A nice Dessert: Slice plump chilled Strawberries. Put back in the fridge to chill. In a sauce pan, add a heaping tablespoon of butter. To that, add a heaping tablespoon of rich, dark brown sugar and two ounce of Kahlua. let the emulation of butter sugar and Kahlua caramelize. Place your thick slices of strawberries on your plate, pour over the caramelized sauce. Next, dab on a tablespoon of (Sour) Cream, not whipped cream. Then drizzle with chocolate sauce. To end it off, crackle over black pepper over everything, the sweet, sour and pepper is a taste explosion in your mouth.

Never ever throw out the Shiitake stems. That is so wasteful and stupid. I dry them in a very low oven (or food dehydrator), grind them into a very fine powder using my spice grinder, and use that powder in so many things. It adds a huge umami boost to any preparation its used on. I also add it to various spice mixtures as well . It contains a natural glutamate (MSG) so it really just makes things taste more savory.

I have no idea if UK salmon is different...I'm from South Africa and we get Cape Salmon on our west coast. It is a pale coloured fish. The bright pink salmon is usually farmed and injected with dye (allegedly?). Fresh wild caught Salmon is basically non existent in SA. I buy farmed Norwegian, or rainbow trout. Tastes good to me.

Are you American? I think in Europe many people find imperfect teeth more attractive. Perfect is boring. Besides, I think there is nothing wrong with her teeth.

@@Nickname006 I'm from New Zealand. A lot of 'character' teeth in my family that's for sure lol. I do think the dead straight bright white look can almost look fake or like dentures sometimes. Its what people are getting more used to seeing though so has reinforced the pressure to do that. It's a bummer, like many things it tends to be a bit of a wealth thing like who has the ability to access orthodontics, dental care etc

Her teeth are normal, idk what you're talking about...most people don't want obnoxiously white teeth which definitely look fake (and cost a boat load of money).

@@micah864forgive me for my possible ignorance, but I thought NZ has a public Healthcare system? Is it not possible to get orthodontics work with public Healthcare? I'm from South Africa and while we are able to get basic dental assistance and dentures as needed, we have to wait a long time because govt clinics are notoriously understaffed. Most people have to get their dental work done on medical insurance, but they cap you quite brutally...
