He's not that bad, his match with Jacob Fatu in MLW was amazing and he also had a great match with MJF in AEW. He just needs to be given a proper chance.

To be fair, he doesn't get much time in the ring. That's one of my big problems with AEW, they'll give a guy some time or a segment and then they'll go missing for weeks. Like this story right here between the Varsity Blondes and the House of Black is a hot story, it should be on TV every week til it's conclusion.

​@@effayeyeayzed I agree, a name change isnt necessary but if they did it i think it would be a nice little touch, and of course, it doesnt have to be "blackheart"...BUT if she does join it would be cool to see her get initiated by having her first tattoo (i think that would be a really cool vignette). For the record, if Julia isnt comfortable getting a tattoo then i dont think its right to force something like that on somebody but a tattoo does fit the part perfectly and would signify that the "good girl cheerleader" is committed to the HoB.

There's "long-term storytelling" and then there's just plain dragging shit out longer than it needs. It's not like has been five months of constant story and progress, either. This is where they should have been after two months. When was the last time it took someone five months to do a heel turn? And for what benefit?

Why turn her in a segment, when you can use the turn to win a match? Julia's character arc is far more interesting this way, anyway. It's not that the black mist has spooky mystical properties, it's that she is being allured psychologically, but can't yet bring herself to turn on the VBs. This can give her an awful lot more character depth than a turn now.

@Read this comment👇🏻 I think they have a justification for it though If you can remember ALLL the way back to when this storyline started, Brian caught some of the spray from Julia. I could see it being a cool thing, where because he only caught some of it, it awakens his "Loose Cannon" side, but it doesn't turn him fully heel, it just makes him this intense and unpredictable Antihero.

Malakai Black has his half face covered by the shade of evil, while Julia Hart is struggling with just her eye and personality. Death Triangle & Varsity Blondes saw how much she's been acting different.

This was a weird segment. Definitely a missed opportunity to not fully turn Julia considering she’s got nothing else going on.

It’s killing me but I like the slow build of this. One they teased it to see how invested the crowd is in this storyline. Then instead of instantly having her turn, she second guesses herself and the HoB abuse her to establish that they are still heels and shouldn’t be cheered for. This is good pacing and character building.

@@levih7326 Eh. It's more enjoyable to have Julia sort of "discover her true self" and the mist is just a way to do that. It gets bland and lame to have them try to "kidnap" her or whatever. She was clearly becoming one of them on her own over time. Cheering for heels is open minded and a lot more interesting, sometimes those are the better characters plain and simple

Good pacing my ass. I have had family members with cancer get diagnosed, process and come to peace with it, and die faster than this storyline has progressed in any meaningful way. When her heel turn finally happens in a few more decades, if the overwhelming thought of fans watching is "about fucking time", that's not good booking or long term storytelling, that's shit

If Julia Hart doesn't turn at by or right after Double or Nothing then it is a waste of a really good potential storyline. There is slow burn an no burn.

I tried to tell the FB group, you can do long term storytelling all you want, but if your story is straightforward A to B to C you don't need 5 months of Julia Hart looking sad to turn her heel. For example, Julia Hart doesn't want to turn on the Blonds but every time we see her on Dark and Elevation she's a full on heel who cheats if needs to. So..they're dragging the story out just to drag it out.

It definitely seems dragged out…but I’m all for it. I love AEW’s commitment to long-term booking with this storyline. As long as Julia Hart ends up in the House of Black, I’m willing to let this play out as long as it needs to.

Julia couldn't hide her smile with the pop she got when Matthews guided her to Garrison.

there was no need to keep dragging this on, she shouldve turned right there. love the angle, but this was the time. i at least hope she still turns in the near future and they’re not just gonna drop it.

I feel like people would be a lot less fatigued with this story if it didn't start back in December then get absolutely iced for like 3 months in the middle. There's a difference between long term booking and drawn out booking. Still having some hope for this angle though, but gotta pull that trigger soon.

Yo that was a GREAT promo by Brian Pillman. I feel like each time he gets on the microphone, he just gets better & better. I'm telling ya his dad had to be watching from the big sky with a big smile on his face saying "That's my boy. That's my little Loose Cannon."

Maybe some vignettes to set the mood with pillman. Hes good at promos, he just needs to deliver them a little better maybe just change the pace and tone in his voice, learn to play the crowd because they dont seem to be very into his promos when he speaks.

I have seen/expected Hart's heel turn ever since she got misted. But it's drawn out too long. Last night should have been the final piece of the turn. But nope........ And when last night's promo began, I got the feeling that Pillman was going to turn with her, and attack Garrison....To say that I am doubly (sp) disappointed is an understatement.

I know AEW will learn from our fan apathy to this segment. This was the right time to make Julia Hart give in to the corruption, and they didn't pull the trigger. But if there's anything they've proven, it's that they WILL change course upon seeing bad fan reaction.

