For me the most important thing there is in any transport (but mostly in Warsaw because there are a lot of unnecessary stations Like Instytut Fizyki having 3 stops instead of 2) is REMEMBERING THE NUMBER OF THE STOP. In simple stop like in my city: Cmentarz, there are only 2 ways that they can go, so you just cross the road and you're done. But in more difficult stops like in my Dworzec where there are 10 stops you have to know the exact number to not go on the wrong stop.

That's right. Some big stops have many numbers and it's difficult to find the correct one. Guess that will be same for any big city

I suddenly feel so old ... I remember when buses and trams were under the MZK umbrella (Miejske Zaklady Komunikacyjne). In 1994, if memory serves, they split to MZA (Miejskie Zaklady Autobusowe) and TW (Tramwaje Warszawskie). Both were under the scrutiny, if you will, ZTM (Zarzad Transportu Miejskiego). 😎😎

Yes, the S trains are also operated by ZTM so all shown tickets apply for them. Important thing is that, you can use all tickets at S trains (red), but only part of tickets (24h or higher) at KM/R trains (green) with exception of RL airport train, where rules are like in S trains

education in public schools is free. it is the most popular form of education paid for by the polish goverment. the second category is private schools supported by tuition fees paid by the parents of the students' children. the amounts range from about PLN 1,500 to PLN 2,500 per month. it all depends on the city. e.g. in Krakow private schools they cost about PLN 1200-1500 per month. in addition, there is the monthly cost of feeding a child, approx. PLN 300-400 per month for breakfast, lunch and afternoon meal

@@bharathimeda6189 In the case of non-public schools, recruitment for vacancies is usually carried out throughout the year. or how a class is created Priority is given to students who continue their education in this school, e.g. they previously attended a kindergarten run by this school. and if there are vacancies, the order of applications decides. However, if there are more applicants than places, the school may conduct a casting. that is, they will check how the child copes in a new place, whether he easily makes new friends. But whether he knows the alphabet (1st grade) or can read a little, etc. In Krakow, reserve lists for private schools were created a year in advance. so you have to make a few phone calls or send emails to find a vacancy, but everything is manageable. while in the case of state (i.e. public) schools, each child living in a given locality is assigned to a school in that area. In this case, you must make an appointment with the school management and ask for a free place. sometimes the school closest to our place will not have vacancies, but maybe one a little further away will accept new students. I think the school administration should give you an advice what to do next. I think Krakow and Warsaw has the same prices around 1500-2000 pln per month.

@@MargoER Thank You For the information. We are planning to shift to Poland (Warsaw) in the mid of this year. Most of the people are suggesting to move along the family but we are hesitant as it will be in the mid of the year which may effect the education of my Child. Please provide me your suggestions and also Can you suggest the time taken to issue Resident Card after we land.

@@bharathimeda6189 It all depends on what month you intend to come to Poland. the school year in Poland always ends on June 21 (unless it falls on a weekend then a few days earlier). So if you want to come to Poland between June and September, I think this is the best time because you will have some time to acclimatize in the new country before the children go to school. If you already know exactly where you will live or want to live, I would email public schools near the place you will live asking if there are places and what the admission process is like. If you want to go to a private school, same if they have a place where you can list your child. In private schools, they usually ask for an entry fee to make a reservation. But this is all to be agreed with the school management.
