Wealth in a Christian preacher’s life isn’t indicative of them being a heretic. They can definitely be subject to analysis but it shouldn’t be a red flag

God gave me discernment before I even knew what it was when I just had a feeling I needed to leave Elevation 8 years ago when I was still immature in my faith. Something just didn't feel right & now it's being revealed to me as I continue to learn His word & His truth 🙏

I live near you, I’m up in Statesville now, I went to Elevation after having backslid for some years. During that time Furtick’s teachings made me uneasy. Now I can’t even stomach it. I’m convicted so strongly against his sermons that I have to turn it off. I can only watch them out of essentially collecting evidence to turn people away from that church.

He wants you to have faith in him, Tracy, that he loves you and wants what is best for you. He wants to know you because you were made by him, in his image, for his glory. He has saved me from myself and from evil and he will do the same for you if you accept that you are a sinner who is in need of redemption. He will guide you through life and draw you closer to God if you listen to and obey him. Without Jesus, we cannot have relationship with the Lord. He is the bridge that gaps the Almighty and the fallen. Steven Furtick has misrepresented His Word on multiple occasions and, out of love and concern, we must pray for him. God is loving and so he is just. There will be punishment for those who disobey and for those who twist his holy word carelessly. His word is the Truth, and it being twisted leads people to the opposite of the truth. There will be a price to pay for the misguidance of the Lord’s sheep. Only God knows if Steven is saved or not. All I know is we must pray that he humbles himself before the Lord, and asks for forgiveness of such an evil thing. His pride is bigger than his ability to see the truth, to see reality. I do not want him to face the wrath of God for which he has done, and neither does God. This is why God gives us our whole lives to turn to him - because he wants us and he wants to set us free. Pray for Steven for his own good and for the glory of the Lord.

If you get upset when someone speaks the truth about someone else, it’s because you worship them! It’s that simple!! I see people upset because Justin is sharing the truth about and with Steven. If you’re upset about this, I encourage you to read your Bible, pray about it, and seek to truly know Jesus Christ!

There is one problem with Justin Peters making ANY comments about ANYONE! Justin Peters has obviously never read Matthew 7:2-5. Furthermore, he doesn’t believe that Jesus died for everyone, just the “elect” who he thinks includes himself. Peters is a Calvinist, not a Christian! Calvinism is NOT Christianity, any more than Mormonism or Jehovah Witnesses. Pastors such as Peters, Spurgeon, MacArthur, Baucham, Sprouls and Piper all take great pride into deceiving churches into hiring them, never disclosing their true beliefs and then sneakily start spewing their false doctrine to unknowing believers. Sorry but I have to interject... Peters is doing the right thing by calling Furtick and other false teachers out! I served at Furtick's church and what a huge mistake that was!! I tried getting help from some of his folks and or trying to make decent church connections and was clearly told that unless your giving thousands of dollars/ making an investment they refused to help! Church exists to help people freely with our Lord Jesus Christ being glorified! It's completely the opposite with his crazy church, it's all about money and to Glorify himself. He won't come to true repentance! I'm almost guessing Furtick is actually from Hell and will be going back there! He's extremely dangerous and people need to be warned! I attended Elevation Church for 10 years. Served as a leader on the campus safety and security team for most of that time. When the SCOTUS struck down abortion Furtick refused to mention it and applaud it, I left the church. One of the pastors contacted me and asked to meet me for coffee and I met him. He asked why I left and I told him and he said he and the campus main pastor was also disappointed by Furtick not standing up for the unborn. He said Furtick had stated in a weekly staff meeting that he did not want to "offend" anyone. Furtick and his wife are both heretics and are only in it for the money. I saw it first hand.

I used to watch Furtick daily when the Lord was first drawing me to Truth....it was before I was truly saved so I had no discernment. Praise God for the solid reformed church I started to attend at the same time! That was late 2019 and it's still my church family today. The Lord saved me and quickly showed me the false teaching of Steven... Praying the Lord brings him to truth and repentance.

