Oregon is arguably a better team than Texas. Oregon's offense was #2 in the nation in ppg and ypg (better than Texas). Oregon's defense was better than Texas in ppg, ypg, and even sacks per game......Texas might win, but in no way shape or form was Texas better than Oregon.

People talk about how Oregon gave the game to the Huskies with the playcalls but I disagree. That assumes Washington was passive and didn’t do anything wrong. The Huskies committed penalties at crucial times, allowing the Ducks to stay in the game. For instance, the first penalty by #25 of the Huskies defense with unsportsmanlike conduct allowed the Ducks to keep the drive alive and to score the TD that allowed them the momentary 8-7 lead The Huskies defense is fine but can improve. However, penalties need to be addressed for them to earn Pac-12 Championship and CFP berths

@@BoominCentralmeaningless stats mean nada. The Huskies had the lead for most of the game, and then put it away when needed. Hang your heads on yards, we hang on points. That loser mentality will hurt you every time. Your only chance to win was to go for it on 4th down.

Dunno why so many people don't like the music. Definitely makes the video better IMO.

It was an amazing competitive high scoring game I saw in Husky Stadium. I was very happy I saw the Huskies defeat the Ducks.

Looking at the bigger picture, The Huskies clearly out played Oregon...

This is an NFL level passing offense.

Keyword there is "Usually". I wouldn't consider either fanbase to have much, if any, hillbilly-ness to it. That honor would go to each team's in-state rival (Beavs and Cougs).

One school is smack dab in one of the largest cities in the country, the other is in their third most populated in the state. That said, Seattles metro population is almost as large as the entire state of Oregon. However, these are the two flagship schools in their respective states, the “ state” schools are more rural.

They were champs whether you like it or not. 12-0 an beat Michigan by 20 in the Rose Bowl, an Michigan had a very late score in that game. They smoked em.
