Same bro. Washington always plays us hard and this year might be the best team they've had in many years with an actually decent/good QB under center (although I still think T. Heineke is underrated). Although I'd rather have these dirty games with teams, more fun to watch, gets your heart pumping, and will teach both teams a lot and help get ready for a long season. Hope the best for that games and hope it's a good one.

Howell is developing well. I liked how he was poised with his INTs against the Bills. He and the team just has to practice scramble drills more, and he should practice the off angle throws he might attempt in a game, the way Mahomes does. Very impressive young QB.

Washington needs an O line badly... but that was a great bounce back game for Howell after last week. Beautiful last minute drive.

The Eagles had this game won with 1:36 to go, but they could have run the clock down and kicked the winning field goal. Instead they gave the Commanders too much time to March down the field for the tying TD and send the game into overtime. Jalen Hurts played a whole lot better today finding A.J. Brown down the field all game. Credit Sam Howell for hanging tough throughout the game and when he had his chance to make plays, he did just that. This was an enjoyable game

I don't entirely disagree, but your defense has to clamp down at some point. Can't let them drive down and score at the last second like that. Plus AJ Brown taunting penalty was dumb. Not saying much because AJ had a whale of a game, but he's got to have better situational awareness than that. You don't taunt when your team is up by only a TD and you just gave the other team 1.34 to tie the game.

As a redskins fan I think there’s too many talented QBs in the league for Sam Howell to be taken seriously. His release is slow as well as his reads and he either holds onto the ball too long to take a sack or just lofts it up for grabs. There is a lot of talent on the offense but his arm and timing is just too mediocre to take advantage of it and it’s embarrassing because it’s the same problem year after year just wasted talent because for over a decade the redskins have been picking QBs who are just mediocre when it’s not hard to watch footage of how someone performs in college or traded from another team to tell if they have a high ceiling or not.

What a great game! Very intense the whole way through. Washington is a scary tram this year.

These are the games that make you better as a team those long drawn out games where you need to find a way to win and the kept grinding. This squad is gonna be hard to deal with this season

Even though they lost, it’s amazing how much the addition of Eric Bienemy has vastly improved this Commanders offense. They just have to shore up that O-line some more. Sam Howell is absolutely their QB of the present and future, though. He’s so poised and calm, despite dealing with high pressure situations. That last-minute drive and last-second touchdown to get them into OT was not something just any Rookie QB can pull off.

Swift reminds me so much of shady McCoy. What a great time to be an Eagles fan

Sam Hallow is a very good quarterback. That kid made some amazing plays. This was a great game.

Washington played hard. Over the years they have upset the Eagles many times. Fortunately today the birds did what needed to be done. Excellent game.

Washington QB got balls he’s a warrior

Even though Washington lost, this still overall mostly feels like a W. Going down to the wire against the Eagles on their turf for the 2nd year in a row is an accomplishment in itself. That 1:43 drive to tie the game showed that Howell can really be clutch for us in the toughest moments, which is the most essential part of being a starting QB. One major Issue I have tho is that I really thought that Rivera should've made the decision to go for 2 after that final touchdown to just finish off that incredible drive for the win, but unfortunately that was not the case. Anyway, GG to the Eagles because they played an incredible game regardless, and I look forward to watching the rematch in a month.

Could've ain't good enough. Why go into extra rounds with a better time, hoping for the best when you can go all or nothing. EB could have cooked something up, win or lose I would have been much finer with that than what occurred, which only makes me now question his touted Offensive "genius". The coaching for the Eagles has been less than impressive this year. Some very dumb play calls and trying to out smart themselves and overthinking things. They’re 4-0 on their pure talent. Definitely not because of the coaching or play calling. Coaches need to be better. Period.

As an eagles fan I still call them the redskins an everyone still will call them that I like them and happy looks like they got a heck of a qb that was awesome rivalry game but glad my eagles pulled it off

I like him far more than Quez. He doesn’t stop his routes, hustles and is very supportive of the other receivers. Gives good energy which is what we need

nah they called it incomplete so they would have to find 100% evidence to reverse it , on one far replay it looks like he did but at the closer angle by the side line you can see a bit of his toe is on the white

Man oh man. This game was up there with the season opener. Got me sweating buckets for both sides. 😅

Respect to the Eagles like a championship team they pulled it out..we got a lot to build off from that game..see ya in Landover in a couple weeks

Im an eagles fan so im glad they won but respect where its due the commanders played a good game.

Its hard to beat a team when they dont make any mistakes and this was mistake free football from both sides. Hell of a game eagles I always hate to lose a close one but im proud of the way my team executed in a hostile environment. I think we might've found ourselves a QB tho

Elliot, without a doubt won the game. Beautiful Hurtsntouchdown pass at the end of the 4th quarter.

Nothing beats a great NFC East rivalry game.

Hurts/PHI are flying high 🦅 at 4-0. Like is said years ago PHI fans you have a QB that will give you a chance for years to come. Clutch game winning drive showed some mental toughness. Have to tip your hat to WAS for coming to play big time. Congrats on the win PHI 👍.

Eagles fan - Philly’s defense benefitted from a weak schedule. Goff was the best QB we played until the SB. Defense was so overrated last year. It’s better this year

@11:02 I was amazed how AJ Brown so big but yet has the ability to stutter and act like he is going for a slant and then dust the CB. Agility 10/10!

The matchup between one of the better D and O lines this league had to offer didnt disappoint in my book but I'm pretty impressed by Howell of the Commanders. Last week was a burn the film kind of game and he clearly did just that. When he sees the throw develop he quickly gets it out of his hand; its hard to tell whats by design via Eric or just him processing the route quickly in spite of pressure. I'm curious as a fan of neither team to see how well this kid grows.

This is what NFC East battles should be. Tough, close game. Lot of adversity. We even have a 10 point comeback win for Hurts against Washington AGAIN. One of the best games of the afternoon.

Toe was definitely on the sideline. You could see the black tip of his shoe compress and there was no grass gap, only the white of the sideline.
