Big fan of Clark but the play at 2.28 is inexcusable. Turnovers happen, especially when you are the driving force of your team and are pushing to make something happen, but how she reacted to it and her lack of effort in stopping a transition just isn't good enough. She is an incredible player but it will take time for her to mature into a more complete player.

She does have a habit of getting frustrated with bad plays. She could've expected the player she was passing to to take a more post up position, or maybe to not have both team mates go to the same spot on a break, but is was a bad pass by her.

Yeah ... that was bad. Hopefully a learning moment for her. Obviously turnovers are the biggest thing she has to work on moving forward, but there is a noticeable lack of effort on defense sometimes. She needs to work on that too. I'm sure she will.

Well you all made her media hype the "Darling" of the Wnba. She does nothing special that vets like Sabrina Ionescu or Kelsey (yum, yum ) Plum 😍already been doing for years. In this game, She pushed away 2 players from the Mystics. 1 was later in the 4th when her team was still down. The Mystics coach challenged what should have been a fowl on Clark, they reviewed the call and still gave to ball back to CC? Goes to show, "I guess she has a special whistle"? Btw: What good is all those points if your team still lost? 😄

Those turnovers killed the fever! This is why you don't take your opponents lightly.

Kelsey Mitchell going oh for eight attempts at 3-points didn't help. Erica Wheeler should be the point guard to set up Clark Boston and Mitchell. She should be bringing down the ball and setting up plays. Clark playing way too many minutes. Quality output suffers.

Caitlin Clark needs more help. This team is pretty woeful if she’s putting up those numbers and they aren’t winning.

Fever beats Liberty to lose to Mystics without Sykes and Austin ... very sad story. And they should realize that if they play 3/4 of the game really badly, they won't always save it in the last quarter.

Turnovers and second chance points hurt the Fever today.

Almost a miraculous comeback by the Fever, they have to make runs throughout the game and not just when they need it late. Also, they waited too long to put Hull back in the game. The energy/momentum is off with the Fever. Mitchell had a bad game, it happens. There is potential in both of these teams to be pretty good. Mystics were a slouch early on.

No one guarded her, she’s shooting an open shot that’ll kill any team. Because she’s a great shooter, good teams are going to D’ her up. That’s use basic basketball knowledge.

Fever should be disappointed with the game. Honourable losses don't qualify you for finals. Surprised Boston and Mitchell were so quiet. Never a sign of health when the offence collapses so much to one pkayer, much better when its spread. Bad games happen, but its how the team responds, regardless of opponent, that will determine whether they are finals ready. Good teams don't drop streaks of games in a row. They fight back.

the fever coach can't get the defense corrected, everyone is standing around like statues on every defensive possesion. cut down the turnovers and somebody play some defence please. a boston had a really poor game, 6 points.

👏🏿 salute to the Mystics; they didn’t do the doormat thing today. No one wins everything, but the Fever let themselves down going from the Liberty to this. NY didn’t take the Fever seriously, and they paid for it. The Fever benefit from that lesson and follow it up doing the same thing. Not good enough.

The entire league is weak on defense really. Every game I have seen this year both teams that are playing just constantly are letting easy buckets under the rim it's just insane just constant lay-ups. You don't see anyone really getting down in defensive stance and sliding. All the teams really just look like they are going through the motions so they can just get ready to go on offense.

Not starting Smith and giving Wallace playing time really cost us in this game and you don't give a player the final three-pointer who is 0for7

The talent pool in the WNBA is insane. Fever can beat the Liberty one day and then lose to a team with only 5 wins on the season.

Wheeler is quite good at the back cut and running in transition!

Lots of positives for the Fever even with the loss. Caitlin is getting more confident and Lexie Hull is playing well as is NaLyssa Smith. Even though they lost the game, they showed so much. The Mystics have always shot the ball well but couldn't seem to close out games so now they too are getting better. Indiana though has learned a lot here I'm thinking.

She floats on defense snag from behind, mostly blocks. She's not locking down anybody on defense. Weak side help blocks. Aja Willison and AB have real blocks.

@mischievoustimes8460 you comparing how a center blocks a shot vs. how a point guard does? What's a "real" block? Weak side help blocks prevent buckets the same way as "real" ones...if you wanna talk about "real blocks" those usually involve jumping too, which rarely occurs on any WNBA block.

Not a good loss. Terrible defense. At least need to separate themselves from the bottom half of the league.
