Just wanted to say I watched a couple of your videos and I really like your passionate energy. I startes coding in January for web sites and I have a natural eye for design and was looking to figure out a way to learn the fundamentals so I could design and build websites. Lauren, I know you’re a freelance designer but I plan to major in graphic design for uni next year, and every uni website I look at has a degree that leads to graphic design under a different name- fine arts, studio arts, design, and so on- could you help and explain what I should be looking for when trying to find a degree that can put me on the graphic design career path?

There should be something related to communications art or design. Fine art would be about painting, drawing and sculpturing. Same with studio arts. You want to find something related to graphic design itself. I find it hard to believe that wouldn't be its own school inside the uni. Could you post the link to the uni's site here?

The 2 that I use are Keywords Everywhere and Tube Buddy.

Sensei, are a phone and short videos enough for this? I do not remember someone relying solely on that and making it big.
