I was back country camping in the Shenandoah Mountains (Virginia) in the early 80's with my brother. Very early in the morning I heard something walking in the woods not far away and was cracking some really big branches, as you can tell by the loud cracks it made. My brother in the other tent, heard the same thing. Whatever it was, was walking closer and closer to my tent, where eventually it was right outside my tent making these grunting and growling noises. I told my brother it was right outside my tent, not but a couple feet from my face where I was sitting. Then, James suddenly yelled out...."I have a gun and I will shoot you!!" Just then, whatever it was started backing up away from me thank God. As we compared notes later, we both thought it odd that it seemed that it was walking on two feet, as we knew the sounds of wildlife when they walk through the woods and it wasn't a bear or a dear, etc. To this day, we will never know. But whatever it was responded to my brothers hi pitched voice and then walked away, or it understood English. Who knows. To this day, I don't think I would be here telling this story, if my brother hadn't been with me. I haven't back country camped since that day.

A big guy in combat boots might crunch undergrowth walking in the woods. But the grunts and growls would be a bit restrained it, would seem to me. Well, y'know, lots of life sleeps during the day and comes out at night. Deer populations are thriving in Northern Virginia, but humans aren't aware of them. One morning last Spring, a family of 6 appeared out of the woods next to the back yard, nibbling the undergrowth. Several years ago, sitting in my car trapped in gridlock, a deer gracefully jumped over the hood without touching. It crossed the road perfectly coordinated with heavy car traffic, deftly taking advantage of gridlock. Just amazing.

Saw something walk out from behind my barn and walk threw the field to the tree line. Scary stuff in SW Missouri!!

I had a friend that lived with the West Virginia Ohio border in between their on his property he had a Bigfoot a lot of times he would see him he would steal the dog's food or else when he'd be walking his property he would smell the stench or the dogs or something they always knew that he was a around what he would do was still the dog food dish with a dog food take off with it and bring it back empty and put it at the and the guy said that he had to be at least 8 to 9 ft tall because he the figurine looking through the window and he measured it had to be at least that tall

I don't believe the first story; who fires at something that is moving away and becoming less of a threat with its every step? Who would stand there when it turned and wait as it advanced until it got to within 10 feet of them without blasting it with everything they had? The answer to both questions is no one.

I honestly think that we are getting very close to the end times according to the Bible. It says that men will see things that will make their hearts stop. I think they are being summoned by God to get ready to terrorize people during the Tribulation. There have always been hundreds of them for thousands of years.

I will add my experiences living in my small town... Our pets disappear here, so we dont dare to let them outside alone. Ive lost 2 within months. Many times, usually during the early morning, you can smell gross wet dog smell in the air, mixed with dog poop, & something rotten. Its a smell a person can never forget, & it lingers in the air for hours, sticks to your clothes & hair. It goes away when the sun starts to come up. Dogman goes away, so does the smell. Theres been sightings of it crossing the train tracks.

Maybe that's the reason why all of my neighbors doesn't have their big dogs outside anymore and they're inside

2:13 the cop, drew his weapon to fire warning, shots, and then immediately switched over to a shotgun, and then fired that too? 2:32 cop was so scared he couldn’t leave yet it took everything in that cop not to run away…. I’m pointing this out because it just stood out , it was bothering me!

Ohio has more than just Sasquatch, but dogmen too and those you don't want to know or mess with! Most people that hasn't had an encounter with a Sasquatch, do mistake a dogman for a Sasquatch, because they never heard of such creatures. Dogmen has a pertruding nose like a wolf or dog. Pointed ears and claws and howls like a wolf but much deeper. When standing they are about 7 to 8 feet tall, some have tails, some don't. Very muscular in built and they have a very heavy odor of wet dog.

