This guy is my favorite preacher because he keeps it real, he's hilarious, and he explains the Bible in such an easy and understandable way that he is more of a teacher than a preacher which is my favorite kind.

That's not true at all. If you really watched his sermons they are centered on God. Not man. Not him. You're so wrong about this guy. He even encourages people to go to other churches and give to them. He even donates millions of dollars to other churches. He's actually one of the most selfless/ least self-centered pastors I've seen. Don't just a book by it's cover.

I’ve been praying for him. The change in him has literally broken and shattered my heart. I used to… no I still have so much love for my brother in Christ but seeing him lose his way has honestly been so so so sad for me. J say this with tears in my eyes. Let us all not be quick to judge or make jokes, let’s please hold Mike Todd and his church in prayer. This world leads us astray and it can happen to anyone of us. You do know making a cult is all about control and not allowing their followers to educate themselves on anything and they sure don't tell them to join other congregations, it's just theirs and theirs alone. Mike is open to tell everyone as long as your part of the body of Christ, you can go to any church that is to your style, you can go to a Baptist, a methodist, pentecostal just as long as your part of the body of Christ. That's clearly not a cult. Mike is very big in getting people in church and he even said it doesn't have to be his, just get plugged into the community and be part of the body of Christ. A cult leader is full of pride and would never say that or even admit that. I like to study on cults for fun and be aware and you clearly don't know what that looks like or entail. A perfect example of a cult is Jehovah Witness because they are not allowed to read any books unless it's approved by the them, they don't even let them read christian books yet they want to claim they are christians but wont let their followers read christian spiritual growth books. Mormon is also another cult making their followers believe they have to do mission works in order to "level up" they can't have family members who are not Mormon to witness a marriage, Cult alert! Transformation Church in not one of them if the leader is saying "you can go to any church and it doesn't have to be this one as long as your part of the body of Christ."

And it does not always start off as a cult either. The devil is very cunning. He will study a leader for a long time. He is subtle. His ideal is to gradually weave his web. The crazy thing is that I used to watch some of his older videos, and they where inspiring. Once money became a priority, these sermons turned into entertainment. You cannot serve God and money. I want the old Michael Todd back. We should all pray that Jesus comes into his life.

Nobody said he’s perfect… but there’s a difference when you’re a preacher for GOD and a regular person. Do you know how many people he can truly lead astray with that profession ? "Modern" hell? Why does it have to be modernized? Hell is the place of weeping and gnashing of teeth. Hell will one day be thrown in the lake of fire along with death. It doesn't need to be "modernized". If people want to see the depravity of man then they can just turn on the TV or open twitter. His messages and his exegesis has been so inaccurate a lot. I just recently saw that he said that Jesus was Gods tithe, that God sent Jesus as a maybe!!! WHAT? Jesus is the fullness of God not a tithe or a maybe. Do you know what is talked about a lot in every New Testament book? False teaching, every book talks about it we should be very cautious of people that are not teaching sound doctrine. Calling women hoes and saying Jesus is a tithe is not sound doctrine.

Romans 16:17-18 I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people. We need to call out false teachers. How do we know who they are? The bible says, you shall know them by their fruit. If they preach contrary to the Word of God. If they act like the world. The Holy Spirit gives us discernment, but the ones who don't have a lot of discernment need to be warned. That's not called judging, but brotherly love. You don't want people to be mislead. Keeping your mouth shut seems selfish to me.

He’s not for everybody but this wasn’t bad. Watching it live I got it. It was relevant to the crowd that watches and tunes into him. I consider him a gateway pastor. He will lead many into Christianity. Those that grow will seek more. Those he captures though won’t be captured by some others that don’t know how to relate. I don’t think his teaching style is gonna suit seasoned Christian’s but it will attract new Christians.

I just now got into Michael Todd’s preaching and I must say, he isn’t afraid to be himself at all. However, this could be problematic to others who listen to him. Most of all, I know he has something deep within him that needs healing, as we all do. Let’s not be judgmental. We all got somethings wrong with us.

