I just discovered The Twinz - 'Round and Round'; crazy nice summer song which I was just now bumping in the car. Homie Warren G was behind that too right? His first album was the bomb!

Warren G produced all of Tha Twinz 95 Conversation album (except for 4 eyes 2 heads, Soopafly), and it's as good as Regulate imo, but largely ignored.

You cannot have a hip hop conversation without talking about Warren G. Brother is a pioneer, a game changer, a legend, an innovator, a master craftsman, a technician, a poet, a storyteller, with an impeccable flow and delivery. We love Warren G over here in the U.K. and we want you over here soon. Ice Cube and Cypress Hill touring in the U.K. late 2023 but Warren…Mr G….Sir…the U.K. wants you. Regulators mouth up and come to the U.K. 🙏🏻

I'm a huge fan of Warren. Regulate..G funk era was the first rap album I ever bought as a kid. It still holds up incredibly well. And the other music in his catalog is excellent as well. Massively underrated artist. Such a great interview.

Lot of modern day rappers need to see how legends act.. The ability to string along a sentence without constantly boasting.

Tht was my first love as well homie. I’m glad you never gave up bru and kept it going. When I look back to the music Tht made me fall in love with music. Regulators , chronic, the dogg pound ,biggie , bone thugs and harmony , Tupac, and all the greats from the late 80’s early 90’s. There will never be music like Tht again. Ty for all the tunes and the memories made by all of your music.

What a fantastic interview, Warren G is a staple of G Funk and Hip Hop. So much so that when I visited Longbeach in 2019 I had to "Hook a Left on 2 1 and Lewis"