Well damn it all to hell and back. Now I have to be afraid of the dog man. I’m terrified of Bigfoot 👣and live in Northern Kentucky just 6 miles from downtown Cincinnati. I ride my bike 🚵‍♀️ all over Ohio because Kentucky doesn’t have any lengthy bike trails and the Ohio ones are closer. I don’t want to have an up close encounter with either one. More and more people are reporting seeing the dog man or whatever he is. Personally I think he sounds scarier than Bigfoot 👣. One of the contributors mentioned that some cryptids might be telepathic. That is something I’ve wondered about since it’s impossible to get a good and credible picture for proof 📷. They are supernatural creatures, and they have light in their eyes, not eye shine but lit from within. The sound it heard that scared it was an angel and that tells me that the cop was a righteous human. We do have protection as long as we repent our sins and stay on the right side of life. We don't have to be perfect, we just have to try to be decent.

In 1977 me and a friend in butler county oh. We’re walking down an old railroad tracks shooting pistols we had walked about a mile there where trees on both sides of the tracks,all of a sudden the trees were shaking really hard way harder than even a very strong man could shake them we started yelling and shooting our pistols in the air it shook harder we took off running after about a half mile we stopped and then on the same side of the tracks it started shaking again really hard we really took off made to the car there was a big dent in the hood of the car and the trees were shaking again we got out of there.

The fact that you are intentionally going into the woods looking for something is likely the reason why you don't see anything. Bigfoot, for example, can use mental telepathy to read your mind and to communicate with you. So if you are wanting to see something, they will actually avoid you, It is possible that Dogman, assuming he is real, might have telepathic abilities too. And maybe others. Just something to consider.

I live in Marion, Ohio. We call it Heroin, Ohio. Nothing here but a bunch of drug addicts. Ive lost all my friends and my brother from Heroin. I lived in Colorado on Storm Mountain. One night I heard a huge banging on the outside wall it shook my house. It repeated and I thought WTF is getting crazy at 1am in the winter Rockies. I ran out the house with bear spray thinking it was a bear. I heard heavy footfalls and because it was a moonless night I couldn’t see what it was. However those footfalls were spaced far apart and shook the ground as it must have been massive.

I think whatever these things are,can shape shift and disappear ,

Never seen a dogman or anything like a wolf but have had two encounters with something over the last couple months here in stark county ohio. My neighborhood has miles of deep woods that line the back yards. Theres a dog park that is just clearing surrounded by 3 sides of woods two yards over from my house. One night(summer) i was walking in that clearing close to the treeline and about 10 to 15 ft into the woods i heard a loud crash like something taking down a deer ,then it made a loud whooping noise 3 times in a row, i took off running i was so startled. A couple months later(fall) i was walking to my house through the back yards past the clearing and something caught the corner of my eye. So i stopped walking and looked to my left facing the clearing. About 50-60 ft in the clearing out in the open i saw a black figure walking then it stop soon as it noticed me we both stared at eachother for a few seconds trying to figure out what it was as it was studying me as well. At first i thought it was someone wearing a black uniform then i realized that it was much too tall to be a normal person probably close to 7 ft, lanky but muscular at the same time. It pivoted and turned in the opposite direction it was originally walking. Thats when the moon light hit it just right revealing a pale headed figure with big fang like teeth and evil black eyes. Not sure if it was fur or some kind of black weathered garment. Then it went into a bent over position then ran on all fours like a animal and cleared at least 60ft in maybe 2 seconds flat in such a fluid animal like motion until it reached the treeline and disappeared into the woods. I heard it hit the woods because of all the branches it broke under its weight. Right after it hit the woods i heard the same whooping noise 3 times. Thats when i knew that it was the same thing from a couple months earlier confirming this was real. Both times were between 230-330am and i was completely rested and dead sober.i dont know what it was but it definitely wasnt human. Ive hike throughtout the woods surrounding the neighborhood many times over the years during the day but only recently have i smelled that rotten stence like unwashed animal mixed with aged fecal matter. Theres also giant mounds in those woods that seemed like natural part of the landscape but at this point i dont know like it lives in those mounds maybe. I will admit at this point I'm very scared for my family to go anywhere near the treeline or the clearing at night after what I've experienced.

I live in the town of the last story and the land is so open here that we can see for miles. We have stands of trees but not forests. Very little cover for such a large animal.

