Huell was a treasure. No one like him.

I miss California and the food there is no place like it in the world living in Florida sucks, have cancer treatment while on dialysis, love you Huell Howser and California gold show, Rest in Peace.

the thing I like about Huell, is that he's just absolutely amazed by the slightest things. I've never seen someone so amazed by a guy kneading dough.

This is just such an eye-opening episode. I have been making pizza at home my entire life and I really appreciate the spectrum of alternatives on display here. I will stick to my handmade pies fermented for 2-3 days and topped with the best of ingredients I can find. Huell and I are contemporaries and lived in LA at the same time, so his loss really hits home even so many years after. His legacy will hopefully live on to inform future generations about what laid the ground work for where they are now (for good or for ill I must add). All that aside, this episode is a great example of what Huell did best when he was at the top of his game

Huell could get genuinely excited watching paint dry…look Louie, the paints starting to look less wet! I miss Huell, but glad that we had him at all…

Huell's sense of wonderment gets the better of him as he constantly talks over the dough guy as he tries to explain things. At times Huell does over does it, sort of a weaponized Mr. Rogers.

If you look at how large his old school oven is compared to the newer ones on rollers, he could fit them in. But more power to doing it the old fashioned way.

I'm through with buying pizza from a pizzeria. It's $40 for a large pizza now. I'll make my own. That was the stingiest amount of sauce. Would it hurt to double dip the sauce?

Huell always acted so clueless and likeable.

Of course, the employees at a fully automated pizza joint get no more satisfaction from their work than a mop-jockey in a gas station, so the turnover in pizzeria workers is about the same. And if any of the pizza machinery breaks down, you have to close down.

Huell always did a great job and when they do another season of Visiting they should hire Adam The Woo as the new host. He is very good and a big Huell fan.

Steve sold out to new owners in 2022, it's very different now i hear, and the dispute and debate of leaving all the memorabilia from Steve has been a huge issue in the area i hear. But i wish the new owners well, as their website looks horrible to this day.

Too much pizza after the age of 50 makes an unhappy colon.

First off all, NEVER mix yeast water and salt, and mix it like he does, all he is doing is killing the yeast, and then he wack his finger at a dough press, what a hypocrite

Huell is getting senile. You can tell on his videos. On this video, he rudely cuts off the olive woman and dont even know it. lol

You must be new to Huell, he can do that often. My favorite is when he is so exciting and talking while shaking someones hand, it can go on forever, LOL. I miss that man all the time. He was Californias Gold.

Yah he did that all the time. I think he would get so excited he really doesn't mean it. But yah In some episodes you can tell some of the guests would get annoyed. One guest one time actually stopped Huell and was like don't interrupt I am telling a story. It was so funny it was an old lady and I don't remember what episode it was but that old lady wasn't about to be cut off. But Huell was such a nice guy I don't think he realized it when he would do it.
