It was good to see a game like this. Hurts had his first poor throw of the season with that pick, and yet he and the team bounced back from being down early. That's what good teams (and good QBs) do.

On a rainy field Eagles didn't have their 2nd best O-lineman Mailata, their 2nd best WR Smith for the major part of the game, their #1 best Secondary player Slay, their 5th best Olineman Seleomalu, and they still won convincingly and covered the spread despite falling behind 14-0 to a highly motivated Jaguars team with a top QB in the league.

I'm kinda glad that they had early adversity. Shows that they arent a paper tiger and will respond when the situation calls for it. 29 unanswered points before Jax put up a TD. Defense came to play. Rain definitely was a factor so I'm not surprised that the ground game came up big.

It was catchable. Rain was a serious factor more for the Jags than the Eagles. momentum would have carried if no turnovers on that 21-0 lead. It would have been a blowout, but only lost by 8 with 5 turnovers? It's over now, regardless of the outcome as my prior statement remains relevant.

They’re still lethal at running the ball, Hurts has matured as a passer, and the defense has looked like a machine ever since that Lions game Week 1. I seen the end score and still watching that first quarter was scary. Eagles changed tempo up while jags got tired. I love the eagles. Wish Dawkins could’ve got a ring still.

I hope there was an injury or similar reason for limiting James Robinson to a mere 8 touches. He was a walk-on who superseded a top draft choice (Fournette). He's still young, a major developing talent who ran for 1000 yds a couple of years ago. But he needs 20-30 carries per game to show his elite skills. On a wet field his low enter of gravity would have benefited the Jags tremendously. But he needs to get a feel for the grass, the wet ball, and the flow of the game.

I agree - the Eagles pulled out the win even without Jordan Mailata having left the game earlier. The Eagles finally put the points on from behind, but remember there was still a key dropped pass near the goal line & a missed field goal. Can you imagine how many more points they could've scored? Scary indeed - w/ room for improvement. Go Eagles!!!!

Mannnn what a game way to keep fighting on every level. Just hoping all the injuries suffered this game aren't to serious though 🤞

I think this game was a good sign for both teams. Jags had 5 turnovers against a top team and kept it close. Eagles had 5 or 6 starters out, threw a pick 6 and still won. Great game all around!

Honestly tho I don’t think anyone could’ve seen the Eagles go 4-0 to start the season , they are SCARY good , loving the conference jalen hurts is playing with

The way they were down two scores and just flipped a switch, midgame and started scoring is actually kind of scary
