#1 in completions over 20+ yards isn't a "good" stat to showcase QBs, especially when you have WR/RB with very high YACs. That being said, he's 12th in intended yard throws (meaning he's slightly above average for QB distance thrown per attempt) But, he's tied for 2nd in Air Yards / Completion (with Stafford). He's also first in Completed Air Yards / Attempt, meaning that he's being pretty accurate when throwing for how far he's throwing

Purdy is number one in essentially every QB efficiency metric. He should be the MVP frontrunner. He also had a perfect passer rating today. Crazy

Its insane to me that Purdy posts a perfect rating and haters still wont give him his respect. Its incredibly hard to do (only happened 80 times in nfl history out of 17,5xx games). No matter how good his skill players are HE has to make the throws, HE has to not throw a pick, HE has to have the rushing yards. A perfect passer rating is a qb only stat. Guve the man his flowers. From dead last pick to starter with a perfect passer rating in 2 years is absolutely incredible.

Yeah I agree with you... It reminds me back in the 1970s with Terry Bradshaw he was the quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers when they won their four super bowls yet people can don't consider him One of the greatest quarterbacks ever live due to the fact that he had the steel curtain he had 2 Hall of Fame receivers and a holla Fame running back as well as a Hall of Fame center.... During the super bowl against the Rams he even threw 3 interceptions but they end up winning that super bowl too because of the defense and if you look at his stats he through the same amount of touchdowns as interceptions..... So a lot of people think that Brock prudy isn't the same position having a lot of weapons around him... But in my personal opinion that it's still too early to tell despite him having a winning record as a starting quarterback.. technically he hasn't even played a full season yet I believe but I do like how he responded when they had that three game losing streak.. he threw five pics... But he plays well against the Jacksonville jaguars and had a perfect passing rating...

It's ok happens to the best of them but the rookie safety redeemed himself by getting that stoppage and interception. bosa & young got critical sacks towards the end

Brock Purdy is amazing for what he has done for this game VS TB. And the defense done it too, but the run game for our D-Line has been a struggle too defending the run against the Buccaneers offense who made plays with ease. WHAT A WIN FOR SF!!.💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️🔥

He is a top 5 QB. Thats not a hot take any more. Purdy leads the league or is top 5 in almost very conceivable QB metric. Him and CJ are MVP front runners and anyone disagreeing with both those statements are stupid at this point.

Baker might have some more time to throw if the center snapped a consistent ball.

Baker is showing he belongs in the NFL. I'm glad he's getting another shot after being humbled.

We were on top last week to because Seahawks were 1-1 in the division. We were 2-0. Seahawks have to beat us Thursday if they want to stay in contention for top nfc west spot. If we beat them Thursday they will be 1-4 in division tie breaker and we will be 3-0.

I would take Purdy anytime over Hurts. Purdy is much more mature and accurate as well.

As a 49ers fan great game performances from the 49ers defense and offense but I’m worried about Hufanga’s health because he probably most likely tore his acl but still Nice to see brown get his 1st nfl pick so let’s see what he can do and if he plays well if Hufanga misses the rest of the season but great peformences from Purdy, kittle, Aiyuk, CMC and Debo and the defense and the quest for Super Bowl number 6 begins as we run the NFC west

Jayir isn't very fast but he has great nose for the ball. Was always making plays at Penn State.

Bucs had their chances for sure. Not a fan of either team but they were in the red zone a bunch and turned the ball over. Can’t do that. They score on those possessions and this game is super tight. Can’t blow those opportunities