I think it's time for the Varsity Blondes to break up. Please send Griff Garrison to the Factory. Put him in a tag team with Aaron Solo. Promote big Nick Camarato back into singles matches. He's ready to be the monster heel for Q.T. Marshall. As for Hart and Pillman Jr., I wish them well, but Pillman's magical mullet no longer works. The Varsity Blondes helped get AEW launched, but it's in the best interests of everyone to break the team up for new challenges and opportunities.

If you watch Dark, it works. Every time the VB comes out, she just sits on the steps. When she has a match, she grows more and more vile in the ring. Mostly very subtle details. This run in here moves her from being front and center to srll just being slightly in the background of everyone fighting, which very much feeds in to her feeling lost and alone instead of one with her team. Not to mention, her acting in this angle is great. It may be a slow moving story, but if they just had her go all black in like 2 weeks it wouldn't matter as much. So far I love this angle and I think/hope it will have a nice payoff

The only wrong decision here was NOT PULLING THE TRIGGER on Julia's turn. I've never seen such an easy home run get backed down from and thrown away like this.

Likely Fenix's injury, that hump of pre DoN2019 guys contracts coming up creating a scramble to figure out who's going to stay, and working on building stables around likely long termers or a solid foundation to get it where there's a bit more ability to have easy storylines. Julia's likely to turn at DoN, and the VBs split by All In.

Highlight of the night without doubt. Astounding that Julia kept this angle going almost exclusively on Dark & Elevation (With input from Malakai i'm guessing?) and sometimes not being on those shows for a month at a time, for 4 months to get to this point. Whipped the crowd up into a fervor reminiscent of the 2 man power trip versing Lita, Proving how much presence and impact the House of Black AND Julia in this angle have. But disappointed everyone who wanted the "immediate" (after 4 months) turn. Flattened the crowd when she didn't turn lol. Hopefully they're just milking the fall/turn longer as AEW does and hopefully this isn't the end of all that work without the proper payoff of Julia "Black" Hart 🖤 I love this story.

We were cheering for Julia to do it. We were all sad she didn’t. It was also way darker in this video than it was actually in the stadium.

the only reason i find for this, is that Julia is gonna make Varsity to trust on her, and at the end betray them

we need those Ministry of Darkness type of segments

This was the perfect moment for Julia Hart to turn heel and join House of Black. Even the crowd were into it. I hope it will be worth the wait.

HoB is awesome! Nevertheless, I'm disappointed with what didn't happen. It's been dragging on so it was the time for Julia to turn heel. This is definitely what the viewers wanted and expected. Not sure how they can execute it now.

The opportunity was right there... I really don't know if they will have another good chance like this one 🤔 The crowd was with The House of Black and they could get a big pop on the end of the segment!

House of Black's entrance is so damn appealing god damn it is so chilling.

Incredible job by Julia for looking genuinely terrified. I loved the little smirk she let slip when the crowd starting cheering. I do wish this would have been the full blown turn though. It's been drug out for too long I feel.

I can NOT wait for Julia to finally join the H.O.B, this was such a good tease! Once she joins, the House will be complete. Plus, you know it was a teaser because the chair wasn't facing the right way in her hands.

This was the PERFECT time to pull the trigger on Hart becoming Julia Blackhart. The only way this works now, is if there is a bigger pay off with a 2nd person joining/strengthening H.O.B. Give them more TV time.

I like how each member of the HoB fit into an archetype and it really shows in this segment. Malakai is the charismatic leader, confident and assertive. He makes you feel like he owns the place and everyone in it. Brodie is the fanatic enforcer, a mountain of a man that blindly follows Malakai and would go to hell and back if he asked him too. Maybe not the brightest, but believes in the House with all his heart, maybe more than Malakai does. Buddy is kind of the recruiting guy, he's not being aggressive towards Julia. He's trying to make it easier for her and reassure her as she's betraying her friends. Like he's the latest guy in the House and he sympathizes with her and knows what she's going through and just want to make her feel like it's gonna be okay.

Was expecting it, still expecting it. It's a slow turn but I think it will happen. They're waiting for DoN or All Out? beautiful save by Death Triangle. Just seeing all 3 back is great.

I actually like that they didnt pull the trigger right here.....it almost lines up with cult behavior....the chair was the test, and julia proved she wasnt quite ready to embrace the house of black....eventually she will be.....its not a matter of if, but when...

They should have done Julia's heel turn at this moment, I don't know why they keep delaying it...🤦‍♂️

This Segment is Really Great!

John Harbaugh in the AEW crowed. Well the Ravens drafted Linderbaum, who has a wrestling background so Toni Khan is establishing realations early.

This is great story telling Julia fighting with her conscience the if and when she will give in makes the story more interesting to watch
