I know we were hyping up Jalen Carter before the season even started, but it is still so amazing to see him COMPLETELY live up to the hype. You don't usually see that happen to this extent, but he is reaching and even exceeding expectations. He is a DROY candidate 100%.

His talent was never in question. but when NFL teams who were scouting him and talked to his coaches. They found that not 1 of his coaches would go to bat for him. Not 1. Attitude issues. Punching team mates, personality issues and then of course his accident. that led to a death. He's in the right place in philly for now. And hopefully they can instill some positive characteristics in him. Before he becomes the star of the team and isn't able to be told what to do or how to act.

I love the way DeAndre swift is running. He was a steal for Howie. This team is talented from the front office down to the practice squad. It's great being an eagles fan

I was happy we signed him. He was breaking our back last year week one when we played the Lions. I think a lot of people forget the Lions gave us one of our toughest games last year. And it was mostly because DeAndre Swift was running all over us 🙂

They're back together and feeding off each other. Jordan needed a year to hit his stride at this level but Jalen came out swinging right out of the gate. As a 63 year old lifelong Birds fan it's been a thing of beauty to see these two very young beasts take over a game.

Tampa has to be happy with Baker, loss and all. He went against an Epic d and showed grit.

I respect Mayfield. He's been with the team literally 3 weeks and 1 day... Kids got heart. I respect the hell out of him. No one should be criticizing him at all. Dude has zero chemistry with the team and he's still earning a paycheck he deserves regardless. True professional, true ball player, dude wears himself on his sleeve. Nothing bad to say about baker at all.

Last year our defense was a problem but this year they look locked in. Especially in defending run game.

Great overall game birds. Lets keep it going.
