I was born in those mountains and used to play in them as a child. I never encountered anything odd.

Wendy the creature you saw is now probably captured and being tested on by the soldiers in black suv's. Your boss will never give you any information on it. Cryptids aren't meant to be in the main media. It would cause chaos because of people being afraid.
I've lived in W.N.C, my whole 55 yrs. Got my first gun when I was 8,never venture into these woods unarmed, what I want told. Never had no odd encounters, except with people 😢😢😢

I am a 63 year old man and I have been going to this area of the mountains of North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia almost every year since the 1970s not one time have I ever seen or heard a creature that walked on two legs except for other people, I go about twice a year and usually stay about a week or so on each trip, I have walked around all over those mountains and even went on a search for a man and woman that got off the trails and got lost, we found them doing ok but feeling stupid for getting lost, but out of 40 + years of camping and hiking there have been no monsters but plenty of bear elk deer and countless small animals roaming around. I think that these people just like hearing themselves tell tall tails to get a reaction out of people and hear themselves talk
Let's just let them tell these stories! Might help the rental crisis...
I know that my comments must seem like a "broken record," because I keep saying the same things. I do not understand WHY someone allows the disbelief of another makes them think that they are "going Crazy." That person saw it, and she had interviewed teens, who had seen it, yet she doubted ALL of it, because she could not get anyone else to believe her, especially her boss.

The Black Ops. Military Gov. knows everything about Cryptids but Secrecy is their Game. They know if these Creatures are Disclosed, the Fed. Parks and Recreation area's will have to be Shut Down and there will be a Chain reaction of Closed Business's everywhere thus they probably will always do their best to keep the Secret going. The Dogman and Werewolf creatures were Bred and Trained by the Secret Gov., part of their Super Soldier Project started in late 50's. They discontinued this Black Project several years ago, the Chipped Cryptids were called back to Compounds in VA. and CO., supposedly they were to Euthanized the Trained Dogman and Werewolves but they have Bred in the Wilderness areas for over 60 years and the Wild Ones cannot be Called In thus they will continue to Multiply. Hopefully through High Tech Technology used on Black Helicopters they can be located and these large colonies of Dogman will be Hunted Down and Destroyed, if not they will soon Overflow North America...

Regarding the first story, a couple years ago there was a similar sighting of a creature matching the reptilian appearance near Clarion, Pa. It was reported by several school students as well as a high school teacher, in an area near the school, above a river hill and dense woods. It was also alleged that the police had investigated several suspicious break- ins possibly involving the theft of food.

Not sure it makes a difference to go in daytime instead so you can enjoy mother nature. Though the hairy beast are very much around both night and day. Not safe out there anymore. No need to worry about the freaks come out at night instead it's the strange beast come out at night

Hello I’m listening I like your voice and stories
I used to take the stripper to her dope man‘s house way out in the woods because she pay me $100 to pick her up and drop her off + 20 a stop (I had a really fast car that burnt up gas) from the club while I was going to college in Mooresville. one night as I was sitting outside of her friends trap house in the driveway there were zero street lights or light pollution but you could see every star in the sky not to mention the moon was full. I had the top down. next thing I know a huge truck pulls up, and there’s a giant of a man gets out. He says to me… yo I’ll give you $1000 if you take this package to Charlotte and drop it off in this project. I was terrified at first. But I had a friend who lived in the same project. So I wasn’t scared. I took the package. Dropped off the girl and then proceeded to the project, with him trying to follow behind as I hit speeds over 140. He told me to drive as fast as you possibly can and I want to see if I can catch you. When I pulled up, he pulled up 10 minutes later after I had already delivered the package and was about to leave. He gave me $1000. That became my new job. I quit Target immediately. Scared me pretty bad though. 🤣

I live here and honestly, there IS something kind of creepy about the mountains at night, especially in the winter. Its very beautiful but overcrowded so i wonder if the spirits are fed up with so many people in their territory.

Story Three: I wonder if the cave you stumbled onto was where the DogMan stayed in from time to time, and why its scent wasn’t as strong as it would be if it lived there. If it was, if it was then it caught your scent and followed you back to your campsite. It could be why you felt apprehension after leaving the cave, a part of you sensed, unknowingly at the time you would encounter the creature that was carved into the cave wall, an inner warning maybe to leave…

No pictures of the footprints beside the destroyed drone?
Whenever I go anywhere or if I go for a walk, I always pay attention to my surroundings looking for landmarks to use again the next time I come that way, and remember just in case I forget how to get there again. I learned this from my Dad whose business took him into different towns and always through the countryside, which was my Dads favorite way of traveling through the backroads. Since then it’s something I do and can say has helped me out a couple of times! When I don’t see any familiar landmarks…. I turn around and go back the way I came, following the new landmarks I remember driving the wrong way, and I find my way back and start again.