Just know this. A shaggy, long haired creature that runs up a mountain on 4 legs but very much stands on 2.. do do multiple things (IS NoT a bear, & least nothing classified) does exist. Very much. Just… be Leary if area you’ve never been to or **Areas you Have been to it’s just there is allot of snow that seasonally or normally isn’t there.** They (whatever that description is) are there… Appalachia

He took a lot ribbing about it, to the point he would'nt talk about it for years! It bothered him so bad he went and got hypnotized later on,15 years after he'd seen it...

There are no palm trees in ohio.

The first story told by the police officer sounds unreal at the end because the cop was dispatched to the scene. The cop arrived and interacted with the homeowner who called in the police in the first place. Yet after engaging with the mystery creature, the cop makes a point of saying they DIDN’T go back to tell the witness what had happened. If the cop just drove away without talking to the homeowner; that leaves a panicked homeowner without any closure…? The cop was SENT to deal with the worried homeowner. The cop would HAVE to file a report after having been ordered to the home. Meanwhile, what did the homeowner do? We don’t know. Wouldn’t the cop collect witness testimony on the scene? (Yes, they do as a routine) If the cop was so freaked out, wouldn’t we assume the homeowner is freaked out too? Why ditch the homeowner…? What did the Chillicothe Police report contain? Cops don’t get sent out to deal with homeowner panic and then just drive away afterwards. The homeowner didn’t call BACK to ask WTH? The whole thing sounds suspicious.

The first story was not a Big Foot. It was a werewolf.

I didn't hear any growls but I moved to Battle Creek, MI few years back and a couple nights far apart from each other. It was damn near pitch black, i live in the sticks, i walked outside to run to another building on my property and i heard nature as usually, bats couple of birds crickets. I came back outside and it was dead dead silent. Not even cars passing and at the far corner of my property right on the tree line there was a large black blob looking thing just sitting in an opening staring right at me as i stared at it longer i realized it looked like a massive black dog or wolf sitting almost like a dog would except arms were hanging over large large knees. The other night it was just completely silent again and i heard something very big moving around in my tree line. Never saw anything that night. 2022 summer.

I have heard only one person in Kentucky tell me of a siting like this. She is certainly someone I trust; is telling the truth. I did some research and, found that, there have been many. They're damn well alive ride in Dexter City Ohio it was in the snow and those little bastards can and they also were circling my Saint Bernard Great Pyrenees dog and literally put a claw Mark in her body and when I went out there so pissed off my dog's pupils were so small and blood red like it was blinding my dog and I'll tell you what she was scared shitless and she was scared she was barking like crazy but I went out there so mad with a ball back but the next morning when I went out there and looked at those tracks and shoot it and looked up me and my daughter on the internet with the tracks it was like I'll never do that again it is a demonic evil that damn thing had to have been flying overhead and circling around my dog and clawed her and after that no she stayed inside with me I still have the Prints that left in snow on one of my older phones that's been about 3 years ago

No, the creature (Dogman) walked back to the officer as an act of defiance. When he heard the high pitched sound and quickly ran back into the forest, it was likely a Bigfoot notifying the predator to get the hell away from that house. Bigfoot are far larger and far more powerful than a Dogman, so the predator would be happy to leave.

If an 8 to 10 foot Bigfoot could get into your bedroom without damaging your house, there is no question that you would have seen and heard him including the giant hole in the wall that he would make when he left the house. And your parents and other family members would also have seen and heard him too. However, I am concerned that you passed out during this experience. I wonder, did you really pass out from fear, or were you made to pass out after seeing something very unusual. Hence, did something make you lose consciousness when you saw it in order to keep you from screaming or were you still conscious but unable to speak or move? I do not know, and you may not be sure either. I doubt that it was an actual Bigfoot that you saw, but it could have been something else, though I have no idea what, In any case, you witnessed something.

Ok. First off. You want me to believe that a police officer only wanted to fire his gun to get the creature to go??? Lol 😂.
