I'm gonna rig up a dozen or so of these and run them through a motion sensor and place them in obscure locations around my yard. Hopefully, would-be thieves will mistake them for highly vigilant/noisy sentries.

It would have been sold by ALDI supermarkets, they import all kinds of junk!. it was just a generic China made Samsung PDP module, very cheap nasty TV

That exact model was actually our first "HD" TV, even though it only had a panel resolution of 1366x768. I didn't know they were imported to australia in the end... They didn't sell well here and in australia you have the same 230V and the PAL TV system (at least had it until 3/12/13 when your analogue cable was turned off)... So that makes sense.

My god, that washing machine took a while to die :-) Beware lcd/plasma tv's that dare not to work in australia, lol

you need to call a repairman. That thing didn't chime at the end of the cycle.

I feel really sorry for this guys neighbors. They must HATE him. Running loud ass old engines, hearing shit like this. I'd be quite pissed if my neighbor did this all day.

it was a bargain basement plasma TV that blew up, I parted it, fried the panel with a MOT and bolted it to the top of the washer for fun :D