Sadly a “reformed church” is not a Christian Church but rather a Calvinist Church. Calvinism is NOT Christianity, it is a cult much like the Mormon Church and Jehovah Witnesses. They have all rewritten the Bible to serve their own agendas. Guys like Peters, MacArthur, Piper, Baucham, Spurgeon, Sprouls and their ilk take great pride in deceiving churches into hiring them without looking into their doctrine so they can sneakily promote their deception. If you doubt me, look for an interview between MacArthur and Piper where they laugh at the ignorance of the elders that hired them. These men are true wolves in sheep’s clothing, doing everything they can to destroy the Kingdom. I challenge you to read The Westminster Confession of Faith and lean the true agenda of a Calvinist “church”. I pray that you will see the error of your ways and find a good Bible teaching Church.

Mr Peters - thank you 😍. I live in a remote location in northern BC Canada. Our pastor regularly quotes Furtick and TD Jakes and I shudder. As someone who has no access to sound teaching locally, I have resorted to heading a ladies Bible study group that went through Revelation for 6 months and now Acts for 6 months with sound teachers like Dr D Jeremiah and Gary Hamrick. In these last days if you are too remote to move to a "remnant" church that isn't apostate, then BE that remnant yourself. Utilize people such as Justin Peters who humbly stand proclaiming truth in this end times world of deception and apostasy.

I would challenge you to read the Bible before blindly following these guys, and then research Calvinism. Calvinism IS NOT Christianity anymore than Mormonism and Jehovah Witnesses. These Calvinist preachers such as Spurgeon, MacArthur, Piper, Baucham, Peters and Sprouls are all wolves in sheep’s clothing. They take great pride in deceiving churches into hiring them so they can sneakily teach their false gospels. They DO NOT believe the Jesus died for everyone, just the “elect” which they think they are. I would beg with you to reconsider your decision to listen to Justin Peters. He is NOT a Christian, but a Calvinist. Calvinism does not believe that Jesus died for everyone, but only the “elect” of which Peters believes he is. “Pastors” such as Peters, Spurgeon, Piper, Baucham, MacArthur and Sprouls take great pride in deceiving churches into believing they are Christian only to sneakily spew their false doctrine. Amen brother. Ive been calling Furtick out as a false preacher for years where many people in my church at that time tried to stop or quench it. Please pray for my father who listens to Furtick on a weekly basis. Personally I cannot stand listening to a full sermon by him without being filled with anger at how much the word is being twisted and contorted in deceiving so many of Gods beloved. God please help your church to mark and avoid such as these and please do a work in their hearts and make them RUN to you on their knees and to repent of their sins.

@@eddyk4062 I am. I’m 62 years old and was raised in the Church. Recommitted my life to Jesus 18 years ago and spend hours in the Word everyday. Until I started listening to Pastor Furtick I never really “dug into the Word” Now I listen to him teach 3 times on a Sunday, taking notes and then looking forward to the Wednesday morning follow up. I have NEVER had the Bible come more alive than the past few years. I was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastasized cancer 2 1/2 years ago with a 3 month life expectancy so I cling to EVERY day. I have dissected passages of scripture that I had read a hundred times before after hearing Pastor teach. Peters was in Kootenai, ID which is where my family still lives. He spent all his time worrying about what other Pastors were doing rather than tending to his own flock. I have NEVER felt “fed” by anything he had EVER said. I agree that guys like Copeland, Parsley, Osteen, Duplantis, White and Hinn (just to name a few) make my skin crawl. That being said, I have listened to several other Pastors that are true teachers. Steven Furtick is one of those men. He might get loud and animated at times but his teaching has opened my eyes to Gods grace and plan for my life. Sadly, Peters plays a snippet out of context and criticizes him and others with zero regard for what Jesus said in Matthew 7:2-5. I cannot respect anyone that uses his physical disability to give him a platform that he has no right standing on.

