Oh how I miss this show. Sad that nobody took the reigns and continued it. I know nobody can stack up to Huell but it would be cool to see someone go back to all of the locations he did and see how things have changed

EVERYONE loved Huell. I really can't think of anyone who could take his place. They should have just started a brand new show with a new host but not call it the same name.

I’m not sure anyone could have done what he did. I was a little put off by how many times he walked away from the director. He was excited, but it just made me nervous. LOL

There is a new guy doing the California Gold tours. Not Huell, but he’s pretty good. I always hoped to meet him living in California myself, but no. He was so handsome and charming! 🥰✌️👍 3-3-21 😷

I cried for twenty minutes after just hearing his name, I knew it would be special I just didn't know it would be so devastating listening to his voice. He was one of the very special humans to ever walk the planet. I miss him as much as my own mother.

I looked forward to watching Huell Houser on PBS . I Wish that they would have had the good sense to find someone to continue with His show ! No one could do it like He did, but there is still so many interesting places to see . It's now the end of 2020, and we are going through so much, with the covid-19 pandemic that it would have let us keep entertained and we would learn while viewing !! Rest in Peace dearest Huell ! You are so missed ! Luv Ya guy! ❤️💙💜💚💛

I learned of Huell because of KZread creators that have covered him in a particular “Vlog”s” or two. There does exist now some really good KZread channels by video creators that travel the country featuring interesting places while first doing research so that they can create an informative video. Where many of them lack though is the interaction with people like Huell did that’s hard to equal.
