Thought it was fuckin sick how Malakai used the black out, but since Sting is used to doing it himself, he knew exactly where Black was gonna be and they stood face to face when the lights came up. Great stuff.

Major props to Brody for being so damn good in the ring as big as he is. I could tell he positioned Darby's head with his leg, knee and thigh muscles perfectly so it was stable and safe for the landing of the finisher. That looked so brutal... 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Darby is one of the most insane wrestlers I've seen in a LONG TIME! He may not be 250lbs and 6'4" but he has talent and heart the size of a giant! Also he is extremely fun to watch! You never know what he'll do! Putting him with Sting was brilliance!👏 AEW really knows how and who to work and utilize!

The authenticity of the way Brody King makes it look so devastating

Brody king has one of the most destructive finishers in AEW. He is slowly getting momentum as a menacing heel.

(The lights goes out) Sting: So that’s that it feels like.

Just imagine what a young sting could do in this roster. Sting vs malakai black would be an instant classic but black and king vs sting and darby is not a bad idea. House of black, ricky stark and hobbs getting more tv time so good to see

Miro is smart. Wears shades so people don't get mist in his eyes.

Love how AEW doesn’t treat ‘the mist’ like it’s some meaningless thing. Penta took it and turned to obscuro. PAC sold the hell out of it, Julia Hart turned, and now you start to wonder what it may have done to Miro.

Awesome match, with an even GREATER ending. Miro will join Sting and Darby to fight the HOB. That will be 🔥🔥🔥 After this I truly hope Black will get his feud against Sting. The mind games alone would be worth this wait. Darby will feud Matthews and Miro vs Brody - 2 powerhouses. Great booking AEW

I honestly don't want to see Sting do any singles matches unless it's cinematic. He can still go, especially for being 63. He's my all-time favorite, but he's no spring chicken anymore regardless of doing those big stunts he's been doing. I don't wanna see my childhood hero looking like an old man even if he is kinda getting up there in age.

@@TheJokesterSCR After the injury in the Rollins match...Sting has to be careful at his age. I've been watching him for 30 years. He was my childhood hero. His presence in the ring alone goes a long way. He still has some gas in the tank, but I would find it hard to believe he could pull of a high intensity 20-30 minute singles match now without a lot of stalling.

Sting already had a dark turn into what he has been for 20 some years. I want to see the mist cancel it out and him return to Surfer Sting.

This was a solid match and they made brody look like a monster also did anybody seen miro shades they had both brown and black which I guess symbolizes which miro is going to choose. Brown means that miro does not join the house of black and stays as the redeemer while black means that miro joins the house of black because black mist slowly corrupts him.

Darby matches are always fun to watch because despite his size the guy can GO. He makes beating bigger opponents look legit. Sting is hands down my favorite legend at this point, I appreciate all the years he's put into this craft and he is STILL going. After getting sprayed with the Black Mist I'd like to see that bring out his Joker persona for old times sake lol Miro vs Malachi or Brody just sounds fire even on paper. I think Miro should at the very least be presented as a tweener. He plays the heel incredibly well yet he's still cheered by damn near the whole arena. I know he beat Darby for the TNT championship so there's a good element to use in his motivation to get involved in this feud. Lastly, I love the House of Black but they need a little more mic time to tie in the story a little better. Hardcore fans might know the history but the reason for the feud can easily fly over people's heads if they miss the details. The talent is all there, looking forward to where this angle goes

He's 10-9 on the year so far, and 6-6 in either singles or triple threats. So fairly even, but definitely losing more this year than previously, since he's 54-19-1 from 2019-2021.