After he said God wanted him to have a 12,000,000.00 mansion that did it for me. Not that God doesn't want us to prosper, but it just didn't sit right. Also when I was a new Christian I went to an Elevation concert and before the show started they did basically a PowerPoint show on how you can contribute to their overseas ministry etc... we paid allot of money to see them, not get a money pitch 😔

Reminds me of a coloring book they had at Elevation where they basically glorified Furtick. It was very cult like.😶 They got rid of it but it was still awful.

Name one false prophecy he prophesied. You can believe different on peripheral topics but their core is the same with most denominations. I think most of us believes that salvation is by grace and not of works. We believe in the trinity, unlike the JW and Mormons. We believe that Jesus is God in the flesh that the evidence of the new birth is the new life. We all may believe differently on the gifts or once saved always saved but that doesn’t separate us as brothers and sisters in the Lord.

Calvinists believe that our eternity is predetermined and those selected go to heaven regardless of their behavior on earth and even if someone not “selected” should genuinely accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior they would be exempt from and eternity with Him. Calvinists have rewritten the Bible, in the form of the ESV in order to better serve their purpose, just like JWs and Mormons. I would urge you to read The Westminster Confession of Faith as that is the Gnostic Gospel of Calvinism. It seems clear that Peters and his fellow wolves, MacArthur, Piper, Baucham, Spurgeon, Spouls and others like him have snowed you into thinking that they are somehow Christian. The Bible tells us to take the Gospel to all the world. Calvinists don’t think that’s necessary because true believers don’t need to be evangelized. Of course, that comes from their warped sense of self entitlement, not the Word of God.

I can’t believe how narcissistic Steve is but then again my son went to college with Steve at Gardner-Webb University and he said that Steve was sort of all about himself back then but never would I think he could become someone that puts himself equal to our Creator. When I first came across this Steven Furtick, I saw the words on his thumbnail & I was very interested it…but as soon as I clicked on it & he started talking, I just got this uneasy feeling & just couldn’t watch him. I believe when you’re truly in love with God & have a relationship with him, he lets you know when someone or something isn’t right! Thank You Lord 🙏🏻 All praise, glory & honor to YOU!!

I feel you. I watched a video of when he came out on stage when the band was playing a song. The feeling I had was awful. I mean this, but when I’ve seen pornography in the past, knowing it was foul and wrong, it was that same sort of feeling when I saw furtick jumping around the stage.

None of his teaching makes sense. It's not mistakes in understanding or even twisting scripture, it's more of making it up

Sadly you have drunk the Peters Koolaid. This man rewrote the Bible to serve his own agenda, much like Joseph Smith. He will be the first to admit that his “biblical teaching” has absolutely zero basis in scripture. The man is full of envy and deceit…hmmm, sounds like the evil one…my grandmother, rest her soul used to say, “it’s usually the ones doin the accusin that are the ones doin the doin” Peters really needs to focus on Jesus and realizing the price He paid on Calvary’s Cross for ALL sin. John tells those who judge, do it carefully. It’s a shame that Peters can’t find time in his hotel room to open the drawer, pull out the Bible, open it and read the beautiful word!

Justin, all believers in Christ are to contend for the true gospel of Christ & denounce the doctrines of demons being taught en masse. If anyone is in agreement with the wolves such as Furtick, Jakes, Myers then they have itching ears & are not building their walk with Christ on solid biblical doctrine! Any believer indwelt by the Holy Spirit cringes at the heresies being spoken by these WOF charlatans. By all means continue to persecute and judge Justin, he will and does count it all joy! People who live for the flesh & not the living God are angered when their idols such as Furtick, are disproven for the heretics they are. I thank God above for preachers like Justin, who tell the truth of Gods word that brings repentance rather than placate sin that will leads to hell.

@CP-dk8oi it’s pretty clear if you do the research that Peters and his ilk are not doing anything to glorify the Kingdom. To spend the time he spends obsessing over other teachers is NOT what Jesus advocated.

I have never fallen for his “teachings.” I pray he realizes his error and repents and comes to Christ before it’s too late.