Actually as a 20 year old women his videos are to youth people, most of us today like Mr beast or crazy challenges on KZread.. we cannot sit in a 3 hour long sermon hell my moms almost 50 and she’ll be asleep sometimes in church

I’m 20 years old and most of youth need humor, need visual understanding to get a message.. what would happen if every single preacher preached like Billy graham or Daniel bararseh? Not many youth would follow.. the youth at my church GO HARD during songs because their upbeat, they listen to the sermon because our pastor isn’t afriad to make small jokes and point at himself and show at least 2x a year visuals to the crowd

These pastors are going to bust hell wide open if they dont repent. The sad thing is they've been deceived. God doesn't forgive the prideful, because they don't ask. They think they've done nothing wrong. The level of deception IN the churches is scary. This is why many are having church at home now.

I write plays for our church and we can only go so far; even presenting wordly or evil situations. We can never say booty. Offensive language. We can never go this far. This is a play for outside the church.

THE LORD IS HOLY. THIS IS OPPOSITE OF THAT

Y'all people in the comments need to be saved more. Today's youth are not going to sit in boring 3 hour sermons, Michael Todd preaches to the youth of today in a way they will understand. Instead of sitting in your screens bashing pastors why don't you use that time to preach to your neighbourhood kids in the old fashioned way and see how that goes for you. It's so ironic that the most judgemental people are those that claim to be Christian. Whether he preaching right or funny ain't none of your business, maybe you are the one leading people astray by telling them not to listen to preachers that could possibly lead them to salvation.

But if what you point them to is a tainted version of bad theology… did you really give them Jesus? I’m not saying that’s true of him, but too often we try to reach the lost sheep by extending the fences to give them more room to graze. There is so much grace without truth, or so much modification to the Word to make it acceptable. I’ve heard several things in his messages that were not biblically accurate, and heard the whole front row say “that’s so good, so good.” See what happened to the prophets that tried to add things to the pot, to make the stew taste better… they all got sick. God’s word will do everything it’s intended to do if you let it. We have a generation of pastors and churches that are watering down God’s word to make it cool and acceptable. I’ve heard a few of his messages that read 1 scripture, then never go back to the Bible, it’s all commentary. All I’m saying is Christian’s have to be open to being corrected in love, and the vibe I get from that church is that they dismiss correction as “those people are haters and they’re mad that he’s unconventional”. When alot of it. Seems like a lack of accountability. And when he’s called out publicly, he makes jokes and doubles down on it. I got my own house to get in order, so I’m not judging. But alot of churches have become fanboys of the messengers and worship leaders more than the message.

Yes there are false prophets, that's why we pray for the spirit of discernment so we can know when we meet wolves in sheepskin but I always remember it's not my place to put people down. God said "Touch not my anointed ones" but people are busy running to throw stones. If these pastors are leading people astray, they are God's to deal with not me. I completely get where you are coming from but the comments below are not trying to correct but to break, that doesn't stem from love for the other but love for the self, because "they" don't like 'unconventional' pastors yet forget Jesus was unconventional too, if He wasn't He would not have found Himself on the cross. People seem to pick and choose which parts of their saviour they like and discard any that don't fit their limited understanding. How easily they forget "Your ways are not my ways...." And the reason people "fanboy" as you call it, is that some people are very good at explaining the word in the manner that you understand so you can't help but want to listen to them more. My mom and I have very different "tastes" I can say in preachers, she likes the more traditional types and I like the ones with props, but we both understand that it doesn't mean the other pastor is bad, people just have different ways of learning and so not everyone's teachers will be your cup of tea. The problem with most Christians is that we like to pretend we are above human emotions such as boredom, yes I love Jesus but I still find pastor xxxxx's .message so dull they send me to sleep. I don't do the self deception thing when it comes to Christianity because really?

And we have both authority and obligations, as the body of Christ, to hold each other accountable. That’s not a passive role on our part, but with the same measure we have to examine our own thoughts, comments, conversations, lives FIRST. But there’s always been that disconnect where people want a king, pastor, president as a middle man between them and God. When God wanted to meet with Israel in the wilderness, the people told Moses to go meet with God and tell them what He says. Similarly, today Christians attend services instead of looking to be of service. We look to play church instead of remembering to be the church.

