Highest point in Xavi's Barça was (Imo) 3-1 supercopa final. Title and setting the course for the league to follow
It was a moderate success TBH. Barca won the league once and finish 2nd twice under Xavi. Given the financial situation and the average squad it was good spell.
People forget easily where Barca was before Xavi arrived. The slate of young players he bloodied that will now be the foundation of the squad. He accomplished a lot and was therefore a success.

Yes,Xavi took Barcelona from 9th position to second position ,introduced young players and won league and supacup in his first season. Barcelona under Xavi lacked clear vision. Yes we playing possession football but old school type of possession football whereas PEP who made football the world to love possession football has evolved possession football to direct attacking in City. Xavi was still stuck in old school type of possession football of indirect attacking, ball possession at all cost and no intensity in attacking.
Appreciate the videos looking forward to the fun stuff in the offseason
Considering the situation he walked into from the getgo, it was a modreate success.
It was a success. Hope he returns one day
I've been waiting all week for your upload. Looking forward to hearing your opinions on flick. Because I'm still on the fence
Half a success. This last season was a complicated mess when we lost Dembele and Busi plus all the injuries. I also think letting Ansu go was a huge error. Add to this debut seasons for both Joaos, Gundo and Romeu youbcan see why we put in some right old stinkers this season which were quite alarming and he just couldn't get the team to settle down and gather momentum at a critical point. I am excited to see what Hansi brings.
Good discussion Dan but a bit moot. It was a mixed bag but he has left a good foundation for Flick to build on . As a coach with not so much experience persuaded to take over by infamous Laporta he did his best. Let's see what Papa Flick world class etc can and will do. The only thing that bothers me is the lies that are let out gradually to still tarnish him. After all Flick is supposed to have done a good evaluation of the team before coming and said the squad was good enough to achieve success. Now he arrives and suddenly they are talking of buying players.
Saying that xavi using the excuse of the club being in a bad position , doesnt hold any water is very very weird when you actually look at the 11 he had to field out before his january window and even after . Are we saying that a window of auba , adama , 39 year old alves and ferran is the club being in a good position ? And in the summer he got those players and won 2 trophies with them . This summer he pretty much got none of his targets and lost the most important player in terms of how barca want to play .So it would have been a great over achievement if he even won 1 trophy
Barca was a successful training course for Xavi and a frustrating experience for the fans

You look like Mr. Poppy Pants
How is this kicking him out the door? ..xavi caused this . Xavi changed his mind when he saw the team was playing better when he announced his departure. So it starts there . We have this bias toward xavi but koeman who is a big legend also, did not leave in good terms either but everyone is quiet. We cant be bias toward who we like more .

The entire club is a failure. Madrid wins its 15th CL. 6 in 10. Ridiculous. Barca are pretenders trapped in nostalgia. There is no argument: Madrid is the greatest club in the world. Here we are debating about useless players like Frenkie and Ansu. We are totally out of Madrid's league. Xavi Simons? 🤮?? Meanwhile Madrid has constructed a club, and a midfield that will be top for a decade.
