Clark by far has the best passing and court vision. She finds them and creates good shots for them. Mitchell creates her shots and Boston can be fed in the posts but the most reliable way for them to score is with Clark passing it to them or Clark leading the action that finds a pass to them. Wallace is good at finding Boston too when she feels like it, or Wheeler.

@@jessiewade9202 My point is that's who the play is going through. Clark doesn't simply feed the post and say Boston you take it from here. She gets the ball and distributes it so she is the focal point of the offense. And why are coaches putting Clark first on the scouting reports, number one priority, if Mitchell and Boston are better? They have to think Clark is the best and most dangerous to assign her the most defensive attention. Right now Clark isn't the best scorer or best defender, but still overall, she gets the most attention out of anyone from the defense.

When DT talked about “grown azz women” this is what she was talking about. Wasn’t hate, just facts. Clark is very good, but this notion she was going to walk into the W and dominate as a rookie was BS.

Unfortunately, you just have to ride the media-created hype a little longer. Once the Fever are out of playoff contention, her fans will disappear. They are NOT WNBA fans...they are Caitlin Clark fans. Believe me, the rest of the league can't wait for them to go away. It's like with LeBron, the announcers have a narrative to push, but instead of showing any journalistic integrity, they just go with the narrative and try to prop up every little thing she does, which is MEDIOCRE at best. Her fans actually believe that no one shot 3s before Clark came into the league. Mind you, players like Ionescu, Ogunbowale, and Plum all have higher percentages than Clark, but the media won't tell you that. A friend of mine told me a few weeks ago that she was #4 on ESPN's Top Plays, and it was a layup...A LAYUP. That is one of myriad reasons while the vast majority of people don't watch that program anymore. Great win for the Aces though!!!!!!! I'm excited to watch Plum and Wilson in the Olympics, and you won't have to worry about Clark. Outside of her delusional fan base, no one will miss her.

The Aces are incredible and have been for a while. When healthy, they should win it all. Having said that I love to see logo 3's and creative passes. CC is just fun to watch. The sad part is the her fans will blame Boston and Mitchell for the loss even though, once again, BOTH of them outscored her. I've never seen such an overrated, overhyped player in my life. A’ja’s ball handling was outstanding!!!!!! Crossing over folks at the top of the key AND driving to the paint with and 1s! And the blocks too!! She showed out! The 4th was Kelsey’s!! She went into high mode! And Jackie completely shutdown Clark on defense! Again! Got all in her head. Jackie effectively has the defense down against her!

@@dontaybell5902 Yep!! Jackie’s already scouted that she can’t really dribble to her right and keeps her in angled to cut that off. I will say a couple times, Young got behind her or guarded beside her versus face-to-face and Clark was able to slip by her. (And Young tends to go over the screens versus under and it makes her like one step behind. Not this particular game). But Jackie’s defense against Clark reminds me of Raven Johnson’s on South Carolina when they played Iowa in the championship game! They know her habits well and weak points very well! Just super effective physically and mentally.

@RyanM-gc4og Clark is the third best player ON HER OWN TEAM. Mitchell is better and Boston is better. Clark has more potential but throwing up air balls from the logo and being a turnover machine isn’t going to get it. She needs to learn from what she saw in the last two games.

CC got her grits cooked and served. Its one thing to lose but to have a bad game in an L is even worse. Aja and Kelsey put on a full display of efficiencey.

So how should Copper feel about how CC outplayed her in the Sunday game with the Mercury? So what? Learn from this game, watch tape, move on to the next challenge. Copper scored over 20 in the next game. CC is up against the top team in the league in the next game so it's a big challenge. Hopefully, the Fever will be competitive in that game. Move on. Well both are true. CC's turnovers can be attributed to both of those things, her making a bad pass and her teammates not anticipating or catching the ball well. I saw an interview recently where AC from the ACES saying that that was something she had to learn to do with Chelsea. The Fever needs to spend time over the break really doing some passing and catching drills.

Plum went nuts. But you can see alot of good on fever side. Boston/clark are really figuring out the pick and roll stuff. Boston is getting that the space Cc created on threes leaves big offensive rebound opportunities. Everyone seems to be playing more unselfish. Offensively I think fever are gonna be very good very quickly. Defensively they stink.

She will be much better once she can just play instead of being used as the face of white supremacy. She needs to get quicker, and not be so predictable and one dimensional offensively. She showed some handles and penetration this game. I was surprised and happy to see her effectively drive the ball for once. She is trying to be who the media wants her to be, instead of figuring out what works.

Clearly neither of you have been watching her much. She is in a shooting slump. She will likely shoot her way out of that. We all know she can shoot. She does need to reduce the turn overs. 5 or less per game should be good. Better coaching and lots of practice together should reduce turn overs across the team. They had no offensive game plan or any set plays from game one. Sides just sends them out there with no plan. She hasnt even taught them to set a proper screen.

Bring the ball into the space where she can either drive, dish to the post or kick it back out for a three. She wants to be all things to all people but she simply isn’t that player. She can’t compete on the inside with those bigs and those low percentage 3’s while they look good in the highlight reel are a turnover when they are an air ball.

They played OK. Their 2nd quarter wasn't good and their 4Q was abysmal. But they were competitive in the 1st and outscored the Aces in the 3rd. Problem was they missed too many shots and their defense was in shambles.

Las Vegas took Indiana to school! A'ja showing us time & time again why she is the best player in the league. Doing the work on both sides of the ball. Oh & Kelsey's 34 piece wasn't too bad huh?

That Mercury lose was a fluke & dumb luck by the Fever. Kahleap Cooper, Natasha Cloud & Bec Allen basically sold out or took a dive in that game, these three women are usually are consistent scoring players, they were playing unusual & very suspect against The Fever. Taurasi was hurt & not herself in the game. Brittany Griner & Sophie Cunningham were the only two players to show up on The mercury against The Fever on Sunday. The Rematch is on July 14th & The Mercury will play for payback.

It was entertaining reading some of the comments by Clark's delusional fans acting like Clark played Taurasi one-on-one lol. The Mercury are sitting pretty in the 6th spot, while the Fever are in the 9th spot. Taurasi is twice Clark's age and at the tail end of her career, yet Taurasi has a HIGHER FIELD GOAL PERCENTAGE AND 3-POINT SHOOTING PERCENTAGE than Clark. Clark is not even in the Top 15 of players, while Taurasi sits nicely at #12. But Clark's fans acted like they'd won the championship because of ONE win against the Mercury. I have never seen a more insufferable group of people before. They are at least 90% of the reason why the majority of people outside of the Fever fan base dislike Clark so much.
