As a diehard Birds fan, I can tell you the first half was absolutely awful to watch. The second half was amazing. That pick by McLeod really shifted momentum, and then couple that with the touchdown pass to Lane Johnson, it was overall an amazing game. Very satisfied right now.

As an Eagles fan I'm glad we're at least over 500 even when we're rebuilding. Unlike Giants fans who claimed before the season started that they could get 10-12 wins and a playoffs spot this season.

The fact that the Eagles are still in the playoff fight, let alone even in contention for the division (although I doubt they win that) is so impressive! They might be that lovable underdog this year!

Either way, the whole league considered the Eagles a dumpster fire team that was ranked dead last in our division this year so to even still be in the hunt is one hell of an accomplishment especially with a completely brand new coaching staff, and basically first-year QB.
It’s very rare that a Philly sports team actually surpasses expectations. Going into this season, I don’t think any Eagles fans were expecting to be anywhere close to the playoffs. But here we are now. It’s also hilarious that we’re in Year 1 of our rebuild and we’re already better than the Giants who are in around Year 4 of their rebuild.

Good thing football is played with two halves. That first half was brutal for both teams.
Remember, the Eagles are sailing the ship with a first-year coach and first-year starting QB. Playing meaningful games after Christmas is already a win. If you think otherwise, another team with a first-year coach and first-year starting QB is *Jacksonville* so it could be way, way worse.

Yeah, those first two quarters were a sleep walking contest.
From 2-5 to 8-7. However, the Eagles need to do something about these slow starts because realistically they're a couple of TDs down at half time against a capable team.

The young WR core for Philly is promising. Reminds me of the 04’ birds with TO, Pinkston, and Freddie. Miss that Jim Johnson defense, but next year should be phenomenal if the squad stays healthy.

This is no longer "rebuilding" for the Giants, it's just bad football that can't get much worse. You can blame injuries forever, but it's far worse than that. Just look what the Colts did yesterday with half their starters out, they beat one of the best teams in the league. Good coaches find ways to at least be competitive. These Giants can't compete with anyone. They suck. It's the owners fault for hiring such an inexperienced coach. They need to spend some $ and hire a proven coach. They also need to stop giving big contracts to running backs and wide receivers, and start building the oline they should've built five years ago.

Giants will be same next year as they are this year, just pitiful. Mara is the worse owner in football and signing Gettleman as GM wasted a whole decade. It will take 2-4 years for the Giants to get rid of all the ridiculous expensive contracts for players like Bradberry, Jackson, Ryan, Galloway, and Rudolph that amounted to nothing. Now Mara brings back a pathetic special teams coach who has learned nothing in his two years here for third one along with Danny Jones.

Sounds like recency bias, if you can show even one clip of anything like this from college or this year I'll eat my words but just saying hyperbole instead of saying this catch was incredible is silly if you can't show he's done that before. College you only need 1 foot so i doubt you find this.

If you don't find out if he can be this teams qb then this first year rebuild was for nothing, don't get blinded by the 17 games/ 3rd wild card deception, the only thing that matters is finding out if Jalen is the guy. For this modern game of you can't throw you are so behind the 8 ball it isn't funny. The days when you could have a below ave QB and great run game/ defense win a chip are over.

I have to say, as a lifelong, diehard eagles fan, BOSTON SCOTT IS SO UNDERRATED. Like Lamar Jackson is the first QB who actually truly reminded me of Michael Vick, well Boston Scott is the 1st HB who truly reminds me of Darren Sproles. They dont use him enough nor utilize him to shine his potential, however, even with what Boston Scott gets thrown into, he makes a great play every time he touches the ball 💯 Boston Scott should get a minimum 4-5 year deal w Philly. Hes fantastic. He just makes plays no matter What situation hes thrown into

Yeah it was because normally the offensive line doesn’t get the ball thrown to them due to having to block so seeing that happen was awesome

I mean they are Eagles fans. Not Hurts fans. I don't remember the last time the fans embraced a QB. Probably Foles but even he caused some division by the fanbase so I would say Vick was the last time we all loved a QB. Either way were all Eagles fans not Hurts fans so as long as they are supporting the team then thats all that matters. It's either Hurts proves the fans wrong or he doesn't. Time will tell.

I get it now. Hurts is just a slow starter. Once he gets comfortable after a couple of running plays he can sling it all over the field. He's still got work but there is no denying the chemistry he has with his players espec Devonte. Dont waste a pick on a QB this yr. We good.

Sheesh browns are in same spot with baker they should lean on this horrible outcome as guidance. Wentz was always higher end player than baker ever could be.

Hurts did not ball out. His throw to Smith would have been a TD if he actually led him, he started the game 8/18, other balls under thrown. Ya, we won. But Hurts threw the ball like trash

Eagles have talent at WR, TE, and RB, QB, but to be totally honest, they are really the byproduct of their Offensive Line, which is absolutely phenomenal, especially when they are healthy. The Defensive Line is almost as good, they are a solid group who still hasn't reached their potential yet, but their O-line when healthy is just nasty.

Jalen got huge bailout from Smith and quez making crazy catches, listen to the announcers dude was already like yikes cause the throw to quez was horrible but somehow he came down with it. Smith had to stop, jump and turn inside to catch what should have been a deep ball lead to his right shoulder. Jalen is horrible any other team this is going to be a loss.
