reagor’s catches today. Hurts’ dynamic of splitting running and throwing is beautiful, something like an in-progress Wilson or Lamar. He’ll be fun to watch for years to come

going into the season mostly everyone thought philly would win 5 games at max now they are playoff contenders and fighting for a wild card spot

Down 14 with Hurts left to play, needless to say moving onto the next round, Hurts the real deal 😤

The Eagles QB actually played how he’s suppose to. My dad still be proud.
