Packers taking Jordan Morgan was the largest reach. Penix at least deserved to go around that spot, just not to Atlanta.

Neither Keon or Ladd ever reached 800 yards in a season. Ladd even had a 15 game season in 2022. Pearsall got 965 in 12 games last year with lesser QB play.

I wasn’t shocked at all, I had him as a high 2nd round pick. I feel like he can be a really really good nfl slot wr. He’s got good quickness and rac skills. He’s tough. I think he’s a perfect fit for Shanahan and the niners. Not sure how anyone could possibly think this was more shocking than the falcons taking 2nd round quarterback at number 8 after they payed a quarterback 180 million dollars.

Come back to this video in two years….they gon see. Pearsall is a future star.

I watched him play at Arizona State before he transferred and he was a beast back then, but they weren’t using him right. Glad to see he made it to the NFL.

As a Florida fan, watching just about all his games, this guy is really good. I think he’ll surprise you next year and moving forward. Quick, good route runner, will be productive. I agree he doesn’t have the upside of a normal first rounder, which is why I expected him too go early second, but I don’t feel like it’s a huge reach

I am always a believer if a guy is there you like you take him. Doesn't matter what scouts and others say. What makes you think if they waited for day 2 he would have been there. They had a low day 2 pick.

This kid can ball. I watched those Florida games and even as a U.M. fan I'm happy he's graduated because he's a beast.

Dude is going to be a star. 49ers playing chess not checkers. He’s a perfect fit for Shanahan’s system. #2 receiver in the class against man coverage, 99th percentile athlete, can play X,Y, and Z. Great blocker and return man too. High character locker room guy. People knock him for his production, but he never had consistent qb play and was always changing offenses. This pick is an obvious win. Great breakdown video man! Definitely earned my follow.

No, Aiyuk will NOT be traded --- the skillset Pearsall has replaces Deebo. His days are numbered.

This was a QB friendly pick for the 49ers. He’s there to move the chains between the hashes.

Pearsall 40 time: 4.41 Keon Coleman 40 time: 4.61 That’s a big difference.

When 1 if the wideouts r traded. He will be the number 2 on SF. And a damn good one. Reliable. Smart. Strong willed. A team player. And with deebo and Kittle and McCaffery there. Thats what they needed. A dude that can put up and lay down 800 yards and 8 tds. Also be used in kick game and run the ball here and there. Perfect pick for.thjs team

“Not the greatest athlete” lol dude had a 42 inch vertical and ran a 4.4. And had the 2nd best 3 cone drill in the entire draft class (at the combine) He was one of the top 5 WRs in the entire class as far as athletic testing. And he had like the 7th best bench press. Ya I’d say he is a helluva athlete.
