Slick is a "Jive Soul Bro." As the "Angel" (a Curtis Sliwa-esque character), I don't think that the Georgians would know where Brooklyn (New York) is; I just can't picture Boss Man beating up people, with the (hand)cuffs and nightstick/baton (stick) in a Subway Train filled with crazy people & street performers.