I am 16 years old and his teachings are wrong. You can still minister to the youth without promoting sin. if you are teaching God's true word it will draw people of all ages. Jesus's teaching drew children to him, youth. you don't have to promote sin to get someone to listen to the gospel

I'm so confused some sermons I hear from him are really really good and inspiring but lately I don't know what's going on but in the end he's human, we all fall BUT with GOD 🙏 we get back up.

He makes mistakes just like us, he’s human. Yes, you can correct him out of love righteously, but remember. Just because he has a big following doesn’t mean he’s anymore perfect then any of us.

Well, you're right about 1 thing. Don't follow Pastor Mike, follow God. Don't idolize pastors at all. Pastor Mike points people towards God. Even the "ratchet" people. Even the people in "the culture". He knows how to reach people outside of "the church". Who cares if churchy christians are uncomfortable when he's reaching the people who need God the most? Mike Todd never told anyone to be his follower. If you're following a pastor over God, then you need to check your own christianity.

I pray your eyes are open in Jesus name, the gospel doesn't need to be "modernized" The Gospel is timeless because Jesus isn't affected by time. You have to ask God to show you or u will continue to not see the issues here.

I hope everyone gets saved if they are not and I pray that also. We should pray that every day and that everyone will know they are worth a lot. And we should shine for Jesus yes.

Who are we to judge? Jesus Christ told us to "judge RIGHTEOUS judgement"! That is our responsibility. If he became a Pastor and didn't know what a pastor was, whoever appointed him or put him in that position did something that lead to what and who Michael Todd is today. So if we speak out against him for his actions that go against the Bible do we have biblical grounds? Yes! Search the scriptures daily and put your pastors etc in contrast to those scriptures. They aren't above reproach. They need to be held accountable and removed if they teach wrongly and mislead the flock. " Woe unto those who say....."!

The fact he said In 2015 i became the pastor and had no idea what a pastor did... Shows me he had no mentor. He had not training... who throws the keys to a whole congregation to someone and says good luck?

He became a pastor and didn't know what the pastor did and also he don't like to study. And it shows in his messages that he preaches every sunday, as a matter of fact, he said that he has his people help him do his sermons.

When critiquing anyone’s approach to ministry or even a moment in their ministry we have to always consider who is their audience? - who are they trying to connect with? What are the competing influences for this audience’s attention and affection? And is this strategy effective at reaching that group of individuals? Anyone considering this as demonic, disrespectful, etc need to take a step back and consider that they may just not be a part of the audience that is being targeted with this moment or method of ministry. They also have to consider that it is selfish and self-centered of them to lash out against a form of ministry just because it isn’t resonating with them - especially when it is achieving it’s intended objective of winning the souls of the target group. Consider 1 Corinthians 9:20-23 -where Paul speaks about his different approaches to different audiences. Let’s consider in particular vs 21 “To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law” This is exactly what he was doing in that clip. Before we start behaving like Pharisees let’s remember where we all were at one point in time and what it took to bring us into the kingdom. Let’s also consider where the world is now and what it may take identify with people of this day and age. We would never cross the line of sin but it may appear more worldly than most are comfortable with for the sake of capturing the attention of a target group and save some.

I have seen Christian movies that showed the existence of sin but had a great powerful message of hope in the Savior Jesus. Christian plays and movies can be a great light. I wouldn't have put everything the brother put in but I do believe The Spirit is going to touch the Community. However the Pastor and us all have to be careful what we are willing to do to attract masses. I dont agree on putting such a light on what sin culture, praying for everything

The Bibke tells us to die to ourself and be born of Spirit. So He can live through us and in us, we put away the self nature and put on the Spirit nature, John 3:6 says that which is born of flesh s flesh, that which is born of spirit is spirit. You must be born again in order to see this is wrong. Currently you must not be bit if u humble yourself and ask God for help He will not turn you away and He will open your spiritual eyes and ears. I think God called Lot righteous in the same way that he often gives names to others they dont deserve but he chooses to see and highlight moments of faithfulness. It's more about God and his character then Lot's. Thats my thought
